Ive actually never seen the output on the diff break off like that. Ive had my TRX4 Bronco for a long time. Id have to look in my records to see the purchase date. Anyways, had very very few breakages. Only 1 that i can remember and that was one of the front axles (long side). The servos, all of them, are trash. I ended up just installing spools in my axles like the ones found on the TRX4 Sport and took the whole selectable locker system out. I installed the Hobbywing Axe 3300 kv system in mine when my 21T died. I try to avoid water as much as i can, not because of the electronics or the RC itself but rather the foams.

Yeah they sell a hardened cnc piece. But the stock was so cheap I just got stock replacement. If it happens again I'll look into upgrades.

I definitely don't avoid water lol. I look for it...probably why my bearings are always squeaking.

@@heavymetalrc7520 Talking about that, even never using my TRX4 in water, the bearings in my servo got so bad that they gave up and killed my servo. I wish i had noticed it sooner, but it was an internal bearing that rusted, then broke apart. Was getting a lot of slop in my steering and traced it down to the servo. I pulled the top off of it and a bunch of insanely small bearings fell out. I have replacements so i tried to get the race out of the gear cover but it was rusted in there so the case got destroyed trying to remove it. Now i got a $30 servo in it that isnt nearly as fast and even sometimes get hessitation. My old servo was a PowerHD DW25-LV i think it was but has been long since discontinued. Ive been on the lookout for a servo with similar specs that is below $100 (the power HD was $65) but anything similar is about $175.

Sick, welcome to the high trail club! I have the Red one too. You see the new high-trail Ford body? It's pretty nice. I put the 3800kv castle slate drive crawler motor Mamba X ESC combo. It freaking crawls so slow and in second gear it is so fast. I launch mine at the skate park. It comes back in one piece more than my dedicated bashers do, lol. Traxxas built them almost bulletproof. Definitely a cool video, I watched it all.

Took me a year and a half to burn up the motor in my TRX4. STILL running stock servos. Between me and the toddler we haven't been able to break anything. Fusion Pro gave it a whole new life and it's an animal!!

Richard you want brushed or sensored. A sensorless combo like the one your talking about will be crap for crawling. The hobbywing 2 in 1 or the hobbywing axe combo us great for crawling or the stock brushed is also great

@@RichardJoashTan can confirm what Heavy Metal RC said. I have both Hobbywing Fusion Pro and Fusion SE as well as an Axe system I got from him and they're all excellent crawler systems. An unsensored Velineon would be doodoo for this application.
