I agree with the TSA guy, I would recognize you from your eyes also. What I like the most about you, is the fact that you preach to treat others kindly, no matter who they are, and you conduct yourself as a lady should. Beauty doesn’t get any better than that! Except for laughter. Laughter is always good.
As a 37 year old dude, I never thought I’d be so curious what the family of a woman I never met would think about her new hair cut. I’ve been checking every day for part 2. Weird world. Looks good :)
“A couple of the guys said I don’t like her hair like that” 😂😂😂 your grandma is so blunt about it ! PS I’m so glad we aren’t mad at Jermey anymore and he’s back in our good graces
Christina - I’m new to your Casually Christina channel, and I wanted to say... your family is so lovely!!! I love Jeremy’s low key vibe - he is so calm and stoic which I can imagine would compliment your bubbly personality really well. Also, I say this with the greatest respect... your eldest baby is fiiiiine! I don’t know how old he is but dayuuummm what a gorgeous young man! And he looks just like his daddy! Jayden is just beautiful too, definitely a mini-me of you both personality and looks wise! Ps. I love the hair particularly when you wear it curly!
Finally! I've been waiting on this one! Last one it ended in tears for me! I'm sure the new look is growing on the family! You are beautiful PERIOD! Inside and out! Hopefully no tears for this one! 🙏🤞🤣👏
@@Sssssssslf as a very empathetic person... it doesn't take much for me lol seeing Christina look upset and hearing her family not be excited about her new look made me emo. That's all. 🤷♀️
I absolutely love you guys. I love watching you guys together. Y’all are such a beautiful couple and you can without a doubt see the love you have for each other. You know it’s real love when after being together for a long period of time, you still have a connection like you both do. I know for me, I can see and feel how pure it is and it’s truly beautiful!!! Some people yearn to find this connection and sadly never find it. Love yall Btw you look stunning luv. Your hair is beautiful either way. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💓💓💓💓💓
I am definitely with Jeremy as far as not liking change. I'm AWFUL with change. I been waiting on this video because I knew he would reassure you. He's a good man and you can tell he loves you oh so much ❤ I think your hair looks so cute when you have the wet/scrunched look. But like Jeremy said you would be beautiful bald girl.
Your boys are so sweet. Jayden seems so sweet and funny. Both fine gentlemen. Glad we can tear the page out of the burn book for Jeremy haha Love your videos ❤️
your grandma is so cute. I am 72 and I have dreadlocks and older people say to me why do you have your hair that way? They think all older people should have short hair. Your lucky your man liked the dreads, most men dont.
Omg I love your Granny!! She is the absolute coolest & Jeremy clearly loves you so freakin much!❤ I can't wait to have a hubby who is my bestie too!! It's okay Jeremy, we took you out of the Burn Book 😂💋
Man. I’m disappointed in your hubs not interrupting you and kissing your face off to show you how amazing you are! He should not miss the mold, and who complains about how long it takes to get ready to when you get to walk by your side??? 🥰
Idk why Jaden adding in like his name and then WE ARE SORRY 🥺🥺 I’m lowkey tearing up you are raising a whole young man 🥰 you are doing an amazing job!!!! 🤞🏼✨
I can’t imagine how good it felt the first time she showered and could actually deep wash and scrub her scalp, how much lighter she feels. You look beautiful, dreads or not! Love you girl.
Aw Jeremy, kiss that girl and tell her she’s the pertiest. Girls just want that mushy love sometimes. Christina, you know you’re a doll and he adores you. Guys just need time to process change. Plus, It’s better than being indifferent and not even noticing one way or another. Knowing he really liked your hair in locs is really sweet. 😊💜
Men are just dense sometimes, and even if we LITERALLY tell them exactly what we need from them “Tell me I’m pretty!” they just have such weird hangups about saying words. My husband says that his love language is doing nice things for me, which he does. But I’ve told him that my love language is hearing the actual words all the time. And I need it. Sorry, but man up and just do it!
