Look up Ward Jene Stroud if you want to see the true potential of Brusho painting - & also how you can gain some control of the crystals. I painted a beautiful dragonfly inspired by his & using his sprinkling technique & was so pleased with the result. Enjoy the chaos! But beware that the crystals literally get everywhere!!! If you are sprinkling generously, try using a shallow box to contain them. Or ensure you mist your surface with water to clean it & you’ll find out how sneaky they are at escaping lol.
Looks like a major storm is brewing. Very cool. I have some brushos that I won and still haven’t used them. Not sure why because they look like a lot of fun. Kind of like alcohol inks. Your picture came out great.
You always come up with such interesting techniques and products. I wonder how much difference there is with Brusho versus w/c pencils used with a tea strainer? Which do you think "melt" better? Just curious - you always get me thinking! TFS
What a spectacular painting! Looks like you spent hours creating the sky & foreground instead of sprinkling Brusho magic. Does bleach affect the archival quality?
Yes the brushes would get eaten. Use old ones, I also have some formerly-good ones that finally started to lose bristles and jeep those for crazy uses like this.
Hi Sandy I am fairly new to your videos Brusho particularly sparked my interest How ever I cannot find the rest of your videos I found the one that introduces but you speak of two others Then I found the one landscape with dramatic sky and farm buildings that you used bleach in Could you direct me to the others or send a link please?
