Another full-circle wedding for us that had us feeling giddy and inspired! Alex grew up with Jake and we are definitely seeing more and more how knowing someone inspires us and helps us make the best films. I already had his music basically picked out beforehand and we could totally visualize what film they would love before we began. I truly think this video does the best job we have on showing our couple's personality but enhancing all the moments so the memories will last forever in the best ways (and angles).
We began the wedding weekend going on a hike with the best lighting we could've asked for. Shoutout Indiana for being so much prettier than we could have even remembered!!! We then got to join in on the rehearsal dinner and woke up on wedding day to run with the groom. How fun is it to show so much more than just the cinematic, perfect moments :) We then picked up on the fact that Laura's dad had his camcorder with him all day and he kindly let us use all of his footage and it made the best opening we could've ever shot. Our first time seeing and showing the moment right before walking down the aisle. Love!
We hope to do more elopement, multi-day wedding events because this truly was so much fun. Best wishes to The Rankins.
