I found this fish today while doing my regular morning check on the river conditions. He was tucked in close to the edge, eating ants and rising non-stop. The light was very low and in between snapping 2500 still photos I thought I'd film a short clip to show those unfamiliar with ant falls, just how crazy they can be.
We've had black ants all day for the past week with the regular termites occurring most afternoons in varying numbers. The fish are now looking up and feeding well which bodes well for the 'real' terrestrial season ahead.
Ill try and add some more vids in the coming weeks. I have never used my still camera to shoot video (never even read how to do it) and so I should be able to get some better results once I learn how to use this thing properly.
