The sound is pretty clear on live. Saw them on their very first gig and then again in January this year, loads of progress on all levels. I'm ready for third ceremony anytime :)
Finally amazing Batushka video. Thanks to everyone who mixed sound for this recording. Always best video production on this channel. I wish full sets to appear some day.
@@diegomaldonado3040 Los acabo de ver (el Martes) en Manchester, me desplacé desde Londres. Con una buena sala suenan igual… mejor que en el disco. La puesta en escena ya la has visto, espectacular.
So which version of the band is this, Krzysztof or the backing singer who stole the project from little i looked into it. Also there's bunch of releases on bandcamp which also makes me ask, which version of the band released records after the first record?
@@gamingforfun9000 Both of the Batushka's "new" versions released. The Bart's Batushka (the guy who stole the project) released Raskol, Pismo, Black Something and Hospodi. The Krzysztof's Batushka (the original, true mastermind of the band) released only Panihida. Edit: as the guy already answered, the band on this video here is the former band, with Bart and Derph, before all the beef.
Band to drummer: Hey, you wanna play some black metal? Like tons of blasting and double bass? Drummer: Hell yeah! Band: Cool, cool, yeah you'll be a wearing a huge blanket and a thick face mask, it'll be like a million degrees, it'll be awesome! Drummer: ...
The new Batushka Instagram had to disable their comment section because I guess fans they didn’t find their story of Kris leaving the band to them believable. I hope kris gets his ban back
I read the statement from their drummer, saying that what makes this band special is their stage presence. I totally disagree. For me, it is music. It is dark, atmospheric and beautiful. The churchlike vocals work so well in the way you would not expect. So, I am here for the music. However, the stage presence is insane as well. It is simply interesting to watch them. All the equipment and stuff are great. Totally worth all the investment. But again, Batushka's music is the meat!!!
@@georgewheeler1566 I disagree. Bart is an exceptional black metal vocalist and without his energetic shrieks this band would not be the same. Not to mention without him there would not be live shows, stage equipment, promotion, etc.
@@PatrizzaEatsApizza I totally get your point, but I still think Batushka is musically talented enough to not have NEEDED the elaborate robes ect... They're not Ghost B.C in that they look cool but their music sucks, they actually sound great... And Bart's vocals are perfect for Black Metal, true, but Black Metal vocalist are easier to come by then great drummers, guitarists,ect... I think we can all agree they should've just put their differences aside and continue to make awesome albums together... Thanks for the input and Hail Satan👺🔫
The drummer is absolutely killing it. That snare is a machine gun. Incredible speed , power and blast volume. I've always had a liking for Polish drummers since the days of Doc. Years down the line, they're still as brutal and amazing as he was.
When I saw this band I was so amazed. Their live performance gave me a feeling I've never had before at a show. It was almost spiritual. Couldn't stop thinking about it for the days that followed. If you're in the position to check them out, DO IT, and thank me later. They are incredible live.
Life changing experience being there. Almost shed tears how atmospheric the show was, plus huge plus for the fest for doing all the HQ sound effects and uploads the same quality for the people to make them nostalgic as fuck. I love you Brutal Assault and although I'm not there right now as we speak, I am coming back for 24!!!
I really like the combination of black metal screaming and church choir chanting they have going, with actual dynamics, and are those 8-string guitars I hear? i like how the guitarists have a variety of riffing styles happening to compliment each other, too. Gotta get this album at some point!
I was really looking forward to seeing Batushka at BA 2017, so I stayed awake to see them come on. My next memory is the event staff waking me up cos I was asleep on the gravel. I'd been up since 3am
Sergio Alvarez That's a mistake most of the people make, specially in the Metal genre. I don't care if my favorite black metal band gets out there and plays in tutu and and ballet shoes, if they make good music I'll be there because of their music, I don't care what they look or how they dress, and I like both Ghost (even in this pop kind of thing phase) and my death and black metal bands. In regards of Ghost's gimmick, they dress like that because the band started as a heavy/doom metal band, and their lyrics were (still but not that much) pretty satanic.
Both bands are amazing. Why people always want to compare bands? .... in my opinion the metal and rock n roll world need more bands like Ghost n Batushka
