Don’t have to, but it is a lot more efficient to load the engine and match the rpm to that of the lowet gear. Specially if riding sporty hehe

Yes sir, it wasn’t horrible for the GoPro, I have a foam cover for the wind noise. But I’m trying to dial in the settings with the Handy H1n Recorder to be able to record separately from the gopro and get pure sound.

Hi Aleksandr! Thanks for the subscription and support, glad you love the bike! So the honest truth is the following: the exhaust is extremely hot (I have the shape of the heat shield tattooed on my calf) however the cat delete (zard header) reduced the heat to the point where it is very tolerable. I’ve done 2,000+ km trips with a passenger and no issues, the only thing is the wind is annoying at highway speeds like any other naked bike without a big front fairing. I wouldn’t install the Zard slipon exhaust again (it is too loud for me). The gears are fine as the bike has multiple engine maps that modulate the throttle and gearing (I use highway mode for road ) and it is perfect!

@@tractioncontrol_off Thank you for your informative answer! Hot exhaust is the problem that worries me the most about this great bike (. Tell me, is it possible to install a zard header with exhaust from another manufacturer, or is it only compatible with exhaust from ZARD?

@@aleksandrmatrosov1873 I did the decat before the slipons, so I know it is 100% compatible with the stock exhaust as well, but don’t know if it is compatible with other exhausts out there (Arrow, SP Engineering, etc.) Also, there are a few other manufacturers for the decat: Verex, Free Spirits. @@tractioncontrol_off I had a 900 scrambler which I traded in for the XE and kept the Vance and Hines that I bought for it. The Vance and Hines was basically a straight fit other than having to drill out the spacer that came as standard with the V&H and buy a M16 X 1.5 fine pitched Allen bolt of the right length off of e bay to mount it. I will send over a couple of images. Personally I think it looks great and sounds great. Does not look out of place.

@@mohammedmubarak5032 Mohammed! I’m sorry for not replying sooner, the exhaust system is the Zard 2-into-2 Slipon (Stainless Steel) combined with the Zard decat header. I got them directly from Zard’s website. I will say that if you get the exhaust I would recommend keeping the db-killers installed, as it is extremely ** loud without them, and you really can’t tell from the video! Cheers!
