There's mixed feedback for this video, and honestly I feel like that's fair enough. Instead of continuing to reply to comments about us smurfing vs. low elo players, I will pin this comment here. Both of us love playing together, and our viewers ask us to play duos on a daily basis. To finally make a duo project happen (which we can't do on our main accounts since duoing isn't possible in Master+ anymore) we spoke to Riot and loaned accounts from them. We would both prefer playing vs Challengers and pro players, but that's not possible unless we play alone. We don't have bad intentions, we're just two friends wanting to play League together and this seemed like the most logical way to do so. We have been placed in smurf queue after a few games and hopefully will only be playing against other smurf accounts from here so we don't ruin the experience for low elo players. There will be videos from all parts of this project for one simple reason: I rarely get to create content with NoWay, and I want to use the opportunity to create videos with him while I can. Usually there's a lot of banter and fun conversations that I'd love to share on my channel. Hope you understand!
don't mind the ill fated comments. besides I enjoy thrse videos, becaise when you die I think "wow, a silver plsyer killed him, maybe I have a chance too" dxD
Please don't stop the project! It's been a blast watching you and Noway play together and the fact that you requested a loaned acct from Riot proves that you don't have bad intentions with this. Much love Mr. Broxah
@@kamiltylus bc nobody is trying in non ranked, only trolls. There is just no fun in non ranked. I double that any acc over platin playes non ranked, so the woulnt even get high elo lobbys
Agreed. And they do that to play against non-Smurfs and stay out of Smurf queue. At least broxah and NoWay are in Smurf queue and playing against mostly smurfs
As a silver player myself, I wouldnt mind losing to better players. what DOES upset me is when my teammates int or are just really bad. but yea i wouldnt mind getting wrecked by a pro player every once in a while.
I honestly feel like some silver/gold players can be this good mechanically, but then just lack in things like map awareness or objective priorities instead. Like sure, they can beat people in direct fights, but likely get caught off guard and in unfavorable positions a lot instead
Broxah being surprised Silver players are this good is funny. Honestly, most players fall into Silver and have pretty damn good mechanics. It is consistency, mental, and macro decisions that make the difference between low and high elo in many cases.
as a gold 4 (peak gold 2 in s10) myself, I can say that each year it gets harder to climb, I see the only difference with silvers/golds to plat+ is that they tilt too much and give up games too easily (but they obviously don't ff, they prefer to make everyone suffer for 25~30 mins)
Honestly, the Soraka play at 13:37 seems to me like they're definitely higher elo than they look. Gold and below definitely do not try to block Rengar R with a ward.
What somebody else in the comments said goes for me too. In my elo, Im a very dominant top laner. I wouldnt mind being humbled by a pro player, I would consider it an honor. What DOES legit tilt me is when team members, int/afk/rage/troll because they dont get their way or they dont care. In addition, this also shows what tilts me about the video coach curtis put up about being in bronze. Obviously low elo players arent the cream of the crop, but we arent as bad as we used to be. Even if you consider Broxah is just vibing and having a good time, hes still a Worlds finalist and these guys are making decent plays in bronze. Pretending that people at that level are always just crap and dont even know the basics is never useful for educational content.
I think the point of the curtis/neace videos were more focused on the body of the post rather than the bullet points at the top. It was more to show that the core concepts of fundamentals, based around playing solid and consistent *does* work. Which is true, the reddit posts uses neaces games winning based on macro as the citation point of why the tips about playing safe/solid arent good, which is a bad metric based on the fact that neace isnt playing with these make believe rules in his head and is almost assuredly throwing caution to the wind often because its low elo and then often coming back by shot calling or something. If you don't make mistakes and just play solid, get your farm, punish mistakes, and play off whats happening on the map you *will* climb, as long as you are actually doing it and not just trying to.
