But yet none of them seen it. Of course they are going to say Bruce Lee they are Chinese and Bruce Lee is a Chinese legend. Do you you think they going g to say Chuck kicked his ass and destroy it.
Best Fight Scenes Ever - You want to do a good video you need to control the consistency of your audio volume. The audio level of this video is jumping like a jack rabbit
Bruce Lee has been in more real street fight than any of these guys. That was one of the reason he started training in martial art, to protect himself. That was why he train to fight for real, and not tournament or sport.
Should be but chuck needs to sell his brand and that means implying Bruce learned from him and not the other way around. But when you think about it… an Asian learning Marshal arts a white man is ridiculous
Jim Kelly was humble and a genuine martial artist, and he saw the greatness in Bruce. Whoever did not see the greatness in Bruce are not good fighters.
Very well said.. Jim Kelly was very nice himself... chuck ducked him in the ring.. i noticed... Who was NOT in Enter The Dragon as well.. WB felt John Saxon was a better fit or what🤔
3 hours, is... Well lemme tell you something. There are theories that Bruce died because he pushed Human capacities of doing exercises. He trained up to 10 hours a day. Google it up. He would sometimes ever train himself 14 hours every single day! I know it's unbelievable.
funny google and the doctors say otherwise. Swelling of the brain due to mixing a medication. And look at his train records as some are recorded and it's far from 14 hours a day lol.
real fighters never ever boast of what they did or what they went through or even mention any accomplishments. They just keep all those things to themselves, all for one reason.........respect
What you're seeing is one of Bruce Lee's students saying their teacher (Bruce Lee) was the best. In those days anyone who actually trained with real masters from Asia had a huge advantage over any American martial artist. This was before the days where the martial arts were opened to the west. In fact BL was one that they sent out to open the east to the west. You can't believe what anyone who worked with or trained with BL said because they were his students or paid to make BL look good. It's the same today, to some degree, masters who have studied with real legit grand masters in China/Japan are way more advanced than even the top MMA fighters and dojo owners in the USA. There is a big difference. But everything I've seen is praise from BL's students who were enamored with him and were his students. Just my take on things.
@@VenturaIT I’m so conflicted! Haha. On the one hand I completely agree with what you are saying about Lee’s students and close friends. They are motivated to exaggerate their teachers abilities and motivated to perpetuate the legend of Bruce Lee. Even if they’re not outright lying, they are spinning things to make Lee look more amazing than he actually was. On the other hand I can’t at all agree with what you are saying about Asian masters. Xu Xiaodong, a Chinese mma fighter and instructor has practically made a career out of beating Chinese kung fu masters in challenge matches. You can’t possible think there is some wizened old master in China or Japan somewhere that could beat top mma fighters. That nonsense only happens in anime and has never once happened in real life. Hoping I misunderstood you, but I mean, come on man.
Could be. But dead men don't talk so we will never know what the truth really is. Norris was a 7 time champion when he appeared in Way Of The Dragon. Bruce gave him all the notoriety. But Bruce was just so unbelievably fast I always wondered just what would happen if the two actually fought. They were friends so I really doubt that any fight would of been full contact. There would of been that red line that neither were allowed to cross.
Damn, never thought I’d say it, but I kind of just lost some respect for Chuck Norris. Whenever asked about Bruce, his answers never seemed consistent. To me, it seems like Bruce beat him, was the better fighter, and Chuck just never could accept it. Everyone else could admit that Bruce was one of a kind, but it seems like Chuck lives in this world where he was the “superior”. “I was a professional fighter, he wasn’t”, my ass.
@@concac314 well he never finishes the truth... Chuck was a professional fighter, Bruce was a professional master and actual fighter, and therefore might hurt someone because that brings out a killer instinct. Bruce's style was powerful and ruthless.. he could potentially disarm and cripple someone on the first counterstrike. Not point-for-point, dragged out, round-for-round, certain rules on where not to hit.. for Bruce fighting was not entertainment unless scripted in movies.
