Hybe being a dance company is so true, their interest in vocals is so low... they only want dances and visual... so bad

and also Please bring back positions it makes it easier to see what is one person's strength and what is someone's weakness like come on now we're not gonna have Eunchae as main vocalist or Miyeon as main rapper like come on now

I don't think Rosé should start using more colours... but recently her image keeps the same way... i feel like it's more a lack of facial expressions than outfits colors... i saw a recent photoshoot were she's wearing pink and has curly hair, but her face is this--> 😐 in every single shot So maybe is that what she needs to change, 'cause even when performing she lacks facial expressions And i wish she let her hair go back to brown or black, it looks so damage already 😢

For the bonus opinion- they didn’t really improve(-Yunjin) the backtrack was just louder. This is not hate to lesserafim but being real, Hype just used a louder back track and you could tell with the way Eunchae’s tone of voice changed, same with the other members. Also, Hype is suing Min Heejin(Ador CEO) for leaking contracts and trading secrets. There’s more to it but I can’t really remember rn.

That apology Sakura gave was much better coming from Eunchae. How can someone whos been in the industry for idk how many years still not hold a note. We're not expecting her to be a Mariah Carey, but have a decent level of vocals. Heck if her voice is that bad, she shouldve ventured into rapping. But no....lets applaud her for doing her best😅

unpopular opinion: why can't we just have exeptional singing and rapping and also exceptional dancing like in the west we have Ciara, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Usher, chris Brown and so many others even in the Kpop industry we have BoA Chungha and Taemin Idols that can carry Amazing vocals and also get down like this shit is the companies fault and I kinda think that if companies started listening to more opinions from fans like me or @Rosiary K-pop coul be way better

People who take pride in "speaking the brutal truth" love the brutality more than the truth. "Speaking the truth" is the mask for brutality and bullying. How difficult is it to be so visciously hated as an idol? Only they know but many have ended their lives because of it so if an idol responds to the hate then THAT just becomes another reason to hate on them. Constructive criticism isn't such remarks about Sakura as "get her a pacifier." Sakura is the oldest and plays the role of "mother" to the group. She is not simply speaking for herself but for the members such as her beloved Eunchae who is the youngest and most sensitive. It must hurt her mother's heart to see how hurt Eunchae is with the hate comments. Sakura doesn't need a pacifier but content creators think they understand when all they want to do is hate. "Needs a pacifier" is meant to degrade and humiliate and nothing else. Again, enjoying the brutality more than the truth. Idols are human and not perfect. The content creators act as if they are perfect so feel justified in crucifying idols doing their best to bring joy to people instead of being like content creators who spread hate.😢😮

I love how theres no set positions in groups, bc it was getting quite tiresome of ppl complaining about not enough dance breaks, line distribution, etc. But it seems like ppl are complaining still, if not more.

Honestly not everyone gets good at something because they practice. I like Sakura but I think she will never be a good vocalist.

agree with you on the second opinion but i think set position might hold idols back from their actual potential because they're sticked to that title of being a "main dancer" or "main vocal". and sometimes people only look at the position of the idol in the group and accidentally overlook other aspects. also, they can always improve or regress, so i think the title will not be accurate as the group grow.

Personally, I think removing positions is removing a very important part of kpop’s essence. It’s another thing that makes kpop seems more like western industry than kpop itself. It was great to know what everyone trained for and what everyone is good on. It’s also a way of recognizing their own individualities and talents. Shows that they are a group and everyone bring something they are good at and trained for. Imagine if Taeyeon never became a main vocal, if Momo never became a main dancer, if Yoona and Suzy weren’t the visuals of nation (eventho when it comes to visual I don’t think is a necessary position). It’s by no means something that define who is getting good lines/spotlight or not because is not for being a main vocal that you will always get most lines and high notes just like non-main dancers can do the breakdance and non-main rappers can lead the rap part. It’s not about limiting them unlike many people think. It’s about individuality. It’s not only the positions getting removed but also the members getting less talented!!!! They say everyone in their group can be everything such as the main vocal, for example, when almost no one can or barely 1/2.

