The KPZ-70 irl actually had a moving suspension, it would move the wheels to angle the hull to get crazy gun elevation and depression angles. This tank is in my top 5 list, it does everything well, decent armor when angled, good mobility, a strong turret and a huge punch for alpha, I'd like to see it with 8-9 degrees of gun depression, then I think it'd be perfect.
I love the Kpz 70… it’s my favorite tier ix after my Obj 752. You did a great job in the second game, I’ve noticed that very few players seem to know they can use the flat bed trains to make a good hull down position.
My first game in this tank I ammo racked a heavy on my first shot, killing him instantly. He was full health. I then ammo racked another tank later in the same game
to be honest im glad it got that gun depression buff, ive been begging for this for the past 3 years, 7 degrees in fine with me makes the turret armor so much better but if it had 8 it would be perfect imo, im so happy it got that buff
In my opinion this and the waffle are the best T9 in the game, i have around 1k games in it and avg 2.8k dmg, its just awesome, and it looks really nice
I do love the extra depression but it still has no armor and weak HE for its caliber. I would rather they would buff the armor so that it wasn't so garbage.
@@firstname-lastname6099 In my opinion The scilencer is the Best season tank to put in. Its like a free GSOR 1008 without HESH in tier 7. In math it has 277mm HEAT pen which is very good for a tier 7 TD. Plus it deals 620 dmg in 2.5s.

Would be nice for kpz70 to have reload buff for slight miliseconds. Its been a long time since I last play blit I wonder how much the tank change after updates.
i got the kpz70 during the chrismas event on one of my accounts, its a fun tank to play, but, problem is it jsut seems less fun when i compare it to the t30. t30 hits harder, has turret that does not have weak spot like kpz70(on the side turret) only ~300 less hp. since its tank destroyer, it does not take off a heavy tank slot from your team.
T30 mobility is average when you change directions. The turret can be paper when gold is loaded in tier X and the gun is inaccurate for a tank destroyer. Also it can’t pen some tanks like Mino even with gold + cali. It’s not that great how people think it is.
@@solitude6110 t30 can HE for 960, its more fun. its gun dosent need to compete against tds, its not a sniper. its a heavy. it can be argued that it has worse turret yes, but atleast it wont be penned with standard like the kpz. my stats are 65% t30 and 59% kpz. but yeah its not as op as people hyped it up to be, but its just fun. 640 is more of a sweet spot than 560.
@@obliverator1654 I agree the T30 is a great tank and I would say it’s got good accuracy as well. Hull down it rarely fails for me. I play behind the heavy or mediums in it (my favourite go to side is always the mediums to clear the red team meds as quick as possible)
I never understood how gun depression doesn't matter *because* a vehicle is low. Being lower to the ground doesn't make it any better at peaking over a ridge or hill. Can someone enlighten me?
I also have the tank and I find it is really good but I get annoyed because I did a game and I did 4.9k damage but it was a lose and I got 2 class badge😢

funny this tank has 7 degrees of gun depression in game, but in real life has 10, and since the tank also has hydro pneumatic suspension it can tilt over ridge lines giving it almost 20 degrees of gun depression. edit: not only that but tank can reach 70 kph thats why its has named kpz 70 because it possessed the engine that would be later outfit even to the Leopard 2 and can fire ATGMs like the Sheridan. I wonder when will WG do that
The "70" comes from the year 1970, it was seen as a futuristic design in paper thanks to all of the top tech features included I doubt they'll give it missiles here considering how that went with the T92E1 and Sheridan when they were released, though the one in WOT MA has them
I'd say it's the opposite, this tank gets meme'd for it's HE rounds, they only gain +80 damage making it 640, that's not a lot considering 128mm/130mm guns gain 140-200 damage. It should have at least 680 like the Sheridan, especially considering they use the exact same gun
