Glad you liked it! Simple to create, but indeed fun to play around with (instead of a brushstroke, you can use pretty much any shape to do this with).

I’m trying to mix photos using a brush stone like this, how can I do this with a transparent background? Every time I try to select it has a ton of the white background!

If I understand your question correctly, you’re not able to fully remove the white background? Is that correct?

@@KimdeBeen yes, after the whole process is done. I have a photo of a busy city street, I wanted to “paint” a nature scene through the center of the photo but the spots that are blotchy as a paint brush should be remain white like the background. Even doing a heavy contrast mask to try to take JUST the paint streak it keeps the little bits of white between the paint bristle patches.

Maybe it’s better to remove the background of the paint brush entirely instead of masking it. And then you can use a clipping mask to place the nature scene inside of the brush stroke.