@@joseki6644 Bullshit. Bruce Lee NEVER fought anyone except Wong Jack Man and the outcome of that fight is in dispute. There is NO evidence he won a boxing tournament in Hong Kong. There is NO evidence he got into street fights as a teen. There is NO ZERO ZILCH NADA evidence of any of this stuff except hearsay and anecdotes from his pupils and admirers. Chuck Norris and Joe Lewis, both ACTUAL pro fighters, said Bruce was an interesting guy with some interesting ideas but that he was an actor NOT A FIGHTER.
Dilly Ak, It's sad that Norris after Bruce's sudden death took advantage of their friendship. What person in their right mind would be a student to someone they they thought they were superior to? that in itself says it all. Joe Lewis included.
Just from what I've seen from years of film, Bruce Lee would make Chuck Norris look like he's walking around in slow motion. Look at Bruce Lee's body control, speed, Rhythm and Power. No disrespect to Chuck Norris from what he accomplished in point fighting. I really don't think Norris could have touched Bruce Lee
I agree. I had an uncle who trained with both. He was the light skinned freckled face gentleman with the afro. Not Jim Kelly but the bigger stout guy often seen speaking of Bruce's old accomplishments. He witnessed Norris accidentally strike Lee one 🕐 and stated that Norris regretted that for the next 2 hrs left of their session of sparring. He said Bruce became cat like in perfect rhythm and overall coordination making chuck legitimately confused as to what is really occuring because Bruce Lee was like a bottle 🍾 of lightning ⚡🌩️ essentially. He was humble with Bruce forever there after according to my uncle. Bruce ultimately humbled chuck making him appear to be a much lesser opponent for him basically. He never told anyone but guys like my late uncle and Kelly both witnessed this as well. I believe dan inosanto also knows about this secret as well.
When the guy asked "But you didn't fight each other" and Chuck replied with a long, hesitant No, then throwing in the bit about being professional fighter, that was a sign he was not telling the truth.
No, that’s actually his honest reaction to the question. He felt he was a professional fighter and it’s implied he felt he was better. He later back tracked but often ur initial reaction is the truth.
@@fendergibs They all would definitely see who was better it's just nobody would talk about it because of respect and nobody bad mouthed Bruce Lee, even Chuck said I don't know who would win because Bruce could fight and was the real deal, this means Chuck knows Bruce could beat him, because anybody who sparred with other guys know they could beat them and even would say well he was good but he couldn't beat me, Chuck didn't say this. Chuck said well I don't know and this is admitting defeat.
dale lee I understand that’s what they said after the fact but Chuck’s initial reaction was “well I was a professional fighter”. That implies that he was at a different proven level, ie he fought for real and had a record. He also initially said “well he was good” Meaning that he was good for an amateur. And you’re right later said he’s different things but the initial response is telling here.
@@fendergibs Nobody speaks like this who's a fighter and are champions because of pride but when you understand who's better or can beat you then your humble and show respect and it isn't because Bruce has fans and is dead it's because Bruce could actually fight and was the real deal. I would never say as a Kung Fu fighter that someone could beat me that I know couldn't and that's a fact. If I understood someone could beat me I would admit it but would say well I needed more training and wasn't serious also his size and weight over me was a factor. Or we were the same size and he was just better. Chuck didn't speak this way.
@@stevo62ful : "Bruce was the best Martial Artist" ALSO Gene LaBelle. "I'm over 200lbs and much bigger but we would sparr for grappling in my backyard for 2-3 hours non-stop straight...he never ONCE let out a peep. He never breathed hard or got tired, And I was really cranking it" -Gene LaBelle. So yeah, there's that
Very well Documented, many places.one example,Bruce Lee a Warriors Journey!Fact Chuck Norris was Bruce Lee's student, to many facts out there to disagree ! Chuck Norris was a point fighter champion.Bruce Lee real fight with Joe Lewis,u tube. The first video I suggested is the one with his name in Chinese. So much information you can research.
@@scottcarroll9201 Bruce Lee defeated Chuck. Bruce Lee fought in street fights. Bruce Lee defeated Wong jack man. Bruce Lee defeated Jim Demile (street fighter and professional athlete). Bruce defeated Hayward (He defeated Rickson Gracie in Jan 13 1987) ,he hospitalised a stunt man for challenging him in a fight. So there are many real fight records for Bruce, but chuck had none. Case closed
It's amazing to me how Chuck is trying to go out of his way to be nice and diplomatic here and Bruce Lee fans in the comments are accusing him of being disrespectful. The fact is the only documented, proven fight Bruce Lee was ever in was against Wong Jack Man. And the only thing we know about that fight is that it did, in fact, take place. Every other detail about it is shrouded in mystery because everyone's accounts on what happened differ.
