Bruce was a sorts enthusiast who exelled in serveral icluding basketball ans skateboarding, his friends referred to him as "The Ox2 (DER OCHSE)
Bruce war eine Art Enthusiast, der sich in verschiedenen Bereichen hervorgetan hat, darunter Basketball und Skateboarding. Seine Freunde nannten ihn "The Ox2 (DER OCHSE)
Another tribute led by stating that:
"Ireland lost one of its very best Skateboarding legends last night. Bruce ´the Ox´Kelliher has left the building.
"One of the finest gentleman Ireland and Irish skateboarding had to offer.

The video material is from the time I met Bruce in Düsseldorf (Germany), that was 1996 to 1997 when we were skateboarding together. 8mm analog video recordings from back then. During that time we shot the skateboard video magazine DEALER part 3 and part 4.

Hi Benno. I have just stumbled across this video. There’s so much here of Bruce that I’d never seen before, and I thought I’d seen it all. It’s fantastic to see these clips, thanks for sharing. Yesterday was Bruce’s second anniversary and we all miss him terribly so it’s nice to find these clips. If you filmed this stuff from 1996 then Bruce wasn’t skating that long at that stage. He only took up skating in ‘92 or ‘93 in France when he was on work placement from college in Tralee. We grew up as BMXers and he was riding his BMX on a half pipe in France when he managed to demolish it. He couldn’t afford another one and figured a skateboard would be cheaper so he started skating at that late stage in his life, 19 or 20 years old. He made a lot of good, good friends, had a lot of adventures and travelled so much with a board in his hand. Thanks again for showing his love for Skateboarding and the happiness that was evident when he was skating. Kinds regards. Graham (Bruce’s Brother). ❤
