Ruthless 12 street I’m sorry about how my fellow Giants fans treated you. It’s just a minority of Giants fans that disrespect Dodgers fans. It gets more rowdy up top of he stadium. I remember being up top when a Giants fan took a Dodgers fan cap off and threw it down to the bottom of the first row. It reminds me of Brian Stow and how he was beaten by 2 Dodger fans who were hoodlums. It’s just 2 Dodger fans that were truly the minority of the all Dodger fans. I live in town with a good diversity of Giants fans and Dodger fans.

This is beautiful. The teams can go at it, but the fact that the fans and the Dodgers can sit back an appreciate someone's career for what they did disregarding which team the person they are honoring is on, is just beautiful to watch. Congrats to Bochy and GO DODGERS!!

Growing up in L.A. I always like Bruce Bochy as a manager and always wanted him to coach for the Dodgers. Throughout the years many guys have come and gone following Tommy Lasorda and when Bruce became available many, many years ago I was upset that SF picked him up. And here we are now, many, many years later and he's retiring having brought 3 World Series trophies to the Bay area and we're still trying to win our first since 1988! SMH I'll always wonder what could have been if Bruce Bochy would have agreed to coach the Dodgers... Happy retirement Mr. Bochy. Well deserved.

He's right tho, had it been Lasorda, no gift, just "glad to see ya go!" Being a Padre fan, Bochy was and is loved, very proud of all he's accomplished. Truly one of the good guys, to his core.

Dodger fan here since ‘77. Love the Dodgers, sorry it went through some bad owners, but glad we’re on the right path. Always loved the passion of the fans sorry some of them were animals, but always met great and true fans. Great rivalry and much respect for the competitiveness. That kind of thinking is medieval my man. The more competitive the NL west is, the better it is for the Dodgers. Also think about what was happening in the AL east in the late 90's. Clemens, Wells, Jimmy key, Boggs, Damon, Cone, Mussina all played for multiple teams within that division.

Yup and he has always disliked the analytics BS. And in a way that's why he is retiring as he has stated before he doesnt like were the game is going with juiced balls and analytics. We all know it's been a movement to bring in puppet coaches that have no say in the game and just follow the analytics and push out coaches like Bochy.