I absolutely love grandma.. “well that’s what she wants and that’s the style nowadays but ya’kno what you gonna say to someone who’s 70-80 years old🙄” *takes puff of inhaler* When I tell you that SENT ME🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also, I LOVE your hair scrunched!!! That’s my fav style so far on you!!! So gorgeous.
He has such a big heart. Over the years watching him grow into such a caring young man has warmed my heart. When he was getting bullied in the bus I wanted to drive from Texas to kick them in their butts, lol. He has a great momma that's raised right so we'll🤍🤍🤍
I’m SHOCKED the amount of hair you still have and how long and healthy it is!!! You’re so lucky. It looks so so good! I’ve gotten more used to it, I’m sure the fam has too 🥰😍
People don't realize just how much hair falls out of our scalp every single day. Makes perfect sense that that much hair would be brushed out of 5 year old locks
Exactly!! They say you lose 50-100 strands a day so that hair ball years and years worth! I even notice if I go about a week without washing my hair looks like so much is coming out in the shower but if I washed it every day it wouldn’t be half as much
And you are assuming Christina is white but you do not know. She could be white passing. I don't know either, but I don't assume anyone's race. The ignorance...
I’m still mad at him. I would have tripped over myself and rolled down the hill to tell you how amazing you look with your new hair! 5.5 years is a big commitment and big change for YOU. That should be seen and respected no matter how anyone feels about YOUR hair. Much love sister!
christina is like a little high school girl who’s in love for the very first time whenever she’s around her husband and it’s adorable. happiness looks so good on her!
I agree it’s so cute! I love seeing couples that have been together a long time but still have that “spark” it’s adorable. The best is whenever I see elderly couples holding hands and the man opening the door for his elderly wife. 🥺
Aw Christina, as a woman of color I feel like I understand how emotionally attached we get to our hair. Sometimes it’s something we hide behind and it’s one of the only things that can make us feel beautiful so to share this with us and your family is a vulnerable thing. You look great 💜 your energy is the same and that’s all that matters in the end. Blessings to you and yours 🙏🏽
@@riceland1186 I'd say I don't have any greys at nearly 33 but when I go to get my hair done and don't trim myself they have strick instructions to not tell me if they see any denile is a beautiful place 😂
@@riceland1186 I'm hoping genetics are my friend I got some health issues from family genetics least they can do is give me some good things 😂 granted my hair is currently green soon to be purple so that helps 😂
I can't wait for more updates about your property. Your grandma is so cute. You have inspired us to move to Florida. Well we are being wrongfully evicted (me and my fiance worked all thru the Pandemic to keep our bills paid, we rent a house and they sold it) We don't have the money to fight it. So we are scrambling to get a place before the end of the month. It's been very stressful. Early this year you inspired me to get a new job so we could afford a home. I wanted to get out of the cycle of renting. But no matter what I do, something gets in my way.... You, Ro and Jess have taught me that even when things seem desperate- keep going. Because you can always turn it around. Thank you 💜💜💜
It really is true. My husband and I went to the same middle school and high school and have been together since high school and became teen parents. Girl, let me tell you, we had one car and couldn't afford daycare so I was a stay at home mom to prevent daycare costs and the cost of another vehicle. Plus my husband had much more work experience than I did and he would make more than I would. It was a DEVASTATINGLY, HEARTACHINGLY, BROKE, PENNY TO PENNY 9 WHOLE YEARS BEFORE WE *FINALLY* GOT BLESSED AND MY HUSBAND GOT A MANAGERIAL POSITION AT A WORLDWIDE COMPANY. I'm so thankful to god every day that we have more than $5 in our checking account. My husband is the hardest working man I know. For those 9 years, he worked TWO FULL TIME JOBS. 1 was graveyard shift and the other was an early morning shift. This poor man lived on 4 hours of sleep for 6 days a week, for 9 years. He worked 16 hour days. With the drive to and from work was 2 hours. Showering. Eating. Having a moment with his kids and his wife, only left this poor man 4 hours of sleep a night. He looked sick because he was so worn out. We prayed so hard about it and miraculously, some how he met someone through a