Actually there are a lot of Silver/Gold players that can play mechanically well and even would fit into higher plat in a 1vs1 fighting. Problem with them is they can't perform past their laning phase, have no plan past minute 15 and start lacking gold and exp due to poor wave management. Source: I was one of them
The game and players always evolve. I haven't played LoL long enough but in Overwatch today's Diamond players would probably be solid masters in the first couple seasons and Silver players today would be plat back then
dude dont worry about the couple of sour apples in your comments. Smurf que will set you guys against diamonds in no time and it should be a privilege to verse pros in solo in silver. Its like getting to play basketball with Lebron james. Sure you never had a chance of winning but it was a memory
Thats a douche statement..."be glad to have the oppurtunity to better your shit life by being in a lobby woth soneone famous... you might not even know" cmon dude
People complaining about these 2 smurfing when it literally doesn't matter because of smurf queue. I leveled a new account to play ranked and those silver games are harder than my main account games because everyone is just smurfing
honestly as a low elo jungler id be so happy to bump into these guys and get smurfed on just to see how I match up and how their macro goes. Until everyone on my team flames me for losing vs a pro player in jungle lol
I always find it hilarious when people flame me in chat now as a jungler. Like it’s genuinely almost a compliment. Almost like them saying you’re doing great. I had a garen a few days ago just typing “shit jungler” every time he got into a fight. He didn’t seem to notice the entire team was fed in landing phase
@@BroxahLoL Remember that you get movement speed when you use your empowered abilities. The more movement speed you have the further you can run out of a bush and jump. That's the main thing I noticed that you never used that mechanic to get to fights faster or get a far jump on someone :D
I play in this elo currently trying to get out after coming back to the game, I think it would be great to tell those in the game who you are at the end. I have always thought what it would be like to play with/against top tier players
IDK why, but this noway fella reminds me one of Sp4zie's friends from the good old days of troll league content. BTw, have you considered playing flex instead? It might work out better than normal duo.
You should legit make tags of all the players in both teams so people can find themselves if they ever search their names on yt :P Dont know if its a major hazzle but hey, would be fun for viewers and so on :D
Everyone says that you cant complain about your teammates when your jg, but when they feed the enemy jg 6 kills in 3 and a half minutes, the enemy jg lives in your jg and now youre screwed and get flamed. Thats bronze for you
as you showed in the video, the players in that game were all between bronze and silver, you cant assume someone is a smurf just because they didnt play many games.
There's a reason I'm stuck in silver. They've only gotten harder to play against over the last year, and I am a support main, so I have no influence over whether I win the game or not. I can dominate all engages, double or triple the vision score of the enemy support, but at the end of the day I just lose because nobody listens to my pings and nobody has macro knowledge. Not to mention the fact there's so many smurfs... Getting out of silver is just a matter of luck, you don't start climbing until plat. Seriously, 16:47 just sums this elo up. You can have challenger micro, it doesn't matter, you will get hit by some random ashe ult out of nowhere and jumped by an assassin and just die. Meanwhile challenger players would be holding onto their ashe ult for a team fight, or to escape, or firing it into the dragon pit. You're (anyone over silver) higher rank because of better macro knowledge, performance consistency, and in the case of gold - luck, not because of your technical skill.
I don't mind being stomped by smurfs because it only proves that I still have to improve, but, I hate afks and trolls, because they ruin winnable games.
Dont mind bad comments here Broxah you are having fun with a close friend and the content is hilarious and good. Personally if I wouldve found out I got smurfed by a pro play I woulda thought it was cool especially if i wouldve got a kill on you or any of my teammates for that matter haha! cheers!
As someone who is actually in this trash Elo, let me assure you, getting smurfed on for the tenth time in a row, after losing more than half your games in the past month, with absolutely no input of your own because your teams are consistently inting their own lanes, and you're always getting the non-smurf jungler, no, you wouldn't "think it was cool". I've played against master+ supports before, I can destroy them in lane and at macro, that doesn't get me out of silver. As a support player, I'm stuck to the luck of the draw until I can get to plat to begin actually climbing, or I need to just go spam mid/jungle until I can get out and play the role that I'm actually good at. Smurfs are nothing special, there's loads of them, and I'm sick of them. I wouldn't mind if EVERYONE in the game was playing at their level, then I could actually have influence.
Playing devil's advocate here but wondered what your opinion on how smurfing impacts low elo players? I mean everyone does it and some people have loads of accounts... But facing a pro player as bronze must be tough right? Isn't smurfing something that impacts the game a lot and helps feed the frustration in players earnestly trying to climb?
hope these smurf games arent gonna be the norm for the channel (can't catch streams cuz of timezone diff) because it's not personally enjoyable to watch Mr. Broxah dunk on low-elo players.
Smurf games will be used for videos here and there throughout the next month, it's the only way I can duo with NoWay4u and many viewers enjoy watching us play together. Expect a mix of videos with duos and soloq on my main account for now, then will go back to only high elo stuff when our duo project is done.
