I was born a Muslim in Iraq. I was worried and depressed, sitting and looking at the Tigris River in my city.Jesus' face appeared to me in the water and told me. "Son, you're not alone" And now I'm a Christian, and I pray every day at the edge of the river.Thank you Jesus for this grace. I'm not alone right now. Jesus is with me.

To any woman reading this :WE sometimes give and nuture our lovers longer than need be...BUT never forget the heart is a gift that needs protecting...when we give our hearts to God any man who truly wants us will have to go to the Kingdom of God to get it...Tell him ya heart with God and he need to go ask your father for it

First admitting I need a makeover. Currently going through one of thee most painful break ups in my life. My wife decided after many years of marriage that she loved me but fell out of love with me. I moved out and now live alone and my heart is bruised severely at the moment but I'm thankful that I know to lean on God for all my understanding as I'm seeking strength to move forward. As much as I want to hate her I can't find it in my heart to do so.. this sermon was on point!!!! I have faith in Jesus that He'll see me through with knowing the Love of God and knowing God Loves me.... whether someone comes along in the future and happiness finds me again in the physical form I will forever be fulfilled knowing how much God Loves me... I pray that anyone who reads this has a comforting upon them and their situation subsides in God's Love. Amen

I been in 20 + marriage & divorce of 3 yrs it broke me deeply. I allowed myself to be verbally mentally spiritually financially and on a couple occasions physically abused. I'm a shell of who I used to be. I keep trying to find a way to have peace and acceptance of everything that's happened I just don't know where to start. Your prayers would really help me and I'll pray for those or hurting also God bless.

The pain is changing you for something better and stronger for what you deserve. You are the seed and God is giving you water, soil, and love to make you something he wants you to be. Thank so much for this word i knew that being with my ex was wrong and i ask God to remove him out of my life, but didn't ask God to prepare me for the pain of being by myself. IM asking for healing in my heart and to get my joy back,give me the strength to make it through this

I’ve been with my kids father since I was 18 we have five children together… I feel like when he left apart of me left with him! Everything that you pray don’t happen in your relationship HAPPENED in that relationship but yet I stayed over and over and over !!! I’m just asking GOD to help heal my soul from this pain and able to be strong for my children to know everything’s going to be alright

❤ My son , he was just a baby boy in kindergarten. My son Josh did the same thing by taking my ring 💍 and gave it to a pretty little girl. Well, during pick up time at the end of the school day, the little girl's mother gave me the ring back and told me what had happened. I was so shocked. I did think it was cute too at 1st. I'm just glad the little girls mother was honest enough to give the ring back.

A really good message on love Bishop it had me in tears🤧 because I believe we the church has forgotten about GOD'S Graces; we have forgotten to love, embrace, and cherish each other. Jealousy and the worlds system have caused the church to austisize and become overly judgemental. Personally, I was going through hard times and entered a spirit filled church. I needed serious help, but instead none embraced my Christianity but was pushed away and thrown to the wolves. I pray 🙏for the church to get back to LOVE by helping, supporting, and encouraging one another to survive in this world. It's not about just me, but us the church. None of us are more important than The GOD we serve, and therefore, I submit my prayers to all the Bishops, Pastors, Evangelist, Prophets, Preachers, Teachers, the body of CHRIST in its entirety, that THE HOLY SPIRIT TEACH us Love abounding without prejudice, without malice, without, envy or strife. Whether Jew or Gentile, whatever race greed or color, All Mighy God is putting all to the test of faith on how, when, where we are to support each and not to live by fear of the enemies devices. I'm beyond grateful for GOD'S love. I never knew love until GOD grabbed me from the world. I'm a preacher's daughter, but there was no JESUS in that chaotic house. I thought of JESUS as something that pretended to care & all of a sudden he'd pulled the rug from under u. I felt like GOD laughed at us & pulled strings like a puppet master. One day I got tired of chaos & realized the days I read my bible I had peace. I started reading my bible everyday & built my faith in GOD. I found the real GOD that gives beyond man's imagination. I had to leave my family as Abraham & I don't understand why GOD loves me so. All I know is I'm so grateful for this true love from GOD Almighty!!!

No matter what you’re going through, the Almighty God can bring the greatest Blessings even with the worst of circumstances. You’ve got to believe that nothing is impossible with the Lord of the Worlds. Seek Him constantly and He will direct your steps. Ask Him to strengthen you! God Bless you and have a good day.