Well we also know that Lee publicly bashed Wing Chun after the fight and went to TKW kicking master Jhoon Rhee and Northern Praying Mantis teachers to learn footwork, high kicks and long range fighting. Instead of using a win to promote his new Kung Fu school in Oakland. The one he opened after moving from Seattle with is pregnant wife. We also know that Wong Jack-Man caught wing of Lee boasting about beating up a Chinatown "Kung Fu cat". And that China Pacific Weekly newspaper did an interview with him discussing the fight and Wong's victory. January 28th 1965 issue.
Correct but the majority of people said it was a rather prolong fight that ended in a draw. The majority also said Bruce initially went to the eyes as a cheap shot which was surprising given that they were both instructors. That’s a terrible example for students. A small sample on Bruce’s side said the fight was over in one minute? . Which do you think is more accurate? the more likely scenario is that the fight was prolonged and a draw. Why would the people on Wongs side say that if it didn’t happen? Rather they would say Wong won in 2 minutes. It’s more likely than not the reports from Wang side as well as other neutral observers were more accurate than Linda’s. It’s also more accurate given the skill level of Wong that was known in the community as well as Bruce’s, a prolong conservative defensive fight Is much more probable
@@stevo62ful Yeah usually haters they wait until he died they can say anything they want but when he was still alive those chickens shit shut their mouth.
Chuck told on himself at the beginning of the video, when he said he started training with Bruce for about two years in Bruce's back yard. If Chuck was superior to Bruce, then why would he go to his place for two years and Bruce never went to his place? My theory is Bruce was actually giving Chuck lessons.
Bruce gave Chuck lessons on technique that don't mean he can use it against him. Coaches give advice to football players but that don't mean they can do it.
Some of bruces students witnessed bruce and chuck sparring, Bruce left chuck red faced, as jim kelly said in his interview bruce was phenomenal and he knew these guys are all about protecting their reputation
Lmao Chuck is a humble man, i think he was not serious with Bruce, Bruce is good at taking down big slow guys who thinks size is everything, but Bruce weakness is he was too skinny and not strong even for his size, my money is on Chuck, i look at it like this Bruce was a fast moving baseball and Chuck was a fast moving bowling ball, he has the right amount of size and skill ot beat Bruce, he was just as fast, just as skilled. In his weight range Bruce was not at all efficient. But he was good at taking down bigger guys.
My friend Lonny, a lifelong martial artist who was big in the scene in the 80s, was privy to some of their sparring sessions. He said Chuck was virtually a human punching bag- and that nobody wanted to spar Bruce because his pulled punches still hurt too much. It's obvious from footage that Bruce is easily 100% faster, so I have no reason to doubt it. There's footage of his spandex shorts stretching when he kicks and rebounding. That kind of speed with 2 finger pushups... He was a mutant and no else had that kind of physical power, not even Chuck.
Joe Lewis said that Lee had natural powerful fast and strong twitchy muscle fibres and would hit as hard as a heavyweight! -size don’t matter. When you’re like that!!!
Chuck Norris tournament fights were not reality-based... judge's scored by points... Joe Louis was kickboxing a reality-based fight... however you just couldn't hit your opponent two hard punches were pulled!
Exactly it is called touch control. Bruce Lee didn't do half way fighting he went full contact to win. If he had wanted to enter tournaments he would of been undefeated
Edward Chaides that literally means nothing. Only way you know this is by actually being a martial artist. Because you don’t even know of the countless stories you find at gyms of people who don’t fight professionally or in tournaments who drop real pros. Shit happens behind the curtains there is actual badasses who find it pointless to compete. Bruce lee could have most definitely have been one of those people especially with his unbelievable speed
@@JoseHernandez-um6ux Stories don't cut it. This isn't Game of Thrones. This isn't make believe. Nobody's seen Bruce Lee in a fight. Chuck Norris has been in thousands of them. I'd put Mike Stone up against Lee as well.
