the key to memorizing long complex songs with multiple movements is to break up the song down into pieces. sometimes these pieces are only a few measures, a repeating chorus, or even riff. Doing this shifts your perception of where you are in the song from which note or chord to a wider focus of which SEGMENT am i on. Once you done this the individual notes are simply reflex and muscle memory, for the most part you wont think about them.
It's fantastic how like 10 members of the Montreal prog-death scene in different combinations can make up 5 different bands - you're like a loving patchwork family from hell 😊
This is how all playthrough videos should be done in this day and age....the whole band on full display. Badassery. Happy I found these guys. They need more subs!
That guitar riff at 3:20-4:30ish is so incredible. And then the solo that follows...... exquisite. Mad skills. The whole fuckin band is just so skilled
I don't really get all the comments regarding this matter. Despite sharing some of the (ex-)members of BC, I think this sounds quite a bit different. The song structure is also not in any way typical BC. I really like what I hear! Looking forward to a new album from you guys!
Hloy Hesit Mann I can't thank you enough .. that song is insane , Christians solo at the end is perfect!!, now to return the favor.. Band: Martyr Song: Endless Vortex Towards Erasing Destiny .. Canadian tech death at its finest
Sacredgeometry Vocals are really different, also the style of instrumentals is very and very different. Tones are different, bass is different (you can tell 'cause there was much more tap-slidy technique in Forest's playing). The band is really good though, I like it almost on the same level as BC. I guess BC is just a little bit more brutal ;)
guys, don´t get me wrong...or get me wrong?! what the heck. with all your 78 string guitars and this clean polished "like a drum computer" sound, your diversity in sound is so unrecognisable low. for me it was like to find the different tone inside white noise. you are close to the edge to not call it music. you really make death music! congrats
internetwarrior666 I'm smelling what you're stepping in. This particular style and feel just really resonates with me so I'm all for it, but it absolutely could be the same band.
