So here we have another instalment of the Brutally Honest Reviews, and we have Nicole's Hawkeye 2.5 Subaru WRX.
Its been a while since we have had a subaru on the channel, and ive never actually done a review on one! Since i owned a Subaru, i never actually thought you guys wanted a review, but it has been requested...
so heres one!
I will be doing an STI soon, so it will be good to compare this WRX against the STI.
So watch the video to see what it think of the 2.5 WRX,

I have a Evo IX and I prefer it to the Subaru, however, I think the Subaru's sound better than the Evo. For five grand the above Subaru is really a great car.

Pedders are an aussie brand. Very popular on off road 4x4 rigs. Nice to see sheep house lane and rivington getting used as It should. I used to fly over there in my sti.

Ace review Lee, & yeah best looking Scooby's these hawkeyes IMO. Always think our EVO's rear end looks better than the Scooby's though. As you seemed to found the suspension more supple than our EVO's, do you think they make a faster b road car over bumps & change of cambers etc & feel more stable pushing harder & less twitchy than the EVO's? Cheers

Steve SAS they’re definitely more forgiving than the evo, the scooby would deffo deal with bumps and little elevation changes better than the evo.. but on a flat road the evo is superior

srry if i missed it, but you never said if this was a wrx or sti? but when u said it has a td04 turbo then it must be a wrx, need to test a nice jdm sti. there is a massive difference from the wrx to the sti

nice review lee, it looks a nice well cared for example and mapped by 1 of the best in the subaru scene. the 2.5 engine in stock form is shite, its a time bomb HOWEVER once built right its a fantastic fast road engine, i have a hawkeye sti with a built 2.5 running the standard vf43 turbo it makes 352bhp and 375ftlbs and there is 0 lag

2.5 was not liked cause it likes blowing up, especially if you start asking more of it. Nice car keep on looking at Spec C's but i would have to sell my westfield to make room. The lure is not strong enough yet

Always loved Scoobys more than Mitsubishi because the interior look to boring compared to the scooby but loved the looks of them tho. The Hawk for me is the best looking.
