Thanks for coh2 replay. This game never gets old, just found out that the Ardennes campaign has usf bulletins (despite playing since release lol) for multiplayer so am going through that now. Really good bulletins too.
Great video! Don't know how much you take note of your comment section, as I am relatively new to your RU-vid channel (although been a follower of yours on Twitch for many many years). I finally gave CoH 2 a fair shot, and am starting to like it a lot more than initially would expect this time again. Played it last time in 2017, and a bit more during it's early days. Wanted to know if your videos here on RU-vid that are a few years old now, detailing how to play as the different factions, specifically Ostheer, still remains relative to the state the game is in now? Also, there is the CheatCommands Mod Version 2, to use to test out the units. Is this version of the mod up to date, and not using old values from the game? Just so I know, I am not wasting time in that mod.
Cheatcommands mod uses a gamemode, not a tuning pack, so the stats of that are up to date and you can even use it to test things from other mods, as long as those mods don't use gamemodes for theird functions.
The only thing I dislike in coh2 is the stat modelling of the FG42 of the Fallschirmjäger: it sounds like a SMG but the Rate of fire and damage per shot should be like that of a BAR. Both fire rifle cartridges. In coh1 is was modelled better.
@@spinosaurusiii7027 well, its sound and ROF looks like that of a SMG. This is absurd. In fact it was rather similar to a BAR. And this is how it should be in the game.
Such a strange feeling...is like pulling out Beethoven from the closet to play piano for u 10y later... I wish the servers of this game never go off...not gonna lie, I kinda happy coh3 ended up like that...now we more understand the true value of coh2 and coh1 and also developers learn something...i mean if they learn!
How do you play without hot keys?? I keep my infantry on 2 lol. And funny playing co2 for RU-vid content ..but here I am after not watching for awhile watching coh2 😊!
At time of writing This video has litle ove 4k views, 7 days after release. Other videos 2 weeks three weeks old only have 1.2 , 2.5k views. Axis coh 2 is the play mate 😂🎉
Oh I used to love CoH2 but now I’m so used too to the many QOL improvements in CoH3 I could never go back.. the camera is so close, the walls and fences that are un-passable for infantry, the MG’s are balances (lol maxim) the mortars actually work in CoH3, LOLscripts that auto suppress for no reason, the list goes on. I hate the end balance the game was left in also. As Soviet you get end game RNG for AT which is rubbish. Panther of Hero’s 2 😂
@@kajetanzurek3895 Actually, the reason the game lags has little to do with the graphics settings. The game will lag just as badly on low settings as it does in high settings. It's the update loop, which keeps track of the inputs, visual state and the game state, which are all processed in sequence. During late game this update function becomes so slow that it results in lag. CoH3 actually fixed this by computing all 3 things asynchronously, hence it doesn't lag when a lot is happening on screen. "Hold on, you said visual state! So graphics do matter?" Not really, the update loop runs only on your CPU, which then tells your GPU what to render. By turning the graphics down you mostly reduce the load on your GPU, which is already underloaded because your CPU is struggling to calculate the entire update loop in sequence on just one core. There might be some graphics settings that reduce the load on your CPU idk, but as you can see in Hans's past three matches, he's playing on low and it still lags massively during late game.
@@juanzulu1318 Even if the game is old doesn't mean that its game engine that is running would be easily run with recent hardware. Bad coding and other technical stuff related to it makes it run badly. You can look at GTA IV or Fallout New Vegas, both of these games are old and yet recent hardware are hardly running these properly because of the said game engine are poorly optimized. So CoH 2' game engine is mostly responsible for being badly optimized, not the hardware itself.
@@OuzoVodka16 good hardware can compensate bad optimizing. Besides, the fact that coh2 is badly optimized is well known and doesnt need to be mentioned. The fact that Hans mentioned the fps points to a different issue. Maybe he compared the fps of coh2 with coh3
