This guy has a pretty cool build path. Pick that one mythic that gives you resistances for each legendary, then build black cleaver, Shojin, Titanic, Seracks Gage and other hp/ad items. seems to be the design philosophy.

i looked at the number. you don't actually lose current hp. it sets your max hp cap at 55%. I'm thinking you can use his Ult like Lee Sin Ult, so he stays on the flank.

I noticed something strange in his kit. His passive when going all out gives more of the mark dmg based on a percentage of your armor and mr. This percentage scales off of how much ad you have although no where does it say this. meaning going bruiser makes your all out dmg very high. specifically high armor and mr items and ad

The Q does not suck. It is applying your passive mark for decent damage on your auto. The Q enables the good damage on auto . This means Q's value is two attacks worth by way of passive.

Idk I feel like last game when you went tank you didn't go much armor or mr until later, and most of his abilities scale with that. You went Ironheart or whatever it's called which just gives a butt ton of health. I feel like he could still be good as a tank, although I think conqueror was the right rune choice.

I think the trick to playing K'Sante as full tank would be to stack as much armor and MR as possible (like 400 each) so that when you ult at below 50% hp you would gain a shit ton of AD and Omnivamp without building any damage while still having Bruiser levels of armor and MR

I believe you always have to go for a Sheen mythic. Be Triforce or the new Iceborn Gauntlet, the passive and Q low CD enables you to make use of it From there you can go full Tank or Bruiser. By ulting you can either transform from Tank to Bruiser or from Bruiser to Assassin We have to keep in mind that even if we lose stats, we don't lose passives. Like how we can keep DD's Anti burst or Randuin's/Frozen Heart flat damage reduction

Try Vladimir with the infinite scaling health item I was just fooling around earlier with it adaptive helm deathcap these all scale with each other and his passive could go sunfire and just burn people or titanic and gets aton of ad .

I dont think the ult reduces your hp if your hp is already less than 55%. I think that was why the tank game went so badly. As you were opening with ulti etc. I think your 100% right that a sheen item, into hullbreaker is awesome though hgaha

My childhood haunts me and Its just so damn faint in your videos but it always brings me back. Also for K'Sante. Apparently going full up into resistances is a really interesting build, because if you work strictly on his passive dealing damage, you annihilate people.

the thing is, the tooltip for the ult might be a bit misleading, it seems to reduce the max HP by 40% but it does not consume any HP if your HP when you cast is lower than 60%. That make it far more managable than I expected. At least when he ulted Kayne at 5 min he did not seem to sacrifice any HP

K’sante loves ramping, I suspect his best build is gonna end up being sunfire cleaver with conq, simply because you can stack them up in tank form then go morbius mode with all the free stats

It looks like Triforce was bugged. You should have been hitting for a lot more than you were after your Q's. Spellblade passive for 200% base AD + mark should have been higher.

from my testing when going tank it's actually just better to go the Icathias (Now Protean), he gets most of his damage from the armor and mr.

i mean, you didn't build titanic on the tank build so, all your AD ratios would have been affected by it thanks to the amount of health you had, i think tankm would still work with titanic either first or second item so you don't waste all that health and convert it to AD instead. but this is just a thought.

Tank K'sante might be good on support since he have lots of utility like CC,dash but definetely bad on top lane. I understood it the first time i tried the champ, he is definetely a bruiser

Aftershock Shield Bash Conditioning Overgrowth/Unflinching Sudden Impact Ingenious Hunter Ability Haste Armor x2/MR x2 or one of each Run Chemtank. Aftershock is free damage and increases all abilities that scales with armor and MR and will give you extra damage at lvl 1. The rest of the Resolve tree is self explanatory. Sudden Impact because he is a tank assassin with dashes in E and R. This will give you more damage and will cause Aftershock, Shield Bash, and Chemtank to do more damage. Chemtank is for free damage and gap-closing, especially when you use R and they try and run away.

