Barun Jena Only North Indians use potato for everything, South Indian dishes are full of varieties. That does not mean they won’t use Potatoes at all but not as much as Northies!
@Abhilash N few dipshits like you does not accept the diversity of india and thinks it makes you sound cool by trolling own people! Go get life first you jerk.
Whenever something is said wrong about white rick gets a bit offended,,which is fine But korbin is really a legend,,,how he laughes out loud in those parts are amz
Y can frame it better you know. Should talk about them forgetting their food ofc they love India but they love their food and country too..do not compare
@@avdost4763 human. Because I can totally see u getting butthurt when someone reacts negatively about our culture and food. Do not make this about ego bro -_- . Who r u to tell me lmao don't gimme this shit ....if u may tell me what is wrong in what I said and we can discuss and debate like gentlemen. Frikin douchebag without identity who likes to pretend to be a channel he isnt
Do not take it to the heart it's just that western food lacks the flavour palate and tastes ...Bland to eastern people but some of the dishes are excellent obviously
I’m an Indian and love mashed potatoes. DELICIOUS. I’ve eaten plenty of Indian potatoes. Just making something spicy is not good cooking. Western cuisine is delicious with very simple ingredients.
@@saddha1 I also have tried mashed potatoes. It was so metallic they don't even add salt. I prefer my Indian food any day. I think people misunderstand spicy for hot. The food can have spices like coriander and cumin to make it tasty. It need not have red chillies or green chillie and burn your tongue
@@arcy63 Lol.. I was the one who pointed out the spelling mistake.. I am a North Indian. 🙏 thanks for putting all north indians into the same slot. Well, I have been staying in south India for around 10years now and their accent is different. Their grammar is not on point. Let's sit and debate on who speaks and writes better english. 🙄 I can understand commenting on something, but how some people manage to diss others without any logic is so amazing🙄
@@ishanidey2804 so while vouching for north indians you diss south indians😂 "their accent and gramar is not perfect" ahahaha Who is their here? Oh let me guess their is them from south india right? Whose "accent and grammar is not perfect" ?
@Teringventje I think you should once watch BuzzFeed video of white people trying Indian food . Then you will realise what Indians feel like . Especially after the Pewdiepie vs T series thing happened , Internet has become so toxic against Indians . One month ago , I made an account on 9Gag and on Day1 I had to delete my account because on every India related thing Bobs and Vegana , Shit on streets , snake charmers etc were spammed by foreigners .
@Teringventje It was a parody video that is why they did that . They even gave Parsnips and Kale to them which are straight up vegetables . I understand what you are saying and respect that but have a look at BuzzFeed who made countless videos which were not even a joke . They gave Hajmola (which is a digestive pill ) to their Testers and they called it chemical farts and what not . Just relax this Internet is offensive and disrespectful to every one .
@@das4014 no offence but butter milk cheese is the worst type of fat I've ever eaten. if you really wanna know what wonders one can do with potatoes , try Indian food.
I have only seen mashed potato and mashed banana as a food for babies when they have started diet other than milk. I know western people eat mashed potatoes but I can never understand it.
@Drink Water I never said it's bad, I just said I don't understand it as a side dish for me. There is nothing to get so offended, it's just a cultural difference which I was pointing out. We use it only for babies, not grown ups. And keep a check on your language. Nobody asked you to read this conversation. If you don't like the conversation here then stay out of it. Even western people gave wierd reaction to a lot of dishes we love, but we are not saying anything. We know they can't handle much spices and give such reactions and we can't handle such bland food.
Aloo is the Hindi word for potato. One of the guys also calls broccoli as green 'fulgobi'. Fulgobi is the Hindi word for cauliflower. You are right about potatoes being universally popular. We used to carry a bag of raw potatoes to camping, roast them in the campfire (like marshmallows, but a lot longer), peel the skin and eat. They were like heaven, particularly with beer. Got to start camping again...
Indians also like mashed potatoes but with Salt Chaat masala Green chilli Cumin powder Tamarind chutney Green chutney Curd Sev Coriander, etc It's called Aaloo chat! 😅😂
I love them both. But what i really appreciate about Korbin is how easily he takes jokes as jokes , unlike Rick who seems to take offence easily and its so vivid in his expressions.