Edward Chaides are you mental ? I wasn’t talking about stories of Bruce lee. I was speaking on REAL stories from CURRENT professional fighters not only for the UFC but for other orgs. Who talk about fighters that don’t compete but yet manage to WHOOP professionals
Chuck Norris doesnt compete anymore, so I dont understand why he cant tell people the truth now. Same with other fighters that are now retired and old, like that secret fight that happened between Bruce and that monk guy (where they recently made a movie about it)
Because bruce lee did not play by any rules. Hes the kind of guy that would bite off your ear if he was loosing in boxing. Hes the kind of guy to head but a man when he is down. He is a kick a guy in the balls who doesnt protect his balls because hes a professional fighter kind of guy. Bruce may be a legend but in a fair fight he was never in the same league as norris
Simple logic: When a student/disciple wants to learn, he seeks and goes to the teacher's place to learn from him, not the other way around. And the student (chuck) trained for 2 yrs, that a full course. Meaning, if he hadn't much to learn from someone, he wouldve probably only spent 6 months, being that chuck was already a master. But he underwent 2 yrs of training at Bruce's back yard. That tells ya the big gap between Bruce and Chuck. And by that logic, Bruce and chuck must've already sparred turning into chuck's defeat and accepting Bruce as a superior fighter he asked him to be his master. Chuck is the most ungrateful student a master could've had, and he had the best master. Denying his master, shame on you chuck :v
I do have a lot of respect for Bruce Lee, I think I know Bruce was a real deals, Chuck Norris is kinda guys who like to showing off and after Bruce Lee’s died Chuck Norris just say whatever he wants to...!!!
Well it would earn Chuck a huge amount of respect if he was to admit that bruce had the "edge" on him! nothing wrong in that, humility has a power all of its own--and chuck was a great world champion, that stands forever in the record books.
In the real world of fighting, sparring is just what it is,,,sparring not real whole fighting, or what we call, on the verge of make believe. But in a real fight, the better opponent wins always, not the closest. That why Bruce Lee insisted on real contact fighting, so you can know the difference.
Bruce was the best , he didn't need to complete everyone knew what the outcome would be ! And Jim Kelly was another one of the greats , Kelly was a humble man and you've gotta admire someone like that...
Bruce could have fought in more tournaments but he did not and so I think that is a real criticism. To be the best you have to fight the best and the best are not street fighters but prize fighters.
I have been a Bruce Lee fan since the summer of 1973. The only question I ever had after reading books and magazines on Bruce Lee was why didn't Lee ever compete. Lee trained with Chuck Norris, Joe Lewis, Mike stone, exhibitions.Fighting in the ring is very different from both. It's like Stallone not being a real boxer
My answer is, would you rather fight or make movies? Me personally? Movies, fighters fight to make money, not just for fun. Why Stallone didn't write a book? Why don't boxer come to Stallone to get pointers, but martial artist come to BL's house to get pointers and train. I believe Stallone has had fighters come to his house and train, but he paid them to come. Not to my knowledge, but I don't think Stallone ever went to a gym and challenged top boxers. I'm not being bias here just saying what I heard and know. I think 99% of fighters are either born in a fighting fam, they came up poor and thats all they know, or they have no where to go and thats the fastest way to make money and some became great. That's one of my biggest reason to fight in a ring.

martadoso9 For the money moron. Bruce lee wasn’t a dumb man he was very smart he used his extraordinary skill to get rich, made himself an icon in America and China and pretty much whole world.
I agree 110% ..Lee never competed PERIOD! Fighting in the ring (and not a choreographed movie aka Rocky) is altogether different. Not ONE PERSON has EVER seen Bruce Lee in a non scripted - non exhibition fight.
maby is protect his repotetion😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 chuck noris is slow fighter is not god deal i’m to fast or i sey very fast maby is genetic but i dont want to show you
The thing is that Lee actually sparred very little by some accounts. Norris has alternated between saying they never sparred and saying they sparred but never really fought. I take that to mean, they only did short, light type of sparring to work on technique, but it wasn’t competitive. That type of drilling fits with what Lewis said. He said Lee preferred to drill and that he “never saw him spar any of the top guys.” It’s telling that, for a guy who loved to film himself, we have no footage of him competitively sparring with anyone. Closest we get is that footage from his Long Beach demo where he spars against a student. But that was pretty clearly not a competitive match, and was done so that Lee could show off his technique. It was, after all, a demonstration.
bruce was so fast and he had his own style , no one could beat him including chuck. chuck went to bruce's house , not vice versa, and that says it all. chuck wanted to learn from bruce.
