Yes, it was, he was so fast that the cameras couldn't catch his movements, he had to do the scenes slower, he did absurd things that even today people doubt the veracity of the information, such as doing push-ups just using doubts , his legacy in martial arts is great and respected... 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
*** Nae, my lil' Geeezus, thou art wrong. The simple fact that Bruce disnae carry out his gesture or his blows in their entirety makes 'hem sterile and ineffective. So, nae valid results. The dynamics of his movement art nae executed in full, so his punches art nae effective. Normally, when he gives a Tsuki, his arm should penetrate the body of his opponent, 35 cm inside the stomach, as if his arm were passing through the body from side to side. And the simple fact of controlling himself, of not carrying out the gesture as he should carry it out, his blows have no value at all. But ye cannie understand. Ye're just a poor little Westerner... And all that is just cinema fer lil' Westerners like thee... The goal is nae tae hit, but tae kill ! D'ye understand me baby ?
Bruce Lee is a legend . Bruce was a trail blazer . Bruce is still and should be considered for his exceptional art of honestly expressing one's self .... In emotion and intelligence and through his body . If I could have a time machine, I would love to spend 1 day with Bruce Lee.
He changed the Western world. EVERY.... and I mean every kid, in countries across the world wanted to be Bruce Lee. Kung Fu "schools" were popping up everywhere and every bloody teacher had the name "Lee" somewhere in their own names. (As if to show they were somehow related). The scammers were cashing in on the Jeet Kune Do name as well. Every martial artist, no matter what style they used, all of a sudden was teaching JKD Kung Fu. A lot of people got rich off Bruce Lee. But no one came close to his speed and power. As technology advanced we were able to look at his kicks and punches in slow-mo, but with HD quality. There was no "trick photography" or special FX being used. It was just Lee being the fastest kicker and punch thrower ever born. I was 15 when I saw "Way of the Dragon" and now at 62, I still love watching his perfection. (Here's some trivia for you. Adidas named Chuck Norris' shoes "Rome" in honour of the fight scene. Again, every school kid had to own a pair of Romes back in the 1970s)
Greatest martial arts movie ever made. The Choreography and acting from Lee is brilliant and it was made 50 years ago! There still hasn't been much made since in the martial arts genre that can top it. It was the first time he had full creative control over the fight scenes and the story line and he produced this masterpiece. Imagine what he would of made once he gained some experience!! His facial expressions during the fights and the camera angles and his skill with the nunchaku to actually look like contact was being made was brilliant. Lee was a brilliant actor/choreographer/writer not to mention arguably the most skillful martial artist to ever be caught on film and in 1972 possibly the all round fittest and most highly trained human on the planet.
@@mikeed26 jackie chan is a legend, but completely different style and on screen presence, watch the jackie chan interviews about bruce lee, bruce was an inspiration to all the modern day martial artists and actors
The way of the dragon have some nice humour to it which makes so fun and memorable to watch at the same time as compared to his rigid roles in big boss and fist of fury.
This is the man that popularized martial arts and inspired Kenshiro's design from the anime Fist of the north star, Kenshiro partially popularized the shonen genre in anime, the most popular genre. We owe Bruce Lee two times now.
China might have produced substandard products like JF-17 but one product that it has produced that the rest of the world is proud of.....King Lee. Bruce Lee....salute to the man. Best MMA of all time. Real G.O.A.T. True love from India
@@johnaustin209 yes REALISM, as much as you can have in a movie, the way bruce moves in and out , the way he feints, that's very realistic and there are even some UNTELEGRAPHED STIRKES...aside from the melodramatic ending and the fact that they don;t go to the ground at all, that's one of the ,most REALISTIC FIGHTS in movie history
Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, which is the best highlight of this movie and is as refreshing as the battle against Chuck Norris and Bob Wall at the Colosseum, the last battle in the history of action movies, is fully demonstrated. It was great and great. Moreover, it was painful.
8:51-8:57-9:12-9:21--9:35-10:02-10:14-10:27-10:34-10:51-10:56-11:14 Pow! Pow! Pow! 👏👍👍👍 😎 I f##king love this, man! He nunchucks everybody in the room!
Bruce Lee moves at 12:59 , 20:02 are used by UFC fighters and champions of today like champions like jon Jones and israel adesanya. That question mark kick helped adesanya to secure ko to brunson, those calf kicks and oblique kicks at 20:02 are like of jon Jones style which has helped him to win more than 12 world titles in UFC.
The master and the king 👑 of martial arts, karate, kung fu. One n one only in whole universe, 'the Bruce lee' i ❤ his styles the way he fights. Like a predator
22:49 Chuck should have stopped when Bruce moved his head like saying “don't fight anymore”. I guess, this was about not surrendering. When they talked about their roles in this film, Chuck said to Bruce "ah, you want to beat the world champion". Bruce replied "no, I want to kill the world champion". So there it is.
Bruce Lee meant business when he had will power to ever defeat Chuck Norris in a fight ever. Everybody! In the world don't ever mess with Bruce Lee ever!💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪😡😡😡😡👍👍👍👍👍

That frase "You dont know about chinese spareribs? Let me show!" Truly a classic... One of my al time favorite kungfu movies together with '18 Bronzemen'! ✌😍👍
Still a martial art master after all this time and using so different techniques. He will get bored whatching today karate competition. Chuck impresses me a lot with his power
Another 30 seconds and Lee would have covered his defeated opponent with his jacket and laid his black belt on top respectfully, a move that sent Chinese audiences wild.
why is bruce lee's fight choreography so good and still awesome to watch. is it his philosophy of martial arts or something else. can someone elaborate on this plz???
