I'm not normally keen on the laminated guns but not long bought the 525 game laminated and honestly it shoots lovely can't fault it weight is nice and it's durable. Can see it's not every one's cup of tea but in terms of durability and quality it's there I think 😀
I lived in South Africa. I loved the look of this Laminated gun. Wanted to get it with a passion. Then spoke to shooters in Europe and they said way to heavy. Some of them replaced stocks back to standard stocks.
Great review Matt ! Would it be possible for you to do an in-depth review of the Blaser F3 professional 32"? It would be great to hear you're thoughts on it as you're reviews are very in depth technically and through ;)
Cynergy owners might like this gun for its balance. I tried the 525sl and loved it and bought one. I went to try the laminate Game version (30”) and it did feel quit different. I wouldn’t say it was bad handling it was just not what I was used too. Having said that I would love to try one in a 28” version. This is just my opinion but one of best value Game guns out there is the fixed choke MK60, it handles lovely in 28”
Great video matt I really wanted the 525 sporter laminate but hate the snable forend! If it had the same forend as the game version it would of definitely been getting put in the cabinet
Mix and match maybe? (joke😅) When it comes to schabel forends - you're not alone, we have always have plenty of semi and beavertails in stock so people can easily replace.
Great review but for me a bit disappointing. At my age I probably shouldn’t like this gun but I do and I have seriously been thinking of getting one but 8lbs would be an issue. I love the fact that they’ve got rid of the “beak” and if it had the round Prince of wales grip it would be in the cabinet now. Someone else on YT stated it to be 71/2 lbs which for an all purpose all weather pigeon and occasional clay gun sounded spot on if you are a 525 fan which I am. Another rethink🤔 I suppose🤷♂️.
@@nathantiffany8374thanks for that - the few reviews I’ve seen of this have been very positive and the odd negative reaction seems more to do with following tradition particularly with regard to a game gun. I’m still in the market for a new gun so this one goes back on the list.