That is a very good point, who is Bruce Lee at that time. From Joe Lewis own words, Bruce Lee first approached him when he was going to his car, and Joe described the experience as going in one ear and out the other. It wasn't until he was sparring with Bob Wallace, that he noticed a major difference in Bob's form and style. Bob had revealed that he was training with Bruce Lee at that time and that is what got Joe Lewis into Bruce's tutelage.
@ Teachers can learn from students, everyone has something to TEACH. If you use common sense, you will see that CHUCK and JOE LEWIS were somebodies at the time they meet Bruce Lee. Bruce was practically a nobody, except maybe in the underground inner circle community of martial arts. So one must ask the question on why would Chuck & Joe waste their valuable time training with Bruce Lee !
Chuck was a competitive fighter at that time and can, and did, best Bruce in sparring on a routine basis. He wasn't the onyl one, read my comment above.
Glenda Grundyhart - NOBODY not even lyingeyes Chuckie sez any of that BS. Are you saying that a self-promotion machine, and soulless political shill, like Chuck - is trying to spare the FEELINGS of an opponent that he bested more than 40 years ago? A guy that has been dead nearly as long? Why? For WHAT? I f you think that Chuck Norris goes around leaving MONEY ON THE TABLE....well then you can't see HIS "TOTAL GYM" over his right shoulder, either then, right? I'm SURE Chuck would have run right to his PR team to get a release issued. Except he would rather continue to draft off of Bruce's 40 year old trailblazing. Chuck Norris ain't the BEST of ANYTHING or AT ANYTHING.
Wot the fuck are you on about? I wasn't saying he was trying to spare anyones feelings, but you show me one shred of evidence that suggests Bruce Lee was anything other than an actor! No denying he had qualities, but 'you can only judge a horse on the races its run' - Bruce ran none. Fact. My earlier comment may have been based on little fact, but theres as much to suggest im right as anyone else. At least Chuck competed at a professional level. Bruce just talked a good game.

there was an interview with Chuck Norris years ago, that I cannot find anymore. but in this interview, he talked about this one time he and Bruce were talking about each other's fighting styles and each one would say their fighting style was more effective and ultimately, they decided to spar in the hotel room. Chuck Norris admitted in this interview that Bruce quickly had Chuck backed into a corner within seconds. I can't find this interview anywhere but I know I found it once!
Chuck could never beat Bruce Lee. I heard a couple of recording's of back when Bruce was still alive. It says Bruce was Chuck's teacher. Chuck, why don't you just admit to it, the Bruce Lee was your teacher, and also he was better than you, clear your soul of the lie.
In a real fight against Brue Lee. I'm sure Norris would get his ass kicked. Bruce Lee was the Master and Norris was the pupil. Norris is no match for Bruce Lee.
Chuck Noris makes a point of saying he met Bruce in 1968 after he won the world championship. When asked if he and Bruce Lee sparred, Chuck Noris says “No” because he is a professional and Bruce was not; so they hit and kicked bags. Chuck was a professional in that he won the non-contact karate championship; Bruce was a full contact, real world, fighter. He used to compare non-contact matches as “shadow boxing”. He had no use for the idea of scoring imaginary points, based on “I could have hit you, and if I had It would have done this much damage.” In the second portion he’s asked what workouts they did; Chuck says “We sparred”. In a different interview he says he taught Bruce Lee to kick above the waist; but Wing Chun uses kicks to the head and upper body, so that’s not true. All these comments taken separately can be dismissed. But together they sound like an insecure ego laking advantage of a man who would have taken him apart when he was alive; but now that he can’t speak, he feels free to say anything that will make himself look better than he was in the real world. It’s a small man that does this.
I saw another old video without edition with Chuck Norris talking about Bruce lee, he shown respect for him, he said they worked together and he was a professional fighter and Bruce was not, he said they never went into a real fight. he also said both had respect for each other. Was very normal and still up to this days martial artist invite each other and train together, you can find videos of a young Van Damme sparring Chuck Norris.