friend who changed his life. He is a manager and primarily works from home and by the good grace of God, has been making 90,000 to 110,000 dollars per year, the last 4 years. He was recently promoted and was given the opportunity to take over the business in 3 years. The owner for this particular branch of the worldwide company he works at makes $4 million dollars a year. We have teenage children and although we were able to rent a home, we recently decided to cut back as much as we could and we moved into a smaller apartment. So that way we can grind and save and pay off all our debts and, raise our credit score, we are thankfully at a 720 now and keep stacking that money to buy our FIRST home by the beginning of next year. It's hard. My husband and I have cried on hands and knees to god and cried the tears of a 100 men and women combined. We also both come from very toxic, abusive and broken families so we've never has any help and have had to deal my our families kicking us when we were down. God always has a bigger plan for all of us. Remember, the tougher the battle, the sweeter the reward. There are good days and bad days, just remember that after the storm, always comes a rainbow 🌈 😊 you are not alone ❤️ keep your faith strong, work hard, be a good person, and give back- even if it's only a dollar, and never expect ANYTHING in return. And I promos you one day, god will bless you immensely. Keep fighting the good fight and I pray that thing's will get better for you. Never lose hope. Sending you and yours so much love and light. Take care 🙂 💕
THIS!! I swear to thr good lord my husband probably would never even notice. He definitely wouldn’t have laid down, and talked with me like that. I love how much he DOES care
This makes me so sad. You guys praising that he was willing to care and have a conversation cause ‘most guys won’t’ the bar is on the FLOOR with most men. I think she deserves a man who worships her and is enthusiastically engaged and who did leap up and tell her how stunning she was. Idk so many women settle for someone who is just better than shitty.
@@reallifejenni I do not get the impression that her husband is “just better than shitty.” That’s an unfair assumption, as we don’t reside with them on a daily basis. I felt his concerns were more about how she’d feel if things didn’t go as planned. I won’t settle for anything less than what I want and deserve but I also have realistic expectations. We all have our shit and some men aren’t great communicators. 🤷🏼♀️
Lol I don’t think Jeremy hates it, I think it’s a big change and give him a day or two. You’re glowing with the dreads, and you’re glowing with your new hair inside and out you are SUCH a bright soul no matter what ❤️
If my husband came home w a shaved head I’d prob sound the same. Her kid and husband are likely more upset about change. I’ve had people freak out going from really long hair to short. They get used to it quickly.
Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous in both ways! Your grandma’s friends comment had me rolling. “Why does she have all of those braids and knots in her hair? And I said, that’s how she likes it and it’s just the style now a days.” 😹
wow this was really sweet christina! i’m so happy you brought jeremy back on to explain how he was feeling & essentially cleared up why he reacted in the way that he did. this is real love/true friendship. i love you guys
This is why I didn’t throw any shade Jeremys way I knew there was more to the story lol. I’ve been watching your channel long enough and I’ve seen enough of Jeremy to know that he’s a pretty supportive person! You look absolutely stunning. 💜
@@Stephaniemickle _@That Girl Jessica_ didn't sound at all upset (or like she needed to "calm down"), and she wasn't wrong either. Click bait isn't always a bad thing if it's done right. It's just like TV shows do when they show a preview for the next episode. They'll show it to be as intriguing as possible to get you excited for the next episode.
Miss Christina you left me on a cliff hanger for so long with this one that I found out I was pregnant between this video and the last one!!🤣🤣❤️ you look so incredibly gorgeous😘
@@casuallychristina636 thank you so much my love!! We are so thrilled 🥰 your videos will definitely be helping me through for a while🤣❤️ I hope to be half as good a mama as you😘
Your intro about the people recognizing you without your locs is the perfect representation of the fact that you are so much more than your hair. It was not your identity, you are no less without it, and people see you for so much more than the hair. No regrets about cutting it boo, new chapters in the book and that’s perfectly fine! Love it!!
