Can't say "hate" but for me World of warcraft 😅As I got older I cant really enjoy RPG's anymore. no interest in spending time grinding to get loot or money and stuff. been playing racing games for 2-3 years now and really having fun.
@maxtoussaint6671 Thanks for sharing your thoughts, @maxtoussaint6671! It's interesting to see how our gaming preferences evolve over time. Many of us find that the games we once loved don't hold the same appeal as we get older. It's great to hear you've found joy in racing games over the past few years. The direct, adrenaline-fueled action of racing games can be a refreshing change from the grind of RPGs. What's your current favorite racing game? Always exciting to hear about what's captivating our community!😊
@@ProjectSimRacing I remember playing NFS and Midnight Club when I was younger but then I forgot about racing games somehow. As funny as it is, F1 "Drive to survive" series sparked my interest for racing again. So I tried F12020 and loved it, bought a logitech wheel and discovered rally racing not long after. Tried DR2.0 and fell in love with it. I tried a couple other rally games but I'd say EA WRC is on par with the feelings it gives me when I drive, so those 2 would be my favorites. But I love to race tracks in ACC and F123 every now and then. FH 5 is also a fun way to relax, mod cars and enjoy driving on open roads. That would be my top 5 at the moment 😄
@maxtoussaint6671 Great story, @maxtoussaint6671! It's fascinating how different experiences, like the 'Drive to Survive' series, can reignite our passion for racing. It's awesome that you transitioned from F1 2020 to the excitement of rally racing with DR 2.0 and EA WRC. It seems you've got a diverse taste in racing games, from the precision of ACC and F1 to the fun and freedom of FH 5. Thanks for sharing your top 5! It's always interesting to hear about the diverse preferences of fellow racers. Do you have a particular track or rally stage that you love the most?
Hi, new subscriber here. Well deserved...awesome driving skills and setup 🤯 My answer is Fortnite...I like some BR-Games but this one is pure trash imo, it's just not my playstyle with all the building elements in it. But to each their own. The biggest disappointment in terms of racing games was definitely Burnout Paradise! Loved Burnout 3 and Revenge so much but Paradise was so daaaamn boring!! Long time ago but it still hurts when I think about it 😄 We need a new good racing game with this sense of speed and crispy takedowns on the current gen consoles/pc!
I have made a comment like this before on his channel and haters were basically, "nuh uh, it is just his FOV settings that make him look fast." Since I watch on a phone, I can literally cover the outer screens with my hands and prove it wrong instantly. He drives cars at near 100% all the time. It is most def a hard thing to do lol
@AaronHendu Thanks so much! Your recognition of the difficulty in what I do means a lot. Let haters talk, and just ignore them. That's what I do😊 I’m glad you both see the effort and skill that goes into it. Thanks for your support💙✌️
@@AaronHendu You say that like we all don't own these sims and aren't just trying to run "experiments" with a phone. He's REALLY good, yes. FOV (especially with triples) has a major impact on the sense of speed, yes. Two things can be true at the same time.
It's watching the feet that always leaves me totally awestruck. Anyone can just use a paddle shifter with two pedals, but being able to use the clutch, left and right foot for brake depending on the situation, heel and toe... Talk about making me feel inadequate! 😂 Seriously though, love your work. Deserves a sub!
Thank you so much @FatherJHackett!🙏💙 Your comment truly means a lot to me. It's all about practice and passion for the sport. The intricacies of using the clutch, heel-toe shifting, and alternating braking techniques definitely add layers to the experience. Don't feel inadequate, though - with time and practice, anyone can master these techniques. I'm thrilled to have you as part of the community and look forward to sharing more content with you. Thanks for the sub and the support!✌️
I was already pretty impressed by the quick reactions you had but then I realized you did this with clutch and H pattern gearbox. Great technique, amazing video
just perfect ,,, i'm now sad with my series x xbox console 🤣 love youre video, that immersion shaking .make me dreaming. Big tank you for youre sharing video reference. now !!
Hopefully gonna get my new DD wheel this christmas. I have been watching your videos over and over just so I can get a "feel" on how to drive fast in wrc/ dirt rally😅. Keep up the good videos bro.