CHUCK NORRIS IS A PROFESSIONAL MARTIAL ARTIST AND CHAMPION FIGHTER. BRUCE LEE WAS AN AMATEUR ARTIST AND ENTERTAINER. BRUCE LEE NEVER FOUGHT AT MARTIAL LEVEL. BRUCE LEE ENTERTAINED HOLLYWOOD AUDIENCES WITH CHOREOGRAPHED MOTION PICTURES. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN UNETHICAL FOR A PROFESSIONAL MARTIAL ARTIST LIKE CHUCK NORRIS TO FIGHT AN AMATEUR ENTERTAINER. A PROFESSIONAL MARTIAL ARTIST CHAMPION FIGHTER CHUCK NORRIS WOULD HAVE BADLY INJURED ANY AMATEUR LIKE BRUCE LEE. IT IS FORTUNATE THAT THEY NEVER FOUGHT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DISASTROUS FOR BRUCE LEE.
Thankfully, they gleaned so much from each other. The families ended up living not far from each other in Los Angeles, and kept in touch for years after Bruce’s death. Shannon Lee is really keeping the legacy alive, along with her mother. Keanu Reaves recently helped Shannon on a project “So You Think You Know Kung Fu”. Chuck has managed to stay current, and obtained his black belt in jiujitsu. I’m amazed he is nearly 80 years old!
I beleive Norris one time Sho Kosugi came to my school (he's a Japanese Master, made several Ninja Movies. He came to meet my Korean Master Chun Lee, they were very respectful of each other. I was told Sho wanted to enroll his son in our school. Norris and Lee are both Masters in the marital arts and so they were respectful of one another too.
Chuck teaching Bruce ? thats a good one. ive studied Bruce for years. ive seen Chuck fight. Bruce wouldve owned Chuck in a real fight. Bruce was too fast for Everyone. Read the books Bruce wrote, they are excellent books / teachings.
Jon T. Benn played Boss in The Way of the Dragon and is the only person believed to have straight-up asked Chuck who would win if he fought Bruce Lee. In the commentary track for the movie, Benn said: *** When I was having dinner with Chuck I did ask him: “If you and Bruce would be in a real fight to death, who would win?”, and he said without thinking: “Bruce of course. Nobody can beat him”. - Jon T. Benn ***

It would be nice if the scrolling text was worth reading. You can tell it's someone who doesn't have a grasp of the English Language. As far as why they wouldn't actually have a match or even a sparring session, to see who was better, after all we've seen and read about Bruce Lee, do you think He was even concerned about that? He was the greatest Martial Artist or at the very least, the most revered or the most famous, towards the end of his life. We've seen quite a few interviews where the person speaking said Bruce Lee kicked everybody's ass.
Thank You for that. Well done, well done once again. Chuck needs to be exposed by every proof available. He lie's so much about Bruce after his death. All of Bruce Lee's real friend's talk about how great Bruce lee was, and that he is still the best ever.
So being a point fighter makes you physically unable to get into a real altercation? i still think bruce lee is the best martial artist to have lived so far.
I am sick of this BS who cares if these two men fought or not. The truth is this they were both great fighters, they both have many talents however it is not business of mine or yours whether they fought each other or not. All of you have trust issues. Trust the man who was there not the man who says he was there but had no proof of being there. I am a 30 year veteran of Martial arts I don't have to prove how good I am. Why are you people so obsessed with who's better. No wonder the world is so fouled up everybody trying to better than everyone else and then you wanna protest in the streets for equality. Get A clue you clueless people and start using your heads for something else besides thinking because thinking ain't working for you.
30 years martial artist you say but do not understand competition. Why did you choose to study martial arts other than to defend yourself and learn the art of one to one combat? Any other reason, you could have studied meditation, tai chi. yoga, etc. The reason you, if in fact you did , for 30 years take up martial arts was to combat. The knowledge and assurance all the labor and training would reward you with a victory over your opponent by advancing in your skills. This is the same curiosity the people wish to know. It was not beating your opponent to a pulp but the challenge was who could perform better than the other by different style or physical dexterity and mobility. So what are you really saying? So who is better? you or the many you sparred against? 30 years, I'm sure you have reached master by now. Obviously the judges greatly considered who was best.