i dont hate idols as people, I just hate the idea that theyve become so subdued kind of like primadonna footballers have in modern times. not all of them ofc, but a lot of them seem to have a bit of an ego where they maybe expect to be worshipped for doing the bare fucking minimum, im sure theyre nice off camera however sometimes some of them do come across as being diva like and expect the world to revolve around themselves. as though kpop is the only genre of music out there currently.its bit annoying, and the fact that idols who clearly need improvements and i can think of many dont seem to be doing anything towards it to imorove said vocals even if they insecure. i dont care everyone got insecurities everyone got flaws everyone got an ego at some point. what i cant stand is how these idols who maybe get themselves into doo doo because of their lacking vocals simply dont see themselves as an issue. they can have charisma and beauty but at the end of the day thats not why i follow someone in a music group, clue being music. also some solo songs wind up being worse bc of the idol lacking vocals too and its such a waste like if i was sakura, jimin, momo id do anytning to prove i could sing well of any genre not just kpop/pop. they really are kept in a little bubble where they dont know too much about anything besides what they been taught to perform as and its kind of s shame cause they could have much to show for but some idols even if theyre the most popular can fall back on. i try to get into most of their songs but it always the vocals that or the imperfections are much too edited in the song itself so like in most pop songs its overly smoothed out with nothing to really connect to it bc the idols have to be so pristine on the outside and then their songs have to be pristine on the inside of their songs so sometimes its a hard to always feel connected to them bc it feels like an empty hollow song unless they really putting they emotions into it. something that kpop groups do lack bc they have to always give high energy dance choreo type performances. i like groups who can give variety if they can sing slow songs or high energy well theyll get my attention but i cant expect to worship everything abt them at 1000% level 24/7 its tiring bruh. i already done that with one direction and looking back they were average performers too yet 15 yr old me shouldve expected more from them. same with kpop most kpop stans seem to have not helped kpop by setting the bar so low that they get mediocricity and they are like yeah it fine no problem so it make it seem like people blindly follow group for anything but music or vocal abilities. ateez recently raised the bar now they struggling to find trainees to fit these so called standards but they also fail to help improve the groups they currently have and keep debuting more younger groups which leave little to no impressions bc like i dont get why kpop is being so stuck up esp about ages? id like full on variety but it not always delivering that yaknow i have to look for other genre or groups or bands often to get variety but kpop be like nahhh they good they dont need to improve nothing not even the way they treat the idols and tbh idols do seem more like a mascot than performer if that make sense? kpop be more bothered about if the idols are doing so much on social media than helping to boost the skills of the idols if that makes sense? i can love an idol but i aint going to worship them for bad vocals sorry bruh, its like supporting a football club that won nothing? bit pointless.

Opinion 3 is kinda inaccurate as groups such as Enhypen,Seventeen and TXT have been proven to be allrounders being able to have stage presence and powerful moves with stable vocals. I do agree that they do focus on the performance more tho.Also the fact that sakura has been around since a decade or so and still serves us nothing is honestly pathetic and her response did not make it better.

I need a group in Kpop that will be popular mainly because of their music - not because of scandals, visuals, concepts, clothes, dances, etc. I need an idol kinda like Ariana, The Weeknd, Travis, Bieber, etc. Someone who releases a full album with over 20 songs, have a world tour after it, and the next year or after two years releases a second and so on. When I look at my fav western artists discography, there are like 5-10 full albums in their career, each being about them and their experiences (love, break up, loss, etc) and their careers are like 10-15 years long. They don't have that many songs as some Kpop groups because each album really takes time to provide the artist's vision. This is the reason why western artists are popular because of their music and when you say that you like or dislike someone it is mainly because of your music taste, not because of anything else.

Actually I liked that techno and cyber neon image aproach for the girls of aespa. I, at the start, did not liked their music and that they rarely sing live but their style, clothes and visual concepts are since day one amazing. It is time for the girls to return to Kwanga, bring back the neons, the holografic, the satins, leathers, transparencies and cyber image for them.

I think us kpop stans are the reason why Kpop idols hate there job- They get massive hate for either vaild or none vaild reasons yall get mad when someone over prefromes under performs etc. Instead of hating MAYBEE we should be GOOD HUMAN BEINGS and at least try to understand that being a Kpop Idol comes with its perks and disadvantages. But if a member is a main dancer but they sing in songs, they still have to be decent or good. Like, ok, you’re the main dancer, that doesn’t mean you should sound horrible!

The way I’ve been waiting for these specific opinions. And the interactive mv idea is literally so cool! Thats why Itzy’s Cheshire mv is still one of my favs. It just feels so interactive with the visual effects and scenes. But it would’ve been even more awesome if they experimented on that more and made it more interactive with the watchers, like making different choices that change the outcome of the mv like you said
