I live in Los Angeles and have seen him 20 times since my first time on Halloween night in 1980. I was 13 and my big brother who took me was 18. We saw him again together on the River Anniversary tour in 2016. He was 53, I was 48. It was a special night. 🥲 This afternoon I just got a couple tickets for Portland this Saturday night. I managed to score floor seats. I've only been down this close once before. The Who in 2008 at the Nokia live. It's a smaller venue. I had 10th row. They fucking ripped!! I can't wait to be up close to the stage. Lol I was in an accident 4 yrs ago that had me in a wheelchair until a few weeks ago. The Lord, physical therapy, hard work, and prayer has me using a cane. Not sure if I can stand up for 3 hrs? But I'm sure the adrenaline and other stuff will push me through it ok. Lol Myself and a friend are gonna drive up from L.A. it's a 15 hr. drive. I just got a used BMW X5 SUV a few days ago. It runs great. We'll see? Gonna get some tire chains in case it snows. Taking no chances. Lol Right now we're running around getting all kinds of last minute shit done. A babysitter for his puppy. Some substances for the entire weekend. Booking our Airbnb. Lol New clothes for the freezing weather. It's 50 degrees Fahrenheit here in L.A. It's 24 in Portland. My little guys will freeze and shrivel up. Hell no. I need some kinda form fitted warmer. I saw Steven's tour twice a few years ago and he was killing it. I already know "all the words" to most, but am prepping and learning some of the stuff I don't know like it's a job == ha!! == and am training my bladder. 🤣 Have a blast -- you know if you're up front you need to bring it as an audience member 😜 that's always my motto! 💃 You're going to have a magical time!!!!!
I've been reading Bruce Springsteen's biography, "Born to Run". I'm almost finished the book. So far he's not mentioned having a lady fiddle player in his band. It's a very interesting book; I'd recommend it to any music fan.
@wardnek - While not officially a member of the E-Street Band, Soozie is the musician who has performed live with Springsteen more than anyone else over the past 30+ years, surpassing even the official members of the E-Street Band. She has been a part of every tour he has done since 1992, including as a member of the "Other Band" in 1992-93 and 1995-96, and as a member of the "Sessions Band" during the 2006 tour, none of which were "E-Street Band" tours.
Hours of playing, no breaks, one song leading right into the next. I've loved Bruce and E Street since the 70's. I was blessed to see them in Tulsa that night. Best concert I've ever been to.
Thank you for saying that. Always hated him. Another mish-mash type of band/artist. I hate mish-mash shit, especially when an operatic, "shout to God", B3 is involved. I wish I could beat the fuck out of that guy and destroy that "old time soul machine."

Why did he stop bringing girls on the stage to dance during this song??? He use to ALWAYS do that! Does 73 mean it's not appropriate anymore??? Did his wife have something to do with it??? I mean come on!!!
I'm ( was ) a huge Bruce fan, but I wouldn't pay to see him live at this point. He is singing off-key, the whole band sounds tired and without Clarence and Danny, the sound has changed WAY too much. And that violin player is just a distraction and adds nothing to the band of any musical merit. And Bruce hasn't even written a good record since Tunnel of Love and that was almost 40 years ago! Sorry if that sounds harsh to some of you, but I am not going to just blindly love ANY Artist based on previous work, if they can't cut the mustard in the current day.
