Hey Jeff, at around 5:00 you can hear a lot of background talking. I think you accidentally left some of the pre-race conversation audio overlaid. Looking forward to the 360 cam video!
hey man! Could you share how exactly you mounted the camera? :) currently trying to decide between the acepro and the X4, but I'm struggling with the best angle and I love yours!
Personally I’m gonna really miss the old cam if it’s gone forever. It felt more immersive, more first person POV than this, with a great sense of speed, and without these very weird distortions.. just my 2 cents
Like the 360. Interesting to see how quickly you’re sat down after attacks etc. adds a level of information we didn’t get before. Great video as always
Great race and congrats. Blane was screwed either way because presumably he can't beat you in the sprint, even if he decided to rest and sit off your wheel after leading so many Km's. Digging the camera. Pretty amazing tech.
The thing is if blane had sat up they would've been caught by the field and the other bears would have countered and probably won. So yes, blane wasn't winning the race anymore, but his teammates were defenitly in a position to win
@@nielsdenhollander I don't think Blane's teammates can out sprint Jeff but hard to know. Seems to be a dubious strategy employed by Blane as the purpose to bring a team it to provide cover at the expense of other teammates which are sacrificial. Provide a draft to Blane until last couple of kilometers and then Blane opens the throttle and does his TT thing at high sustained wattage but wattage underneath a full on sprint he might not have the power for. Might still not be enough if Jeff can stay in the mix and then sprint in the end. Lance Armstrong comes to mind who was no sprinter. His team protected him taking turns pulling out front as Lance stayed in a cocoon of his team's draft staying relatively fresh and then near of the end of race, he was uncatchable. Lance didn't win stages by outsprinting people. He was admittedly a slow twitch rider.
@@lukewalker1051 as soon as Jeff jumped across, I took a huge chop on the front to try to bring the two of them back and set up Jerome for the sprint because I figured Blaine wouldn't be able to outsprint Jeff 1v1, it just didn't work out in the end.
@NorCalCycling hi, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger about the X4 for this weekend’s race. You mount it on the computer mount? How pls? What do I need to get? Thx a lot!
Are the other guys just there to train? Do they all want to be your friend? Or are they just not that smart tactically? First Donny chasing Blaine down for you. Then two (!) Thirsty Bear riders on your wheel letting you ride off to Blaine. And then Blain pulling you to the line. Pretty insane stuff.
I love the content. However, I don't understand how cars are never on the road on your side of the street. How is everything so clear every time you ride?
I love all the different views from the 360 cam., but it sure does make it hard to judge distances. It would be cool if you could mix in photos from a normal perspective here and there. Someone needs to make a light 50mm camera with bluetooth that can send snapshots to your phone.
360 camera is sweet. I'd love to hear a bit of race footage during a few of the rides to see how noisy yours and other freewheels are. It would be slightly hard to be a ninja with some of the noisy freewheels out there. Stealth ftw.