Needed to hear this, I’ve been in a on again unequally yoked relationship for 10 plus years & I truly deeply love that man. He done took me through the ringer. I just broke up with someone and had to have a protection order put on him. Even though I know now that he is not meant for me, my heart still hurts. We bonded thru pain and childhood trauma. I wanted to love his pain away but his heart was filled with hate anger and everything that I am not. I saw glimpses of the innocent child who craved to be loved but didn't know how to receive it or return it. I had to walk away. I feel guilty for ending the relationship but I know it was for best interest.

Its unbelievable the amount of pain one can sustain...only the Grace of God Can Pull us thru. God keep working on me, I'm still healing, I'm listening. 🙏🏽❤️‍🩹🙏🏽

You know l received a text that. You had passed away. It was a very sad Moment for me. I had the same sadness when Dr. Martin Luther King 👑 passed away. It was awful. The first thing l thought was oh my God father how many are truly prepared. I thought of all the times l could have visit the potter's house. Then an other add said that you are still alive. What a relief. May God bless you and keep you and your loved ones safe.

😅🎉❤Profound sermon…in the beginning Bishop mentioned how fine Elvira was…. very sweet, but at the same time I find that this is what each individual does in this world in search of “Love” Man looks at outward appearance But the Lord looks at the heart… we each have to confess to ourselves we look high in low in too many faces and sizes and shapes of LOVE. after almost 56 years being on this planet I have given the Lord my heart and life in pursuit of His Will and His ways… it’s heart wrenching at times and A Bruised heart afflicted…. Being a nurse I understand how a bruise develops or inflicts the flesh of human… it’s injury… injury to the core of the skin that sometimes takes weeks to heal… now a bruised heart can be self inflicted or caused by trauma or disappointment or expectations of a situation or relationship that went sour or unexpected result that a person caused intentionally or unintentionally so where do we go to the therapist a friend or to Jesus?! I say take it to Jesus first because most of the time we get disappointed in ourselves for not keeping boundaries on ourself and others… we humans are fragile… most of the time we don’t realize what say and do until a bruise is evident and time is vapor and damage is done when communication and time with a individual is something of the past, then we are left repairing and repenting of things undone unrepairable… The Lord has to remind us 24/7 to be watchful sober on alert for the enemy is a roaring lion seeking to devour. When relationships end we end up usually replacing them not repairing them, and the cycle begins again to see how we can repair ourselves when sometimes we are the ones that throw the brick, maybe Elvira would have given you a second chance if you had tried to pursue her not with jewelry but with kind words and affection and attention… many women would jump at that, we love attention and affection and kind words…. Not bricks being thrown at us…. I found out years ago I don’t want an aggressive man…. But Praise God the Lord had his hand on Bishop Jakes I’m sure your slow to anger…. Jesus works through you… I’m sure no more bricks you use….. we all have to be careful not to throw bricks and stones…. May cause a Bruise you know….. Thank God Jesus has me…. My bruised heart is turning to weeping to Joy….. Amen and Amen.

Valentine’s Day, and I’m listening to this sermon for the second time so I can appreciate more and more the AGAPE LOVE God poured out in me that I can LOVE others even the unlovable. God so loved the world ❤ keeps reverberating in my spirit. Thank you God, thank you Jesus for your redemptive saving love, thank you Holy Spirit for filling those vacant spaces with the Spirit of love that only you can give ❤.

I almost didn’t finish the message. Bishop you exposed me. I was a robot on the job. I was told I was to hard, I was told that a had a 90ft. Trump wall up. I thought I was okay,,. Until Jesus. Broke down the wall ,and I fell in love someone. I had been running from . because ,I was 15yrs older than the guy,and I was scared . Boy did I cry. Then later on dat same year I lost my mom. I was devastated. Ever tyme I tried to pray,I ended up crying.. my mind was tormented day and nite. I never been in love like dat. It’s been a year now. By da grace of Jesus, I survived. My wife wants a divorce. I spent four years putting her through the worst moments of her life and her love held on. She is exhausted. She is tired. She believes in God and I am praying and hoping he will restore our marriage and we can move forward to be servants of God hand in hand. I needed this. I’m struggling with a breakup after two months together, and I thought she could’ve been the one but was not. As Pastor pretty much said indirectly: I was looking for love in all the wrong places. At this point, I’m giving God full control of this and every part of my life. I’m tired of being hurt. I’m tired.

Since end of January I’ve been listening to TD Jakes every morning and thank God for theses lessons. Been learning so much and I just thank God for helping me understand his word better and getting closer. Mr. Jakes thank you for service to our Lord for you are helping so many us. I would hope to travel and visit your church in the future and come to a live sermon.

