The lead singer has been married to the blonde singer for many years. They were dating at the time of the Eurovision Song Contest. They all look great and sound amazing.
And there were more normal people with core values. Funny, the whole purpose of advancement, education, science, technology and engineering is to make life much easier, safer, simpler, cheaper more peaceful, less stressful, happier, healthier and more fun for every single human being on the planet.
This song somehow reminds me to 'Tie Yellow Ribbon, both songs makes me smile and gives me frisson, but yes I agree with what your said, this song simply perfect
Memories of dancing round my dad's living room when i was small. He used to sing this to me when i was wee, he couldn't sing a note but he tried his best, and I will always remember sleepily sucking my thumb with my head on his shoulder as a toddler as he tried to get me back to sleep from a nightmare. My dad and I used to watch the Eurovision Grand Finals together every year, since I would spend the weekends with him and was allowed to stay up late to watch. This will be the first year watching without him. He died in december of 2019, just before my fifteenth birthday. I miss him every day but this song will always remind me of the good times we shared together.
Hi son, I used to sing it to my kids in the same way you're Dad did for you and hopefully my kids will remember me when I'm gone in the same way you will always remember your dear Dad. Take care and be good to your children cos we don't have them for very long.
Every time I hear this it brings back memories of my childhood and dancing in my living room with mum and dad my favourite all time Eurovision song 🎵 thanks I am smiling with a tear in my eye for lost times

@@debbieflack1211 Hi Debbie, Bless you. I luv this track and reminds me of the time n Fab to be young and luvly memories of my parents too. Kind regards Glynn n greetings from Stourbridge West Midlands UK 🕊🕊🕊
Dancing around my living room in tears this is bringing SO many memories back to me. I am from The Netherlands and was at Eurovision in The Haque. WOW. Made my day!
For a so called "plastic throw away" pop group, they sound bloody amazing, sing LIVE pitch perfect and perform better than many of today's "stars" . Brilliant
I am in the USA but in 1976 I graduated from high school and my parents gave me the gift of a trip to the UK. One of my parents was British, so I had a great summer meeting my relatives and seeing the country. This song was absolutely everywhere.. I consider it the theme song to my vacation that summer! As been said, I have a lot of wonderful memories associated with it
😢aww that brings back memories and tears. My dad who is 71 this year used to play that as i was only 3 in 1976 and as he worked away alot he used to sit me on his knee and sing this to me😙😙😙
I was also 3 in 1976 (well till my BD, then i was 4 ;-) ), and i also love this song. Maybe we just tend to love the songs we heard when we were little childs.
@@Notir072 hi I was 13 in 76 .you missed Waterloo 'Abba what a Fab night' also 71 Dana she was gorgeous. Did u like Bucks fizz..Kind regards Glynn n Greetings from Stourbridge West Midlands 🤗🤗
Oh my god... I loved these (secretly) in the 70's!!.. I remember 'Save Your kisses for me' being on top of the pops and knowing the dance and wave that went with it.. 😂😂.. But they were never a 'cool' group, so to keep in with my friends, I'd keep that side to me very quiet. Around the mid 70's, as a birthday treat, my mum took me to see them at the London palladium and I was the youngest one there. Again, the trip 'had to remain secret'... But it was a wonderful night and even just hearing their name brings back so many happy memories... 😊😊😊😊
I was in junior school when this won Eurovision - and suddenly - the song was everywhere on the radio, TV, in my school disco! 40 years later - it is as if...I'm still there, in 1976...what wouldn't I give to go back there just for a short time...just to live it again.
It must be really really special that you can be together with your partners or colleagues for such a long time... up and down, in good times and also in bad times, growing old together and can still perform together... this is amazing... we could see that currently not so much group band are still in original formation... bravo...
I read the comments, I'm so envy so many people have memories with this song, while i just heard street singer sang this song and then google it, and that's it no beautiful memories like all of you, you guys just very lucky to have memory with this beautiful song
My grandma bought this record for me in the 70's when I was about 4yrs old. It was the first record I played on a Music Maker record player that I won in a colouring competition
Holy Hannah what a trip down memory lane. I was 14 in 1976....oh boy now I feel old. I haven't heard it in years but after a few bars the lyrics came flooding back and I was singing alone with them. Great trip...thanks for posting this.
Such memories, this won the Eurovision Song Contest the night I met my Wife. The start of the long hot Summer of 76 We all get older, I think still they look and sound amazing. Sure they won Eurovision but I think they were much more than that. Great Entertainers that epitomised the Music and the Mood of the Country at the time. Look at their moves, then look at Our Kid a group of teenage boys who had a major hit in the UK around the same time. They were all at it, truly Great Fun.....maybe it was down to the weather.
Makes me wanna cry... The World is ending - and we are all dying - come back these lovely, lovely uncomplicated happy days... They're gone forever - and there's nothing we can do...
Still love the twist at the end 47 yrs later(2023), when I heard it first in 85, not 76 as mum was carrying me(was born dec 6), thought about his wife or girlfriend not his 3 yr old daughter.
Totally forgot this lovely song for decades, and one day afternoon was doing nothing in couch, and the song just came to my mind, found the song in RU-vid and it really made my day that day!
Thank you Brotherhood of Man for this wonderful and beautiful song❤❤❤. It was the first single I've ever bought and I sing it now for my 3 year old grandson with his cute little wave😍😍😍😍😍
A God what can I say my dear mom and dad reminds me of my great childhood I loved this song mom and dad my world I miss you both so much I want my childhood back rip
Utterly bloody wonderful wish we had an all brits CD of Eurovision songs or at this moment in time a JOYOUS celebration programme now that Eurovision is cancelled x
