Love at the end where Bruce hugs John Fogerty and sez Thanks Man. John Fogerty. Glad He came back. He deserves all the recognition that comes his way. The Music Business almost Ruined Him. He stuck it out. I’ve seen him Dozens of times. Just a Pleasure every time. THANKS JULIE.
What a Bloody Legendary Performance to honour the Big O. Roy will be smiling from heaven & say "See None Of You Bastards Can Do My Falsetto !!!!! " What a tribute to Roy by 2 music legends. Thanks for your version :)

This is a great cover. This and their rendition of Fortunate Son... Bruce's and John's voices just work so well together. This though... I've heard the original, and this is right up there with that. I love the original, and it'll always be a classic, but the way Fogarty's and Springsteen's voices interplay here is fantastic. I'm kindof impressed by Fogarty here too. that he can still thit those highs... That's no mean feat.

The Orbison version is still available - Roy WAS a genius in his own time at phrasing and bringing in beautiful harmony. Of course I LOVE Bruce and like his version too! Surprised at how VERY GOOD Fogerty was too!
John had Bruce do a song with him on John's Albums 'The Blue Ridge Ranger Rides Again' check it out its from 2009. they meet up together here there when they have similar Tour schedule's.

Wow. A great performance. It’s also very interesting: Bruce said that Roy Orbison broke the conventional pop music structure of “verse-chorus-verse-chorus,” but let’s face it, Bruce perfected it. Something that I have always loved about his music is how he rarely has a conventional chorus. Bruce is the epitome of unconventional, but beautiful, songwriting.

They are 2 legends John Fogerty is now 77 y.o and BS 73... who grew up listening John Forgerty, Bruce, Freddy Mercury, J. Bon Jovi , Johnny Cash, Mark knoffler, knows exactly what is real music, not the junk music from nowadays.
A great cover, I love both these men, have followed John Fogerty since his time in CCR and have see him in concert (in Australia) 4 times, awesome. How could you not love Bruce Springsteen, beautiful man, love his music and his performances. (might mention I have passed 70) Rock on you two!!!!

I love this version almost makes me cry I love Bruce I've been a fan of his since BORN IN THE USA and have seen every concert since .And John Fogerty is great too love this version
Not only is "the Boss" iconic, but his band members too stand up....and Fogerty is just a huge talent...this is a terrific tribute to ole Roy, now joined by the Possum. You KNOW they got a heck of a band!
.... didn't know John, in addition to everything else he does so well, can sing such great harmony. ( Also learned tonight, he played some great blues harp, at Woodstock.)
this was great.. they did a wonderful job.. loved every second of this song.. great men with suburb talent.. great harmony.. distinctive voices that could be heard individually... love it..
Wow, never gave much thought about this song until I found 2 legends sing this song. Led me to listen to the original. Wow at Mr. Orbison. What a talent.
Beautiful but Julie's dogs trashed it. Spent two weeks fixing the trim. He came in the last day, looked around and said looks great. Want a beer? Then he gave me one of harmonicas.
Thank you for posting this. Two of my favorite singers doing honor to a classic song written and first performed by one of R&R's greatest talents... Classic!

I love it when Bruce does Orbison, his voice gets more operatic and cleaner. Although I love the grit in his voice it's nice that he sometimes reminds everyone he has a technically great voice. A call back to the Born to Run album
He's quite self-deprecating about his voice, but he really does have it. I hear Orbison when I listen to "Hungry Heart". But to be able to not only write great songs but also sing them...making yourself vulnerable like that...is true talent.
