I recently fell in love with Bruno Mars, couldn't resist covering this relatively old hit. I've made some noticeable timing mistakes - sorry for those - apparently I was trying too hard to dance while playing guitar.

By the way, the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago; I seldom listen to modern music, but when I paid attention to Bruno's compositions, I couldn't help feeling attracted to them. And his tune is AWESOME. That's why I wanted to check out if someone had made a proper video with the guitar "riff" well played. And I found your video :) So thanks for the work and keep it up, mate! biebs_shreds You can download Helix preset from the description if you want precise fx and settings. Generally it’s noise gate -> compressor -> bass octaver -> overdrive -> amp -> delay -> reverb.

Vĩ Guitar No problem! Make sure you have the right input gain setting, for this preset mine was around -18 dB on peaks.

How did you get the backing track without a guitar to avoid distractions?

I didn’t. I just synced the metronome with the song and played along. And on the video my guitar is just really loud. Guitar parts in original tracks don’t really distract me. I play to the drums.

sanyavanya how about when you recorded your guitar sound? How did you mute the original guitar lines without muting the Bruno’s voice? Thank you so much for your inspiration!