Thanks so much for your support, @angcharap5617! It's awesome to hear that my videos are helping you get a feel for driving fast in WRC/Dirt Rally. Getting a new DD wheel is going to be a game-changer for your sim racing experience. The level of realism and feedback it provides is incredible. If you have any questions about setting it up or getting the most out of it, feel free to ask😊✌️
I've been a huge rally fan ever since I played Dirt 2 as a kid and WRC is my first serious foray into simulation-type rally games. Came across your gameplay vids while searching for people who are experts. Really good content man, I just subscribed!
Ok so iv tried a few different ways in the in-game settings and what i have came up with is this : FANATEC DD and G29 tested for this Im running 540 degrees for a more agressive and "dive in" style when cornering. ( You can run 900-1080 just fine if you want to, but i would lower the steering linearity even more) STEERING LINEARITY : -2 SELF ALIGN TORQUE : 100 ( Im running this on my 5nm base, lower or higher it if you want to fight more or less ) WHEEL FRICTION : 70 TYRE FRICTION : 60 SUSPENSION : 65 TYRE SLIP : 100 ENGINE : 100 ( Lower if you want to) COLLISION : 50 SOFTLOCK : 65 Center force Enabled (Not a must)
Thanks again for the settings @Shwiizgaar! Will definitely give them a try, but I will keep soft-lock om. Even if it's not as easy as running at 540 degrees (aspecialy on older cars), I feel it adds to the immersion 🙂 But I really appreciate you taking the time to write those settings🙂👍
Большое спасибо, @_plasticarmor_8789! Я очень рад, что вам так понравились видео и мой кокпит. Моя цель - создать ощущение настоящей гонки. Ваш комментарий действительно сделал мой день! 😊💙✌️
amazing ! You give me the feeling that this is not a game 😂, very real, it makes me urge to follow you, you know❤. I have a question, can I ask for the name of the full combo you are using?
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! 🙏💙 That's exactly what I'm trying to do😁 give the feeling that this is real. If you are referring to my steering wheel, you can find everything in the video description. The wheel base, steering wheel, pedals, everything 😊
Haha Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! That's exactly what I'm trying to make it look as, but it's not real life😁 I'm filming my triple 55" OLED TVs while playing with a GoPro mounted on a helmet. So what you see in the videos is exactly what I see while playing 😊🙌
Thanks, @kozmik4293! 😄 It definitely adds an extra layer of challenge and realism using manual H-shifting with the clutch and left-foot braking. Always aiming to make the sim racing experience as immersive as possible. Glad you noticed and enjoyed it!🙌
Welcome to my country, Croatia! Does the car slide on ice/snow like in Monte carlo rally? Haven't still played on snow other than Monte. Is possible to have combination gravel+snow? Are the physics different than asphalt+snow?
@jacquesjtheripper5922 most comes from me just driving around and the fact that I have my rig on Slip-Angle lsolators 😊 But I will get a real motion system soon (hopefully) 🙂
It depends, on some stages (like this one) it only takes a couple of tries to get the perfect run. On other stages, it takes a bit more😄 But I do listen to the co-pilot. That helps a lot👍🙂
I did Swedan last night. The last run was 21 Km with similar conditions. I could barely see 10 metres in front of me. My grandmother drives faster than I did 😂
Those long runs in tough conditions like in Sweden can be intense, especially with limited visibility. It's all about taking it steady and safe, just like your grandmother might advise! 😄
😁 Thank you! I use a helmet mounted GoPro and this setup to make my videos ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PmI0VHUsQpY.htmlsi=7Fc-5s2LrIk-WcK8😊
@WhoIsKeviono no, you can hide the in-game steering wheel. That's my steering wheel and hands you see there😉 I use a helmet mounted GoPro and this setup to make my videos ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PmI0VHUsQpY.htmlsi=7Fc-5s2LrIk-WcK8
Are the wipers automatic? If not, have you tried the race without? Does it affect your performance one way or another? Any visual changes? Great Driving.
