BEG was sooooo underrated!! Deserved SO SO SO much more recognition! Specially with this song!!! BRAVO! It’s been years and this is still one of my favorites!!! I miss old K-pop A LOT!
0:58 Gain - main dancer, maknae 1:17 Narsha - lead singer, varierity person 1:23 JeA - main singer, leader (she actually chose the BEG-members herself) 3:16 Miryo - main rapper, composed 52 songs herself (my bias *.*) Fandom is called Everlasting. :-)
this song deserve soooooo many more views. I wish kpop would bring back that kind of high quality instrumentation... the 4th gen makes me think of fast food music
Pros and cons with each gen. I feel like 4th gen as a whole finally found their kpop sound and they definitely dress better but the quality is low. While 2nd gen had better quality they often looked and sounded like rip offs of western artists at the time.
+Antoinette Gabrielle like everyone in Kpop... but they have sex appeal, they aren't acting like the popular idols, they made their own style and they act natural.
they slayed so much in this one that my jaw dropped just watching them serving cvnt.... you wont get music like these nowadays so im happy i get to listen to music that fits right up my alley
This mv and song goes deeper than their other songs. Is about human liberty and dignity. Issues and topics that made South-Korea the country they represent today. Never take democracy and human rights for granted. Call me crazy but that is exactly what this mv/song is tryna convey. As always, another masterpiece of BEG 😁
Ikr, especially when all of this is going on in the world with also palestine, sudan, myanmar, haiti, congo, afghanistan, bangladesh and other countries...
i still don't get why they are so underrated... maybe because they are old? but hey they are like wine... better when its more older... hehehe i just love them so much T.T
Roger Rogerick I know this was posted two months ago but I felt the need to reply... They're underrated because their agency can't manage them for shit. They've been active for like 10 years and they still barely have any merchandise and only held one concert, not to mention their comebacks keep getting post-poned, they've only had two comebacks since 2009 (Sixth Sense and Kill Bill). The only reason why Ga In is doing well as a solo artist is because her solo activities are managed by another company. So yeah, NegaNetwork sucks. I hope they finally get treated right, the members are getting old and probably will want to retire soon or something :c
ZePomVerte yeah and it doesn't help the fact that there was a rumour (that thank God was false) about then disbanding, it kinda of made me realize like you said, they are getting old and they would want to make a family, etc, it sucks actually because all four of them are REALLY talented and it's kind of bad that only gain stands out :/
They're actually not underrated, they're regarded as one of the most respected girl groups in the Kpop industry for their age and talents. They were considered top tier around 2008-2009 along with Wonder Girls, The Grace, and SNSD. This song, Sixth Sense, was one of the highest selling songs in Korea in 2011. The main reason they seem underrated is because of their small (but extremely devoted) international fanbase. They're well known in South Korea.
+MEvox honestly speaking snsd is no where near as talented as BEG. Yes snsd is popular but when it comes to talent BEG all the way.so yeah dont even compare snsd and beg in the same sentence NOOOOO
meowishkat I wasn't really comparing them, I was just stating how they were both considered top tier (in terms of girl group ranking and popularity) a few years ago. Talent-wise, BEG is for sure a lot stronger in the vocal department AND they write their own music and help come up with their concepts.
People forget that BEG helped give Kpop fans a definitive alternative to candy, cute and sweet idol groups. I'm pretty sure I would've gotten sick of Kpop if all it offered was sugar and spice and everything nice! 😂 I'm eternally grateful to them and groups like them for this and the path they helped pave for other groups that followed them.
even they might not "that" popular nowadays, but I think today's kpop boy/girl band should learn a lot from them. they got voice, power, and strong image
B.E.G. will not be shackled by the "traditional female role". "We are stronger than that. We will not be denied our desires and we will conquer all that you put before us. We will take what we want, make it ours and leave the spoils. Our voices will be heard. Louder!". Gayoon...
This came out when I was in 8th grade, and for an English project we had to do a presentation on a person or thing that we like. So I did mine on BEG. We were allowed to show a video about our project, and I asked her if I could show one of their music videos. I gave her the link to the video a couple of days before the presentation and told her to watch it to see if it was okay to show to my class. When I was about to start the presentation I asked her about the music video and she said it was fine. So I finish my presentation and start the music video. At exactly the 1:00 mark she screams that it's inappropriate for school and scrambles to shut her computer off. It was so embarrassing and I was basically harassed about it for the rest of the year by other students. Luckily it was the last couple of weeks of school.
+hallyuniverse I know how you feel. I did the same thing on JRock in 8th grade and my teacher IMMEDIATELY screamed and turned off the projector. This was like....13 years ago too. Nice to see that the education system hasn't changed all that much since then.
+hallyuniverse LOL, when I was in my 10th grade we did a dance collaboration of Hyuna's Change, and those english students saw us dancing said that was inappropriate and slutty, guess they dont take the dance move as a move but something suggestive.
I read somewhere that Korean girl groups are on the rise nowadays. Then I wondered why the hell BEG is not one of those groups. They got talent, visuality, performance impact and they carry a wonderful message in their music. But then I knew.. They're not a "girl group." They go beyond gender and boundaries, they're not afraid so people fear them. They're amazing and I love them. BEG all the way!
Just watched their live performance of this song and they really are flawless. When they hit those high notes I got such goosebumps, the true definition of talent.
Miryo kills me every time she raps, in this mv she looks like rap goddess, this woman is perfect, even now after 4 years she is just a dream girl, perfection.
beg it's one of the most famous groups in korea, they are just a little forgotten because they take a lot of time to release a new album, but abracadabra made them legendary
Chucha Mehdaoui. To clarify, the numbers of views or being under a popular company(JYP, SM, or YG) doesn't always relate to quality content. They're too many underapraciated artists in small labels the whole kpop world is missin out!
This song is not popular among you guys "International fans" but it's fucking legend to koreans😬 so what about using 'kpop newbies' or something instead of kpop world?🤭
Definitivamente uno de mis discos favoritos de principio a fin ,lo he escuchado miles de veces y aun me sigue gustando como el primer dia que salio Sixth sense..
I still think BEG is well respected in Korea, even if they're not given as much recognition as they should be given. They've lasted for six years, breaking the five year barrier that plagues even the most popular groups. While two, Gain and Narsha, appear on variety shows and dramas, the other two members focus more on music production and I respect them for that. I just want this group to continue making great music and meaning MVs, even if they don't become as popular as other groups.
