James Klippel there’s always a bit of auto tune to make it sound clearer, not necessarily to compensate for bad vocals. There are a bunch of videos of Mars singing with 0 production and still sounds great. Off the top of the dome, he sang billionaire in a parking lot and sounded great.

and they hate him for the most stupid reasons, like his songs are overplayed in the radio, he's appropriating black culture, he's copying retro artists etc. they're inventing reasons to hate him just because he's a hundred times better than the artists they like. i'm sure they'll come around. bruno has the magic.

Another reason is that Bruno does not swim to the flow of river. He keeps on experimenting different genre(old school music). I have seen many comments in which they r asking him to change his music style i.e he should make modern music. But they don't understand that his style introduced him success. This is the only reason why his concert breaks generation gap, bringing all race, class, religion etc together. Even famous personalities visit his concert. If he change his style, then he won't be Bruno Mars.

Bruno is one of the few pop artist I really enjoy and respect. In a world full of over produced crap and over produced polished pop stars; Bruno comes off as an actual talent and authenticly charismatic.
Dude is otherworldly when it comes to talent and he spends years on certain songs to “get them right”....I’m bias but as a shitty musician who has studied music in school my whole life....I have zero jealousy towards him but just pure love. He’s flawless and music and rhythm flows from his soul. He’s incredible

Sandra Kasiala I can hear the auto tune. It is selective auto tune, so it’s probably post production correction. It is obvious to me and it bugs me cause I prefer his voice without it. Everyone knows he can sing live and I’m sure it was a good performance without. This is one of the few performances that post selective auto tune is one his voice for a live performance.

Years ago, I LOVED the acoustic renditions Bruno and his crew would perform of songs like Grenade and Locked Out Of Heaven. I was wondering if we would ever be blessed with one in this 24K Magic era tbh. Thankfully, this team of songwriters and musicians knows exactly what we like 😏 Good to see him returning to his roots as well 👌🏽
These back vocals are just so good, if they were with anyone else they'd probably outshine them but with bruno you can clearly see why he's lead singer.
