@@DCOutdoors they are super visual predators so it’s hard to get them to hit your lure before they notice something isn’t right. I use light line 6lb test mono and super small snap swivels or no snap swivel. Then you can do little tricks like reel in a bit faster so they hit your lure before they get a good look at it lol I get skunked often or hook a few and watch them all jump out and shake the lure.