@@BroxahLoL Cool! I really do enjoy the high elo stuff, but totally get the need for fresh content. Just honestly jaded by other league creators (especially prev high-elo ones) turning into low-elo stompers for videos.
highelo league is just rly boring atm, the meta is stale as fk since a few months and u only see the same 20-30 champs every game. i think duo-smurfing with the main focus on for fun gaming and entertainment with noway is the better alternative imo. also when they enter smurf queue games will be wild...
trust me most of them are not smurfs there is a HUGE quantity of silver-gold players who get banned and start over😂 i returned to the game recently using 3 accounts at the same time "one for each champ i play" right now i am plat on the 3 and i did start on silver. mechanically silver players and gold players have become much better than ever before. i see many gold - plat players mechanically plays as good as master players but they suck with complete basics and fundamentals . you know like vieger split pushing top 😂😂
I just had an idea Broxah my new BFF: Let's make a new series where you give ME a high elo account and I play some ranked with you and your friends. Basically high-elo smurfing. Let's see how much fun you and the gang will have, shall we :)?
It's a loooong time since I played LoL. It was just a coincedence that I watched this video^^, I just wanted to see what happened in last 5-6 years in LoL. I was Gold, but I had to play a lot against Platinplayers, because of our team. There are 2 options, the first is the guys got better in silver or there are a lot of smurf accounts... I think there are a lot of smurfing accounts.^^ That's one of things, why I will not play again, the other thing is, there are a lot of toxic players. I played jungler, I was always the guy who was at fault. XD I think, that will never change in solo queue. -.-
As mentioned in another comment, this is the only way I can duo with NoWay4u since it's not possible on our main accounts. We're both hoping we'll start playing against high elo players soon!
The main reason for the FNC turmoil the last couple of years, in my fair opinion is Broxah leaving them. To me it looks like he was the glue that kept it all together. I mean Selfmade is a insane Solo Q jungler, but not a Pro level team player, Bwipo did a good job but had the same problem as he had in top, no need to explain that further, and Razork besides his Voli is just not on par, with the rest of the team. The last years I followed Broxah in the US, and it looked like he lost the love for the game, So its good to find him creating content now, and have some fun in the game
Most of them don't smurf, you guys are just pushing that idea because of your ego. Just play normal games, don't tryhard with 2 smurfs in a bronze game, that's just pathetic.
No one learns anything. You are just ruining the game for 8 players. Like an NBA player playing with high schoolers. The team they are on don’t learn anything watching him windmill dunk on everybody, scoring 80 points and the other team doesn’t learn anything cause their skill and ability is so much lower. Both teams should be focusing on the fundamentals instead of watching you dunk on them. Lost a lot of respect for you. Brutal
I have just started following you and liking your content for your skills and mindset. Always composed. So I looked on google and found out we share the same birthday! :D
I love your videos, but this one makes me sad. It is sad to see how former pro-player SMURFING in Bronze league with high elo premade. It makes new or low skill players frustrated to lose that hard in ranked. Such a shame that you bought new account to destroy low elo guys for content.
We're not intending on smashing low elo players for content. Duoq has been removed in Master+, and therefore we loaned accounts from Riot so we can actually play together for a while. Sadly these accounts start with a low MMR, but we're already in smurf queue after a few games and will mostly be playing against other smurf accounts from now on luckily. Don't accuse us of buying accounts (which most certainly isn't the case) and having bad intentions, we're just two friends trying to find ways to play together.
Im gonna be completely honest with u im bronze and i dont need broxah and noway4u there to feed my azz and tits off. Stop complaining they/I'm going to get stomped regardless. Bronze is litterally full of ppl who played the game long enough to know matchups. Theres very few ppl freezing waves or building waves to help kill opponents. Yes broxah knows all this but look at any low elo game. Its always alandslide and u sound like ur upset because its happened to u before? Get over it. Go watch a fundamentals video like i did. Actually try to learn the game before queing up rankd. Theres no excuse. Your basically saying don't make bronzies lose so badly. Which imo is very weak mindset. They have all the resources to get better. I have all the resources to get better but u know wat i do when i get stompd? Complain. Tilt. Lose mental give up on game. if i wasnt such a weak mental i d prolly be b1 again. Its too easy to learn. Every bronze player is ignorant or just playing a fighting game. Its not just about killing your opponent theres gold towers inhibs dragons jg mons. Like i don't understand why u/i would ever feel bad for bronze
saying silver/bronze players are bad :D i know more players that are better than both of you but dont care to play the game as much. Rank tell you nothing besides you spend too much time in the game.