I think the notch on his health bar is the Ult cost right? From watching this, it looks like if yiu Ult while under that threshold, your health doesn't get "spent." In other words, if you Ult at full health, you just give them 45% true damage in you. If you Ult at 55%, you give up none of the health stats. So the design idea, and who knows if it works or not, is sort of an ad / cdr bruiser where you don't necessarily build health, but instead prioritize defensive items like armor and mr. The health you're giving up will last longer and give you more ability rotations, then when you Ult you don't give up any health cause you've effectively "spent" it tanking their initial attack, and the armor/mr you built gives you a little extra offense once you've tanked their biggest cooldowns. So, above Half health, you're just doing chip damage and trying to bait out cooldowns. Half health or lower, you flip the switch and now you're the low cooldown, high damage threat. But yeah. Still Need AD. Not a "tank" in the traditional sense; just able to "absorb" damage he functionally doesn't care about (because he's going to give up anyway with Ult)

TLDR; See y'all in six months when K'Sante gets a mini-rework. This guy's design feels confused at best. Remember the original Quinn ult? This ult has the same kind of issue. Take a champion-type , then take away all of the benefits the champion-type has that identifies them as that type and then ??? = Profit??? The AD you get from his ult is terrible, you could literally double it and it would still be mediocre largely because he's not built to take advantage of that stat. It's like throwing a BF sword onto Xerath in exchange for half his mana. Cool I guess? Likely K'Sante is going to suffer from the same issues Quinn has which are the hallmarks of a poorly constructed champion: they're going to have moments during the season where they seem to become an unstoppable fucking monster when item/game conditions favor them. But then those items inevitably get nerfed and they fall back into obscurity. You can't buff the champs because any tweak turns them into a god. But leaving them as they are means they're just barely relevant.

divine sunderer is probably better on him cuz it gives resistances as it's mythic passive and he scales with resistances, I think a core build on him will probably end up being sunderer, deaths dance (or maw if they're ap heavy), fimblewinter or maybe for a different mythic it would be the new item Icathia’s Endurance since it gives a ton of resistances :) edit: i just looked at some items, Gargoyle Stoneplate looks amazing since it gives +60 armor and +60 mr, not sure exactly what the numbers would work out to but that's a lot of the stuff he scales off of the most. idk, stuff that builds from the item Aegis of the Legion might be good.

He just seems so built for support in so many ways, this champ: -Has displacement CC -Has a shield that doubles in range and value when used on an ally -Isn't super mana-intensive -Damage is eh even when you build for it -Ult can immediately remove priority targets, limited not only to an enemy carry, but even potentially taking junglers across the pit walls as a means to secure dragons, a massive benefit that doesn't apply as much to a top laner Slap Glacial on him and pair him with an all-in ADC like Tristana, Lucian, Draven, Samira, etc and I feel you'd get some serious massacring going on.

his kit reminds me of "hybrid syndrome" back in the day i.e. old warwick, sion, jax, kayle in the full tank video you had some crazy 30% Omivamp ( scaling with resistances) but no damage to heal off of whereas with the bruiser you have like 17% with more damage almost like "a jack of all trades master of none" champ; at this rate going spirit visage will amp the shields and omivamp you're basically an engage tank like Rell with the opposite ability traits

Meanwhile, real challengers are hyped with how ksante can move his enemies around with his kit

why are none of the tubers building gargoyle stoneplate on him? am I going crazy? am I reading it wrong? +120 resistances +25% bonus resistances if you stack the passive... ult and gain (if you dont have any other items) 97.5 AD. What am I not seeing, why is no one doing this?

The ult is disappointing. Here is how I would rework it: The K'Sante Ult will be like a Lee's Kick with Ksante instantly follow up with a dash to the opponent. If the target opponent hits a nearby wall or terrain, they will be stunned for 3 seconds. The health cost for using the ult is 20% current health. No bonus to attack damage. If Ksante is marketed as a tank, then give him the option to either kick the enemy team front line tank away, or their ADC toward his team. This will make Ksante synergise with other champs, something the current ksante is lacking. This also enable him to be a useful teamfight tank. Also Ksante W should have a longer range so he can dash behind the enemy target.