Love is the most painful thing I have ever been through

Unconditional love is so powerful and painful when they don't recognize the damage I have done and never holding it against me and never or holding me accountable for any of the pain that I surely afflicted on her heart and I will never be able to do anything 😭 to show her that I am so sorry for the sadness I have done at the age of 14 I became addicted and I was the best mother ever and I just Left her mentally but physically she was by my side and she protected me and stood by my side and she was my best friend she was my baby and My first born are suffering her loss on 12,20,12 due to the opiate epidemic. . Unconditional love is so true and unbelievable that 😢it causes guilt.I have survived the loss thanks to the Elevation Church and Pastor Steven Furtick and you pastors Jakes you are so powerful and you r the most blessed 🙏 n you reach into My heart and you give me peace. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉I just today went back to this sermon and listened again….. I must say I’m celebrating a moment in time to understand why someone came back into my life…. You have to be very careful when your past calls…sometimes it’s a good thing and sometimes it’s a curse. I would like to say it was bittersweet is the best word. After 3 years of healing of trauma and past relationships I have come to understand now why this person came calling… I needed to be healed of rejection and abandonment issues… whew…let me tell ya I thought I was in the garden of gethsemane with Jesus many nights… I must tell ya I fought a good fight me and Jesus we brought the house down… got a chance to get to know what it feels like to die on the inside. Do I still love this person, yes I do, do I feel that he wasted my time yes I do, but not Gods time. I’m sure if I never see this person, I know every tear that was shed will dry, all the times of trial and tribulations was meant for me to understand more about Love than anything else, when we fail in many ways and other’s disappoint us with our expectations it’s when we understand all things work together for those that love the Lord. I understand now why this person is not the person. But the Love and memories continue on until I take my last breath. I can only have one song “memories” with Barbara Streisand. Bishop Jakes, I listened to your message “Bruised Love”. My question is can man ever “love” or be capable of loving as God loves us - unconditionally?

Even when we guard our heart ❤️ it yet gets hurt and bruised

God is using love to weed out those who ARE going to hell or there already. In Love, Christ came down here to DIVIDE!!! Not more right to love than God, but RIGHTLY ALIGNED IN THE LOVE OF GOD. I’m needing this sooo much right now my husband and I are separated and He seems to be a different person, working on a whole different relationship and not willing to fix our marriage …. Its hard but the more time I spend with Christ the easier it gets for me

this has absolutely warmed my heart when Pastor said “When you Got saved you think i don’t love you” idk what mindset i was on then but i know God love me through sin and he loves me saved his love remains the same. as i am getting deeper in my faith, idky i had the mindset that i had to keep doing more and more so that God could love me, i rebuke that thought because he loves me and his love remains the same. anyone who relates please let these words sink in and know GOD LOVES, FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD .

Good morning Bishop TD Jake's, the message this morning was about brused love, and you where speaking to me, Bishop I have been hurt to the core of my heart by family members, so call friends and many co- workers and by my 2 sons, my name is Ronetta Bishop, and for a long time the hurt is still there and I remain the same loving person to all of them, especially my 2 sons because drugs played a big part of my sons behavior and I know it wasn't them, that why I ask God to remove, change and come into there hearts, mind and soul and release my sons from prison soon with all charges dropped against him and give my baby another chance because this time he was wrongfully accused of all charges and was giving 30 years plus life for things he did not do, Bishop please from a mother's point feel the pain in my heart for my 2 sons please and pray for us because I need it, God has been with me all these threw all of my pain that I have endured from so many and I am still kind harded to them all, there have been times I wanted to say nasty things to them and stop doing for them, but God wouldn't allow me to do so, but even though it hurts, but God is healing my heart and I know that because at one point I had dish liked so many of them for who they hunted when I have been good to them, do for them when I am tired and didn't feel like it, none of them cared how i felt because they all knew I have a good and that I would do know what they have said about and how nasty they have been to me, even though I still think about it all and tears roll down my face, little that they know, God has me and that and the words from you, helps me alone the way, thank you for the words and pray for me and my 2 sons please, and you all be blessed, hearing the word from you open my eyes to see things different and understand, God put ones like you to help people like me and thank you so much because I am a woman that's filled with alot of hurt and pain.

I cannot tell you how many people I have referred this specific sermon to who told me that it changed their entire lives and the way that they perceive love. Me and my husband both agree that this video saved our marriage...... Instead of asking our spouses to do one, two, three, instead of the same things like well if you only would do this this and this then you would make me feel loved..."" Instead of doing that it made me realize that my husband loves me the way that he loves me. And once I stopped expecting him to love with me the way that I wanted to be loved, I started to appreciate the way that he does love me, and I was able to start seeing all the different ways if he does love me. Incredible sermon even if you leave the riddle legend out of it it is still beyond amazing.. I have yet to meet anyone that has said that they didn't get an immense amount of gratification and knowledge from this video.
