its the stock pinion that comes with the blackfoot kit. 18T i believe. It will not wheelie, mostly because the rims slip on the tire when you give it any real throttle. If your wanting to wheelie you could glue the tires to the rims but the blackfoot has nylon gears in the transmission and I don't think they would hold up very long. Also I would recommend the traxxas stampede for having fun with wheelies. Check out my stampede video. The 2wd vxl version wheelies even easier, it's alot of fun
@MrEpic997 i do have both. to be honest it really all depends on the terrain your running the rc on. For example in the sand i prefer a brushless 2wd setup with paddles. On the other hand for steep or wooded terrain i prefer a 4wd. they each have their advantages.
I run my blackfoot xtreme alot. I prefer it more than the stampede. I plan on glueing the tires to the rims because your right they will spin inside the tire. Im not running a castle setup like your using however, it just seems overkill....lol
that makes since, check out my other channel (rcfreak363) i have several of these older tamiyas, and the gears are strong, just look how much surface area they have at the contact patch. did you have both the 7700 and the 6900 motor in this? i noticed in your running video it says 6900. any issues with the temps ether?
yea your right. It is overkill lol. Really good time though. Speed is king. Check out my "Losi speed T on 3s" videos if ya have time. In my opinion the blackfoot handles better at high speeds than the stampede and looks better doin it.
