I’m surprised to say this but for some reason I totally agree with you Josh, I don’t think they are going anywhere. Also some other things which could solidify Bruno staying with us is the fact that Joelinton has signed his contract and I don’t know if you’ve seen any footage from it but they certainly looked like they were getting along very well at Joe’s wedding party 😅😂 Plus if you think about it even if Bruno went to Man City it’s not like he would be in the starting 11 as they already have such good players which wouldn’t be ideal for Bruno and I’m sure he would want to be somewhere where he knew he would be a no brainer for the starting line up. I honestly believe we will loose at least 1 no matter what they say to the media. The fans would rather keep howe at any cost over appeasing the players ambitions. Next season will be more of the same, the fans kissing eddies backside, excusing everything and they will be shocked when the ambitious clubs that demand a certain standard will just take our best players again. Its a never ending cycle until the club and fans demand and expect better.

I think you’re right, you can’t always trust what players say, but I do think they’ll both be here next season, isak because no one could afford him - it’s a £130m bid just to start the conversation - and Bruno because I can’t see many clubs having the pull and the finances to lay down £100m no questions asked before the FFP reset on July 1. Certainly not arsenal, sorry gooners (emphasis on the goon). It’s important we strengthen and that means the chaps in Riyadh giving EH the financial backing to buy the players who will take us to the next level, we’ve got to be looking at £200m inclusive on money raised from transfers, otherwise it’s rearranging the deckchairs on the titanic, pointless, it’ll be another year of stagnation. I’ve got a feeling however that 24/25 could be a crucial, transformative year for our club. We shall see.
