Anytime anyone says that a fan or critic should take the place of the professional to see how much better they do just show tells me that some people are just too lazy to actually watch sports and give takes. Neither Lopez nor George defended the belts successfully. Loma had a slow start against Lopez but was very close. Loma, most believe beat Haney. Peak Loma is the best of this generation and an all time great. George while having heart is a good fighter and tough but not great IMO. Lopez would beat George 9/10 times. George has fought some great fighters and not had their talent but he has done amazingly well and will retire with money in the bank and some great legacy

Loma is a counter puncher. Their plan was Devin plan and go to the body but Loma is a body puncher ko artist. His body game is great. There was nothing George would have done to change the outcome. His jab would've been timed and countered. There was nothing that wasn't timed and countered.

I dont get how "boxing fans" can clown on and disrespect these fighters that go out and fight other great fighters. There has to be someone that loses to have someone that wins. He lost to Haney and Loma, both of which are top level fighters. Doesnt aitomatically make him a bum, doesnt make him a hype job, doesnt make him a C-level fighter. I liked both fighters going into the fight, but was secretly rooting for Loma given his age and how he was done dirty by the Haney fight. Really hoping Loma and Haney run it back, and this time he keeps his foot on the pedal from round 1. Loma is one of the more humble and respectful fighters of the bunch in this weight class, happy to see him with this win and and cant wait for his next fight.

After watching George fight Teo, I definitely became a fan of his style and heart in the ring. Never heard him speak until now, and I'm an even bigger fan. And Loma's my favorite boxer. Such class, keep these dudes around.

George gave it all and he should be proud to openly say I DID MY BEST. but it wasn't enough against the MATRIX. Bravo. This guy is being called a one night wonder; but, he is one of few that has faced the very best. A lot of inflated records out there - for a guy that has no punching power he has done much better than most would. He was overmatched and it showed. He took the loss with great class and for that I salute him.
