Hello, I'm one of the commissioners for this soundtrack, and this is the 5th soundtrack that I commissioned from Brandon. I'm really amazed by how great this track came out. I see some people are a bit confused by the connections, so here they are: - Killed their families, leaving only their younger brother alive - Those younger brothers were scarred, and found them, seeking revenge - Formed a group, and was thought to want the destruction of the status quo (Ministry of Darkness/Akatsuki) - Revealed to actually be working on behalf the establishment (The Corporation/Konoha heads) - Despite tormenting their brothers, they still actually care for them and have saved them on occasions - Both were empowered by the death of someone they cared for (Mystic Urn/Mangekyou Sharingan) - Both have returned from death after being killed in a fight with their brothers Also, remember that this is The Undertaker in this match-up, not Mark Calaway. It's great to bring WWE characters into Death Battle because of WWE's rich lore and kayfabe setting, but it's also important to separate the wrestling personas from their real-life counterparts when it comes to Death Battle.

I’m cracking up at this. I love the idea of Itachi standing over the Undertaker’s body after using one of his genjutsus only for the Undertaker to do a sit-up and grab Itachi by the neck.

Undertaker: "You can't kill.... what won't die!"

The climax ends with a "Rest....in....PEACE!!!!"

Itachi: "So... You know the feeling when your dead and you gotta watch your brother handle things?" Undertaker: "Yep...."

Dangerous Gaze really has become "the Uchiha Motif." It's simple, but never gets old

Itachi sits in a graveyard, somewhere far from the Hidden Village. He notices a grave with a strange symbol on top. Before he can question anything, he hears the tolling of a bell.... "THIS MATCH IS A DEATH BATTLE! RISING FROM HIS GRAVE, FROM DEATH VALLEY, WEIGHING IN AT 310 POUNDS, THE UNDERTAKER! AND HIS OPPONENT, FROM KONOHAGAKURE, WEIGHING IN AT 128 POUNDS, THE CLAN KILLER, ITACHI UCHIHA!"

Wiz: The Undertaker, the undefeated WWE champion. Boomstick: And Itachi Uchiha, the deadliest ninja of Naruto. Wiz: Death comes for all, and sometimes those who bring it are undaunting, unwavering, ever-feared, and nigh impossible to slay. Boomstick: But they know how to send people to their graves, and they’re super damn good at it too! He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick! Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!

I think this is the first time I’ve audibly said “what the fuck?” when getting a notification for a new track.

(Picture the scene: Itachi and Sasuke's final battle, with a twist: Itachi goes to strike his iconic final blow...then the whole area cuts to black. Itachi comes to in a purple and black void...with the Phenom himself standing right behind him. The Uchiha traitor senses danger and immediately leaps to a safe distance, glaring the Deadman in the eye, Sharingan meeting cold white eyes.) Itachi: "Where am I?! Who the hell are you?!" Undertaker: "I'm sorry...but the spirits of the Uchiha clan have brought me here. And soon...they will *REST. IN. PEACE."*

Comic Undertaker was an actual dark wizard, and necromancer. Legit look it up. Itachi gets Tombstone'd into his Grave, he will REST IN PEACE.

Undertaker's winning quote: You fought well, but at this point you were just a dead man walking. Now join your clan and rest.... in..... peace......

We live in a world where more people request the undertaker for death battle than luffy

Fuck, that would be such a cool fight. The sheer _weirdness_ of WWE/wrestling lore (remember the Undertaker going to Hell, or killing demons in Scooby Doo?) against the bullshittery of Naruto. Would be a sight to see, and overall super badass, no matter who wins. Amazing job as always, Brandon!

You'd think a fight between a turquoise-haired android singer and an idol girl who pilots mechas would be the weirdest. You'd think a fight between OCs would be the most unique. You'd think El Hermano fighting Mario with a speedrunning addiction is the peak of matchups. You'd think Cool Cat and Chuck E. Cheese would be the most outlandish. And yet, here we are, Itachi vs The Undertaker. You know what, VS community? Surprise me more. Show me obscure and old stuff. Show me more OCs. Try and top these. Because no matter what matchup it is, Brandon keeps on delivering with god-tier music. And boy, it is heaven to my ears. EDIT: What the heck happened down below hereeeee lmao

I have the feeling that people want the Undertaker in Death Battle. You know what? I want it too. The comissioners have done their job excellently. Thwy sold me the character my requestint Yates a really good song. Ngl bro, that guitar idk how Complex or simple it is, i like it how it sounds. And then how it flows to the other instruments, simple yet efective

Killing blow: **Undertaker destroys Itachi's Perfect Susano and grabs him to use his signature move, the Tombstone Piledriver. (They are in the air for this) As Itachi is unable to escape the Phenom's grasp, he hears some chilling words** Undertaker:Go to your clan... **as he gets piledrived into the ground, crushing his skull and killing him instantly.** Undertaker: and REST... **A coffin appears and traps Itachi's corpse inside, before it closes.** Undertaker:IN PEACE. **Undertaker does one of his signature poses as a bolt of lightning hits the coffin, setting it on fire before the screen fades to black.**

"BAH GAWD KING!!! UNDERTAKER JUST CHOKESLAMMED SUSANO'O ALL THE WAY TO HELL!!"

They got Randy Savage to fight the Kool Aid Man, so why not have a WWE Wrestler fight a Anime Character!

I genuinely was surprised when I got the notification for this, and immediately got hooked in the first 30 seconds. The cover art is monstrously good, and bits of dangerous gaze definitely got me (as I always love references to previous songs), and overall the song is. . really damn good. I love it.

How fitting on the week this is released, Undertaker is announced for the WWE Hall of Fame (whether you believe it has any integrity or not, to each his own, Taker does in fact want it since he agreed to it).

This makes me see a fight between Saxton Hale from Team Fortress 2 and Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising. I think it is kind of a good matchup

I don't know what I should be more alarmed at, the fact that not only does Undertaker gets a second commission song (and not against the Crow), the fact this matchup somehow works, or that I was listening to Undertaker vs Sting prior to seeing this. Regardless, my childhood self is loving this and this is probably the best Valentine's gift ever, Banger song Brandon! Rooting for both, thinking Undertaker takes it.

Color me surprised, but this fight is interesting. The undertaker has 3 media sources to pull from for his stats, although only his Chaos! Comics and WWE Immortals appearance will help him here. in WWE Immortals, he is comparable to Hulk Hogan, now Hulk Hogan, in one of his supers fly's to upper orbit, then slams down with enough force to cause a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION. as well, in Chaos! Comics, he collects all 3 of the Books of The Dead, which together granted him the power to RESHAPE THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE AS HE SEES FIT. Itachi got nothing on that, well maybe besides genjitsu. that's his one hope here, and The Undertaker does have resistance to Perception manipulation due to being able to see past demons disguises that make regular humans see two human wrestlers fighting while its actually two demons mutilating each other. Also he doesn't have a soul. WWE is weird man.

Oh sweet fuck lmao. Another sweet cursed goodie. What I find funny is that the fucking chorus and Dangerous Gaze here give the track a lot of personality. I ironically find it fitting for both.