Experience the Magic with Fanatec Formula V2.5 and Similar Wheels My Ultimate Setup for WRC Rally Hello all WRC Rally 2023 players, I wanted to share my setup and settings that I use on my Xbox Series X. I've found these settings to provide the best experience, especially the FFS setting which I find extremely important. Here are my settings: Wheel Setup: - Fanatec Clubsport Steering Wheel Formula V2.5 X + QR 1 - Podium Advanced Paddle Module (6 paddles) - Button caps and sticker set Wheel Base: - Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base (8Nm + 5Nm) Pedals: - Fanatec Clubsport Pedals V3 - Brake Performance Kit - Damper Kit Wheel Base Settings: - SEN: 360 - FFB: 100 - FFS: LINEAR (IMPORTANT) - NDP: 20 - NFR: 10 - NIN: 20 - INT: 3 - FEI: 100 - BLI: 65 - SHO: ON - MPS: AUTO - BRF: 50 Game Settings: - Steering Linearity: 2 - Soft Lock: On - Vibration and Feedback: On - Self Aligning Torque: 58 - Suspension: 125 - Tyre Slip: 90 - Engine: 50 - Collision: 100 - Soft Lock: 75 - Steering Centre Force: On I hope these settings help you enhance your experience in WRC Rally 2023!
Thank you so much! The perspective you see comes from the way I film with a helmet mounted GoPro using this setup 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_BNNc7JcLVM.htmlsi=mG9_RZ_XtRTJ-NaD
Not really 😝 I have my rig on Slip-Angle lsolators so the rig does move from me driving. And my GoPro is mounted on a helmet that's on my head while driving. So that provides a lot of natural movement 😊 But I will buy a motion system soon👍🙂
I do both 😁. I always do a couple of runs just to get myself familiar with the stage, but that's nowhere near enough to learn the stage. So I do listen to the co-pilot 🙂
I really don't get the flak that this game is getting. It is simply the best Rally game on the market and one of the best racers around. It feels good, runs great and is fun to play.
I think the majority of the flak isn't against the game itself, rather it's against EA for pushing Codemasters to release the game too early when it clearly needed more time to polish out the performance issues among other things. Yet people continue to support this type of behavior by pre-ordering en masse, therefore publishers will continue to release unfinished products.
I totally agree with both of your points, @ironmarshall1963 and @Phade91. 🙂 The game itself is indeed one of the best in the rally genre - it's very enjoyable! However, like @Phade91 mentioned, the main issue seems to be the early release and subsequent performance problems. It's clear that Codemasters is passionate about creating a great experience for us, and with a bit more time, I'm confident they'll polish the game to its full potential. Let's hope for continued improvements!🤞
@@ProjectSimRacing I will give credit to content creators like yourself who show us what the game is like before we make a decision to purchase or not, so thank you. Without people like you, all of our trust would be in that of companies who lie to us to get more pre-orders and only see us as numbers on their profit charts. As you said this game does look very promising and very fun! But I will wait for performance improvements, proper Moza support and true triple screen support - which will hopefully come sooner rather than later 🤞
Appreciate that @Phade91! Content creators indeed play a crucial role in informing the community. It's a collective effort to push for a polished gaming experience. Fingers crossed for those updates and enhanced support! 🤞
Great video again. I have a question, is this car meant to be driving sequential or with the H pattern shifter + clutch ? I see your using it with your H pattern shifter, my guess is older vehicles are with this type of gearbox, and newer one with a standard up down sequential, thanks.
Thank you so much, @tapidlittle13! Your support means a lot! 😊 You're right about the gearboxes. I do love getting the details right, so I always check the type of gearbox each car originally had. In the game menu, when you select a car, you can see the gearbox type indicated in the left corner. This helps me decide whether to use the H pattern shifter or a sequential one, just like the actual car. It's all about that authentic experience! Older vehicles often use the H pattern, while newer ones typically have a sequential gearbox. Thanks for noticing the details, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!✌️
I feel the same, I'm 100% with the authentic experience, I have a sequential shifter (from SG-racing) and a H pattern (Moza), but I didn't see in the menus a way to set both at the same time, like in DR 2.0. It's either sequential OR H pattern, anyway no big deal. I can see you are using the heel and toe technique for downshifting, you manage it very well, not easy to master!