The funny thing about riot making tank is that give them high ad/ap scale cause they think you will build them as tanks but most people will just play most tank as Bruiser. since bruiser get ad/ap, armor and magice res anyway and can tank. So there is almost no point to go full tank on any champ unless you are a support or a champ with multiple cc and almost zero scaling., Aka Alster, Oram, Sion(maybe), Zak.

I think this guy is meant to be built like Irelia and Darius. Might even go ice born gauntlet, black cleaver, titanic hydra, maybe even Bork, and last item can be whatever depending on enemies. No way this guy is a pure tank. I can maybe see him in JG, will be kind of like yi waiting for 6 mainly but will be able to make a much bigger impact pre 6 because of his Q and W. His Ult needs to be re-worked stat wise.

Peeps need to understand a "Tank" is not based around big health pools alone but damage mitigation wich is what K'sante HAPPENS to scale with 15:30 True damage is only When you are All out, Normal mode is only Max health damage, All out scales of MR and Armor AND health but mainly the resistances

That early fight with just a Sheen doesn't prove he's a bruiser, you could have turned that Sheen into Iceborn Gauntlet. Part of their goals with the items this season is to make it okay to not build a mythic first if it suits your champion, and it looks like he's a very good Sheen user. He can still be a tank as a Sheen user Not saying he's perfect, they could probably buff the damage on his passive or the conversion of tank stats to damage stats on his ult, but I think he works as a full tank. I think people would be crying that he's overloaded if he had tankiness, mobility, utility, AND damage.

The point in his kit that made me never want to play him is the health loss during ult. You ban Garen you get Darius or Urgot. Against those 3 you can never group or solo lane after level 6. Nasus, Renekton, Aatrox,Yi are examples for champs that get stats for ulting and not trading them for other stats. Ugly champ because there are better bruisers/splitpushers/tanks.

Maw is really good on him. And silvermere dawn if they have cc. Although iceborne is my favourite time on him then build whatever you want. The q slow into the auto attack iceborne slow is too good. The w max second is just generally better. More damage in ult and more damage blocked. When you combo you wanna use w twice for 16% hp damage plus passive twice plus w damage twice

Zwag: K'Sante is really terrible in team fights. Ioki: All of K'Sante's ability feel much better in a team fight, you know, like a support. Funny the difference of opinion, I think it was mainly because in that first game Zwag played, his team fed the other team hard.

He's definitely a tank(bruiser)/assassin, the ult turns him into the assassin portion, singling out a high dmging opponent and trading out your super tankiness for crazy DMG and healing. People want tanks but they're also trying to appeal to the "high mechanic" or pressing a bunch of buttons to get cool results crowd who love to look cool mid game

Every single time this guys says "he got away with one hp" they are never close to one hp and it's annoying. like just say he "got away with low health". this dude 16:35 108hp!!!!! Not. Even. Close. People don't say "got away with 1hp" as a common saying for when someone gets away with low health they say it because they got away with 1 freaking hp.....

I still think there was merit to the build in the first video, a proper tank build. The engages and fighting just weren't tailored around his ult. Zwag opened fights with his ult early, basically saccing away his health for no reason. Someone else mentioned it in comments, but you hang around on the frontline early. forcing enemy skills and ults. Then when your health is aprox half, you ult a backliner or a low target, and use the dmg/vamp to delete them away from their team.

Try items that give lots of resistance but little to no hp. Wits end, evenshroud/trinity/goredrinker, randuins, Frozen Heart/maw, gargoyles. This imo is a build I suggest you try. Bruiser/dualing potential with the resistances to stack your abilities

I think that for tank K'sante Best mythic would be the Icathian... something. Passive armor and mr + active hp succing at max stacks... Hes champ that likes long fights so... Concider this next time Zwag.

He is talking a lot about things like - "I built this guy a full tank and he had no damage WTF RITO". Shouldn't this be the definition of a frontline champ? It's really irritating in this game that there are a lot of champs that can build full tank items and still kill you in a few hits if you are playing a squishy champion. A tank should deal close to no damage if they built only tank items.

ZWAG you play every champ with sever different builds, WHY are tubers so hung up on his tank builds?? GIVE ME FULL AP before we bash then champ!
