I want to thank you so very much for this video: I have been trying for the past two weekends to re-create David Bowie's "Life on Mars" look, however I struggled for a considerable amount of time with it. I did the Spock eyebrows a few years ago, so I was confused as to why covering the rest of the brow was so difficult. However, with patience and using your video as reference, it worked! I have to work on blending it a bit better but at least now it stays hidden and you can barely see it. Thank You! ❤️💙❤️💙 Happy Halloween!🎃
@@RosieBrownie Sorry this is late, lol. Sadly, I ended up not doing it as I got frustrated. i was able to get most of it covered however in trying to add more layers to cover up the dark, I ended up making it look icky and cakey :/ I did find another route: there are actual make up pieces that you can glue over your eyebrow to 'block' them. I think they are called "eyebrow blockers" actually. I am inclined to try it: for whatever reason, the magic that happened when I was Spock didn't apply for when I was Bowie :( It's not the tutorial's fault, I just did something wrong is all. Having arthritis doesn't help; I love doing costume make up but my hands get tired after a while, lol. I wish you luck in re-creating the look, and if you do it with this tutorial and are able to make it look bomb, I give you massive kudos!

Yes I'm late with this comment- love the tutorial. I've always wanted to cover my brows, as the idea of shaving them off makes me.cringe and moat mornings I won't have time to draw them on!
thank you for the lesson!! the video went from you wiping away excess powder to you having a very white, thick, liquid-looking layer over the one brow. did you add more layers of the white powder to it or did you use a white concealer or maybe something else? SOS
Of course! I used Kryolan's TV Paint. Stick in TV White over the top of the powder to block the colour away, it's a super thick full coverage greasepaint just to remove the colour :)
Try a couple of layers, pack baby powder onto them once the glue is dry. Brush away excess, then do the final layer of glue (where you moisten the glue) and then add another thick layer of powder while it's still wet and allow to dry before brushing it away! :) Thinner brows can be really really stubborn to glue down if the hairs are shorter!
Look I got thick eyebrows and even for me. 50 coats don’t fix it. No matter what i do hair still shows I just fucking shaved my eyebrows and fucked them up bc of this
As a drag baby alien thing, this has been fucking amazing, i for some reason have ben cursed with dark untameable brows and this has got them to behave more than any other method 🩷
how’d you get to completely block out the color of your eyebrows ?? one of them is whiter than the other, did you apply anything more than powder at this point ? also thank you, the instructions are really clear :)
