Steve, I wish you would do a sit down video in your office with an order/spec sheet and walk us through the ordering process. Talk about the options and why one would (or would not) want certain options.
Peterbilt Steve when you do it, maybe you could talk about credit scores needed Vs. down payments Vs. interest rates. That's my biggest hold up right now. I'm getting my credit score up and saving up cash. I'm close to 100K now but I want to keep some in the bank while we learn the O/O ropes.
I love it. When I get my money I'm ordering this truck but with a longer sleeper cab from front to back, a 2 feet longer and with windows in the both bedside doors. I love it.
Its a very nice classic truck, good spec, not to shine, but all the trucker needs. The only thing is what that flat sleeper, can not stand up and stretch the body, the option is to sit or roll over straight to bed.
Steve, If possible in future vids, could you please explain the different APU and Inverter options that are available for these trucks. Thanks again for sharing another great build.
Looks really good, definitely no “hot rod” though, 565hp with that gearing ain’t gonna be nothing but a mirror speck after a real “hot rod” gets into the high side.
I am a big fan with the full fenders. Is there a way to have some kind of ramp. So driver can not break the fenders when a trailer a little low? Also since there is pin lights on the sides. Can pin lights also be put into visor. So they match the rest of the truck?
how much does something like this cost? Im looking to pick up a peter and start doing my own work to it but later have someone do the rest Just looking for a ball park guess with airride suspension so i can lower it for low ride
There was a time when you could, not sure anymore. You could just re-skin the door and the trim panel on the inside if the option is no longer available. I went back and looked at the passenger door on this truck, that window is huge compared to a 379.
There is no point to these extended stupid long chassis, they don't do anything for load capacity and just increase the turning circle of the truck, uesless.
That sure sounds like a jealous comment. The long wheelbase rides much better. If pulling a flat bed you can overhang long loads over the front. Many more reasons too. Learn before you criticize....