Bruce Lee fought for real in gang fights in Hong Kong. Master Lee didn't believe in "point fighting" which is a game of tag. Lee believed in "no holds barred" fighting with no rules!! He said fighting in tournament competition is like swimming on dry land. I am not taking anything from Norris. He is a great martial artist. But, Chuck, be a man. Acknowledge you asked Master Lee to train you. The late, great, Joe Lewis did & so did Mike Stone the karate champion who retired undefeated.
helo86 cmon man. Hahahaha Chuck Norris was way over matched in a real fight. Way over matched in a bar or the street against Bruce Lee Point fighting is like touch football Don’t you agree lol
But in the streets, you fight against 99% of ignorant thugs, in the ring, even with rules, you fight against a guy who live to give and take blows all day long, who works out his body to make it an armor... a couple of basic self-defense move are enough to take down 99% of the guys who aren't good enough to prove themselve on a ring, so they go assault people in the street... Make me laugh and tell me in his "gang street fight" Lee ever fought a guy who was as dangerous as a Chuck's or Lewis's fart... this just never happened.
@@simonbard3047, how about u? Would u train with a nobody? Is bruce or chuck delusional? Think about it. A karate champion wasting time training with a nobody?
What a bunch of crap these guys are trying to sell. If you believe them, then you believe that fairies live in your home. He was an actor guys, only a 3rd degree black and never fought it the ring. Do you know how many times chuck won the world title and what award he won? The highest award ever given to a non Asian. If you don't know you need to shut up. You don't know nothing about the arts.
Especially at that time, Bruce was trying to be extra nice to Chuck. He wanted to fit in to the American Society. Not that I wouldn't have accepted him right away. I would have, but there are some really arrogant jackasses and they can control the financial arena. Had Bruce wanted to, he could've totally humiliated Chuck. I respect Chuck and I am a huge fan of his, but he wasn't as good as Bruce. No one was or is to this day. I think Don The Dragon is very very good too. In fact, Don was probably better than Chuck. I personally seen Don beat the crap out of professional MMA fighter. I think Don is very underrated. He did compete, and he won the championship 11 times. I think maybe he is closer to being like Bruce, but even he never had the speed and/or power of Bruce Lee.
Bruce Lee's Gifts, Talents and Abilities in Jeet Kun Do MADE him an Actor... like "The Rock" (former Wrestler). The caption described him an "An Actor"... rubbish.. Chuck was "privileged " to TRAIN with this Legend.Bruce was the first choice to be the Star of "KUNFG FU" but David Carradine was chosen because of Bruce's Honk Kong's accent.
I don't know what to say. Personally I like both fighters as martial artist. I respect them both. Because they were for real. But Bruce Lee was my personal favorite. Then Chuck Norris. I wouldn't want to mess with either one of them.. They are legends. Both as Martial Artists and action stars..
Bruce Lee was trained by ip man amongst others before he made it to the US. Chuck norris is awesome but I doubt very much he was bruces master, I imagine they traded skills and sparred a lot and I think that's as far as it goes sorry to burst your bubble but do more homework
Where can I get the complete interview in which William Cheung and his son claim that from one of Bruce Lee's letters Chuck Norris was actually defeated by Bruce and became Bruce Lee's student? Is it from some bonus material on some DVD?
Lubos Hauerland If you do your research, you will see in the Washington Post newspaper.Bruce Lee a Warriors Journey, the one with 3 Chinese letters, also books , videos etc.
Lubos Hauerland Hello I saw it a few months ago on RU-vid but can't find it anymore... The thumbnail has a pic of chuck norris and the words exposed over it I really believe they were telling the truth... I respect Chuck Norris but William cheung states in the interview that Chuck did not want to admit it... to be fair they were all young and ego was present... now older u can see how chuck respects bruce bigtime
At 1:04 it was Chuck that did not want to go there and not Bruce Lee, Chuck is a bloody liar. Chuck knows he would get plastered by Bruce Lee and this is the real reason he did not want to go there, it would spoil the illusion Chuck has of himself (what a cry baby).
