Finally we are here at the most iconic filming location seen in Bruce Lee's 1971 The Big Boss, Wat Siri Samphan a.k.a. The Big Boss Mansion. The Big Boss was Bruce Lee’s first major film. It was also the first film that made Bruce Lee famous in Asia and eventually the entire world. We travelled a few thousand miles to Thailand to view these filming locations and to shoot videos for all Bruce Lee fans around the world. what a wonderful post. I was studying Tae Kwon Do at age 15 when I saw Enter the Dragon and the other martial arts films were starting to hit the USA. I have now since been to Thailand over a dozen times. Right now, one of the ESPN channels is showing "Be Like Water", the kind of Bruce Lee documentary. Back in 1971,2,3 there was no internet, smart phones,etc. So when new things came around they were really really exciting. I still get motivated watching Enter the Dragon. Just the idea of some of those things being possible is stimulating. Fantasy, perhaps, but I admit I loved the TV show Kung Fu and would run home from boy scouts at 830 PM to catch it. I didn't know what it was. Luckily I learned about buddhism, and things on my trips to Thailand and take refuge in the good ideas of it

Yes, up until the mid 70s, martial arts enthusiasts were making nunchaku out of broom stick handles, and chains. They worked too. Even non practitioners were making them. Ahhh, memories. Despite todays tecnology, we always found things to do as kids back then. Check it Out! Ciao!!!

@@girl600podcast Lol. Absolutely! Glad it made your day. The 70s were great. People appreciated the martial arts movie genre, and its biggest stars back then to. The primary info access to them was through books, magazines, and posters. because the movies had to be released or rereleased in ttheatres. Legend and Icon status had to be kept alive in our minds, and daily conversation. There was no on demand, instant access to movies, and DVDs like we have today. Check it Out! Ciao!!!
