Brutally Attack: The US F-35 fighter jets conducted bomb strikes in the South China Sea.
Philippine forces, four F-35B stealth aircraft from the US Marine Corps (USMC) launched seven JDAM GBU-32-500 guided bombs against targets off the west coast of Luzon in the South China Sea. A C-130J in orbit close to the operating area received orders to relay intelligence from unmanned aircraft of the Philippine Navy and Air Force during the aforementioned exercise. Two F-22A Raptors from the United States Air Force's 199th Fighter Squadron were also on hand to conduct defensive combat air patrols for the Marine Corps planes. The Philippine Marine Corps, as a prominent unit in one of Manila's rearmament and modernization initiatives, places a premium on such joint operations with U.S. military forces.
