But Carrington was amazing, it was the biggest split decision ever points wise, high speed tech ...id love to watch a diagram from above how they moved around the ring, this fight you could see was such a challenge for both fighters
These are some amazing kid boxers. Bruce is fast, has more experience. Both have amazing technique. Give Reshat a little more time to refine his moves and I'm sure he'll match Bruce in no time.
Everyone needs to relax, both fighters are good and to be honest I'm a Reshat Mati fan, but in all fairness I have to give this fight to Bruce. He was quicker and seemed to land more significant punches than Reshat. However, there is still a 2 year difference in age as Reshat is 17 and Bruce is 19, this just goes to show that for Reshat to be able to handle his own against an opponent who is deemed as one of the best young boxers in the U.S is just amazing. There is no doubt we have a great talent here, but he's still got a lot to learn.
+JJ_ALB I would say bruce is faster because he is older than reshat,but if reshat was 19,that would be a bit more different,but good to see that reshat is improved alot,and i hope reshat be a ufc champion when he grows up.
reshat style and skills are a little bit superior but he still needs to build up mussles when bruce started to increase the rythim the fight started to balance for him. Reshat needs a straigt fast jab to put distance. Bruce already has got a fast jab but lets see how it works with same old fighters. Good luck for both boxers. I hope to see reshat in the ufc.

bruce carrington is really great.....i think the 2 years help him because they are both developing fighters.....but i think both have tremendous amateur and pro careers ahead of them.
These two guys are pretty similar fighters. They have the same stance, similar movement and good bob & weave. The only reason Bruce won this thing is because he is faster and more confident than this guy Reshat. Reshat made terrible mistake when he closed his stance and became more vulnerable. But both of the fighters are too damn good and they will be big competitors to each other if they go pro.. And I hope they will :D

Straight 2 down the middle and right upper cut would have been perfect to throw at both of em. They have weak jabs and hands are always down. If they sat down on their punches and thrown more heavy hands the match would have ended early. Thats thats why blue corner won. He landed and threw more power shots
Think the difference I see here and say more recent with Reshat is that he attacks the body and that is what wins real fights. He has enough power to Crack a rib you can see it just feint the jab and cross arm block load up that lead leg and snap the hip. Land 4 of those and any fighters hands will not stay up. Body is dead you can kill the head.

personally don't think open palm head slaps should count but if the judges want to count those as hits then i guess this is the outcome you'll get. You are saying this about an individual who has been practicing boxing, mma, jujitsu and kickboxing day in and out for the past like 9-10 years or possibly more. To an individual who has won enough championships with a very low loss count. Like I said really funny comment lol. The way I see it Reshat did loose this match not coz of your so called' Wild Punches' but mainly coz Bruce was faster, defensive yet relaxed (but not too relaxed as Reshat) and more aggressive which is clearly seen in the way he delivers counter punches.