Hey... i love mash potatoes especially with gravy or butter. My mother cooks broccoli with spices. I LOVE IT. Here is the recipe. 1) Fry onions and garlic for 2-3 min 2) Add cumin powder, coriander powder, tumeric powder, salt and cook it with onions and garlic for 1 min. 3) Add chopped tomatoes for 3-5 min 4) Add brocolli. Cover with lid. Cook 10-12 min. 5) Put Coriander and chilli (If you want to).
Biharis in India eat mashed potato (Aloo Chokha). Mashed potato is mixed with a tinge of mustard oil, salt and sometimes onion. Rice dal and mashed potato (chokha) :)
This reaction this is literally what happens when ur Indian.....😂😂😂that's why Indian always keeps red chilly powder or pest with them when they out of country 👍
Welcome to the youtube world of #JusReign, tons of quality content to react to this very underrated/undersubscribed youtuber from Canada. Some of his popular videos - Desi Parents series, Punjabi Christmas Albums, What if DJKhaled was Punjabi, He also has produced parody music songs. Thank you to the stupid baby for introducing, if Korbin didn't knew already of JusReign. This guy is legendary
even in some states of india peoples used to have mashed potatoes...but they add some other food materials to taste it even better..... love from india....
We Bangali people eat mesh potatoes often. The basic version is freshly chopped onions and green chili. But we also do so many spice variations in it. Several roasted spices, for example roasted sun dried red chilies and several other roasted whole spices.
Well I'm with you Rick.... I love mashed potatoes..... But yeah try adding a little bit of Indian masalas to it..... (Or you can try it with Rice and Dal)....
Took 4 or 5 patato Slice the patato in parts(three long slice of one medium patato) wash them ,hot 2 tablespoon mustered oil in pan add some cummen seed red chilly, little chopped ginger asfganda in it just sato and then add trurmric salt some spices ,sato for one minute then add sliced patato in pan , cover with lid . Heat for while till it whole cooked and golden brown ,garnish with chopped green coriander leavs Now taste it you would forget boiled meshed patato
Watch Kareena kapoor khan's any movie trailers today It's her birthday like " Heroine", "Ashoka", " Aitraaz", "Ra one " or any song "tere meri kahani" (akshay, kareena),"High heels)"bole chudiyan" 🙏🙏🙏
5:02 bruh u guys missed so much so many times while laughing out loud . i would suggest that whenever u guys laugh, rewind the video for 10 seconds so u don't miss anything
Rick acting like no one can dislike those abominable mashed potatoes. When my son was 5 we came to UK. He stopped eating potatoes in any form after eating mashed potatoes in school. The family had to cure him from the phobia by serving him samosa everyday when we went back. So for 5 years he didn’t touch potatoes because of the blessed mashed potatoes.
Ok, so i used to think that mashed potato literally means just boiled and mashed potato, that itself is just an ingredient for many Indian dishes but reading the comment section I found out there is milk and butter and gravy involved, so maybe mashed potatoes aren't as boring as I thought they would be.
If you just walk down the street, in India, every household makes seasoned potato stir fry. .. it tastes different at every home... various modifications
We have aloo bhartha = mashed potatoes here which obviously has spices and fried onions, mustard seeds and sometimes slightly cooked in clarified butter.
Do one thing,do a video on different potato recipes from India. Aloo means potato "Dum aloo","kashmiri dum aloo" "masala aloo" , "aloo gobi(cauliflower)" and must is "aloo ki paratha" and have aloo bharta too. Note: Korbin if you do a video on this tell the restaurant to give mild spice so that you can enjoy too. Coz some of these recipes can be quite spicy for you. Rick please don't be hurt by such videos. All the dudes in the videos were Punjabi and punjabi food are mostly of vibrant colours, rich and spicy. So to them the looks of the food goes first..and punjabi food if you remember Chicken butter masala are rich and full of spices. So simple dishes usually don't attract them no matter how much tasty they can be. 😊😊 Lots of Love to OSR

just FYI, the people in this video were Indian, but from a region called Punjab. they are referred to as Punjabis. they speak Punjabi and often follow Sikhism (which can easily be seen by their turbans). Love your vids and my Professor looks exactly like Korbin 😂