We know why you took them out. Sometimes us women gotta do things that our families don't fully understand. My friend chose to have both of her breasts removed so she could live without pain and cyst troubles. Her husband didn't like it but she did it for herself.
Having had painful PMS with cyclical mastalgia, I totally understand. Oddly it's gotten much less painful the last two months and I don't know what I changed.
Damn....thats...that's a damn good idea. I have cysts in my breasts that caused a cancer scare back a few months ago. I just found more cysts yesterday. I don't know if I'd be brave enough. But my boobs always hurt. They aren't even like, shaped right anymore (u know, gravity, cysts, etc). I'm over it. But things like that cost money and I don't have that. But you right, us women DO have to go do things sometimes our families don't get. Is what it is.
I LOVE how she went traveling and she's aware about our pandemic going on and STILL was humble enough to wear her mask around her Grandma. Shows so much character ❤❤ BTW PLEASE TRY FISH BRAIDS, THEYD LOOK GOOOOGEOUS ON U!!
Yes girl, you have a very unique look about you and it's not the hair people notice, it's you! Gorgeous as ever!!! 🥰🥰🥰 Loved the little moment you and your hubby shared at the end of the video! You are both lucky to have each other!!! 🤗🤗🤗💙💙💙
Your husband is amazing!!! Y’all are so sweet together!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 I love the reason you got dreads I think that’s amazing I hope all that you learned on that journey stays with you even though the dreads are gone!!! From the sound of it that journey wasn’t just yours but your whole family and y’all all learned from it!!! Such an amazing loving family!!!💕💕💕💕💕💖💖💖 with or with out the dreads you’re gorgeous inside and out!!!
Your whole family is just spectacular, hun. Your chosen family, your grandma, and Jeremy and the boys. You radiate love and good energy, it is just so beautiful to see. Thank you RU-vid algorithm for blessing me with Christina a couple weeks ago.
I loved your locks so much. I used to think locks were gross and you were the one that actually made me love them and see the beauty in them on others .... but I really love your new natural hair so much too 💙 a natural beauty can pull off ANYthing & that natural beauty is youuuuuu. From the inside out. Loved coming along with you on this journey!!
I feel like i can relate to u on a whole new level now that you dont have dreads. I brushed mine out and im struggling to re- like what i see without them!
I know how much your dreads meant to you spiritually and this is another new chapter for you. Even what may, to some, be seemingly just a small change is new opportunity to love yourself more. God bless you and your family Christina! 🙏🏻💕
Omg that made me laugh. You haven’t been giving the dogs any treats. Yes they just had some. No you didn’t they are starving. Look at them. 😂. This is the exact same thing my mom says when she comes home after a trip and our dogs are all wanting her attention. 😂
This really put his full reaction into perspective. I’m so glad you shared this part, too. You have such a beautiful family. That baby boy is so precious 🙏🏻
I loved the dreads and was nervous like we were married when you said you were going to take them out. I was scared of how emotional it would be for you and your family. BUT you look amazing either way! I love seeing how much your family loves you, it really warmer my heart ❤
Your hair looks great!! You're so beautiful 🥰 I'm 34, I'll be 35 on October 13th 😳😭 but I found my first white not grey hair 🤬🤣 and my eyebrows have had some white hairs that I pluck out everytime I see them lol 😅
LOL, I love y'all's relationship, y'all remind me of me and my hunny. The other day he came in from work and was like, "Why are you always watching murder mysteries" I said, "So, in case I need to dispose of you, I am learning what not to do" LOL, he knows better but the reaction factor was the best.
It’s not your hair people love you for! And I think you basically look exactly the same way! Especially when you keep flipping it over to the side…..I can’t really even tell but girl it’s your face I would recognize you by….bc you have very strong features! You could put a bald cap on and I would still know it was you! 💜
You look beautiful either way, but your hair is so lovely that I prefer it this way. If you've got it, flaunt it. I don't understand why Jeremy wasn't more complimentary and reassuring.