You've got an impressive setup with both the SG-racing sequential shifter and the Moza H pattern😍 You're right, currently in WRC 23, we don't have the option to set both shifters simultaneously like in DR 2.0🙄 Thanks for the compliment on the heel-and-toe technique! It's definitely not easy, but practice makes perfect😊
Absolutely, @kiddingh9874! There's been a significant improvement in fps and reduced stuttering since the patch. Some stages are now completely stutter-free for me, which is fantastic. While there are still a few with some stuttering issues, like the one in the video, the overall improvement is quite noticeable. It's great to see these enhancements in the game's performance!😊
Nice! You like it? I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings. I haven't found anything better yet. I was waiting on you 😝🤣
@@ProjectSimRacing mixed thoughts on the game, i want to like it, but i cant get the same feeling as dirt2.0! Ill deep into it asap and share a setup :)
Is the warping/distortion of the side monitors as bad in this game as it is in DR2? I have problems with motion sickness in dr when looking at those side monitors.
To be honest, if triple screen support causes a hit on performance (which it will), I am more than happy to keep playing on single screen stretched as warping is hardly noticeable and really adds to the sense of speed.
I respect your viewpoint, @ironmarshall1963, but I have to offer a different perspective. The lack of triple screen support in the game is a significant issue for those of us who use such setups. While it's true that running a game on three screens will impact performance due to the increased demand for rendering more pixels, I believe it's essential to provide players with the option. Gamers with triple screen setups are generally prepared for these hardware demands and should have the choice to utilize their setup to its fullest. It’s about giving players the flexibility to tailor their gaming experience according to their hardware capabilities.
Absolutely, @bigplayafps! The Fanatec CSL DD is definitely one of the best wheels you can get for the price, if not the best. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a high-quality racing experience without breaking the bank! They also offer a massive price discount with theyr ready to race bundle here fanatec.com/eu-en/ready2race/?_gl=1*1iq9uzr*_up*MQ..*_ga*NjkxNDQ4NjQ5LjE2OTU2ODMwNjM.*_ga_Q6VYC4JPVE*MTY5NTY4MzA2Mi4xLjAuMTY5NTY4MzA2Mi4wLjAuMA..&FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2
You're welcome, mate! I suggest watching lots of reviews for both options to form your own opinion. Some of the best reviewers on RU-vid are @boostedmedia and @simracinggarage3026
My rig is set on Slip-Angle Isolators, which allow it to move slightly as I drive. Additionally, the camera is mounted on a helmet on my head, which creates the impression of a motion system in the videos. But it's not a full motion system - not yet, at least 😁
At my desk, I only use it to edit and play other games on it. You can see it in my setup tour video here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_BNNc7JcLVM.htmlsi=mG9_RZ_XtRTJ-NaD
As you can see in the video, not all the road is covered in snow, which explains the better grip. I try to strategically drive on the drier parts of the road to maintain traction
@@ProjectSimRacing I see that of course, but I know what it means to have only just the patches of snow on the road from a real life: bad grip, no matter what. And this is very badly done is this (arcade) game.
Appreciate your perspective, @MitjaBonca 👍. I do see where you're coming from, but my experience in the game has been different. Every time I hit the snow patches, I noticed a significant loss of grip. The challenge for me was indeed avoiding these patches. This aspect, in my view, adds to the game's realism. While there's always room for improvement and I hope future updates will enhance the experience, labeling it as an 'arcade' game might be a bit of a stretch. The nuances in handling conditions do reflect a more realistic approach.
Hey @rossconroy1674, that's a fascinating question! Absolutely, with proper training and experience, a human can achieve impressive speeds in real-life racing, similar to what's seen in sim racing. The skills developed in sim racing, like quick reflexes, understanding racing lines, and car control, are highly transferable to real-world racing. As for being approached by real racing teams, that hasn’t happened yet, but it's a dream for many sim racers! The transition from sim to real racing has become more common, and it's amazing to see sim racers making that leap. Who knows what the future holds? 😉 Thanks for your comment and for watching the video!🙂✌️
@@ProjectSimRacing Do you have a particular force feed back setting that enables such precision? My hands fall over thenselves sometimes in tight flicks. Any advice?
