Mowing is very satisfying but running the combine is my favorite. Not only are you seeing the results of a year's work, it's just a lot of fun. I wouldn't mind seeing an updated equipment tour. Seems like you are constantly wheeling and dealing, I can't keep up.
For some reason I enjoy hauling manure, you get a lot of stretch brakes because of loading it. Just I little more verity rather than doing back and fourth jobs. But hopefully I will get to combine my soybeans this year, so that would probably be my new favorite job. Great video Gavin
I’ve worked on a crew planting and mowing conservation grass. Covering thousands of acres in CRP fields kind of has ruined me but at least we do it with autosteer.
If I remember correctly in those tractors, the little dial with the red band over the top is field cruise, you can dial in the max engine rpm you want and it won’t go over it, in your case 1200rpm, even if your hand throttle is wide open.
I like mowing weeds…. I use a 4020 and a I think it’s a 10’ John Deere one… I like mowing weeds because I like to test my braveness when I straddle ditches or up along banks… I can mow a lot and do a lot of stuff with it
Nice work. Keep them coming. Curious on more detail about growing popcorn. How close can you have different varieties? I’ve heard of some folks growing sweet corn beside it without cross pollination, any experience?
