Ok, I have heard just as many wrestlers criticize Beefcake as Warrior. You hear no one say Beefcake could wrestle. Personally I liked him, but he wasn't the most liked guy in the locker room either. In addition, if I am Vince and I run a wrestling organization it is better to have two Hogans than one. You have to have worthy challengers for the champion so yes he built the Warrior up, but it is not because Warrior is his buddy. In fact, in the end Vince was closer to Hogan than Warrior. But as far as Warrior being booed when he beat Hogan. I was at the Undertaker vs Hogan Survivor series match Hogan was booed there. So it goes both ways. People pick their favorites. You have people cheer and you have people boo on both sides.
I was a boy at this time, and Warrior was all I wanted to see. I quit watching big time wrestling after about 92-93, then was over the moon when he made his short comeback. Brutus is full of crap!
If Ed wants to get his facts straight, the skydome erupted when Jim won as most in the crowd were cheering for both of them. As a matter of fact, after Terry went over and handed the belt to Jim. There was not a boo anyone could hear as Terry effectively passed the torch to get everyone to support Jim. I understand Ed views Terry as an older brother and owes most of his career to Terry but he is way off here.
I liked both of them a lot as a kid. Honestly I probably liked them similar amounts, as they both had silly costumes and seemed crazy. Perfect for a 9-year-old

Yeah, I am, but dude, nobody was booing after that match. The Warrior fans were cheering Warrior and Hulk’s fans were cheering his sportsmanship. C’mon Brother Bruti 🙄

I'm a warrior fan, idk why Brutus saying he a piece of shit. Lot of these wrestlers seem to say bad things about the warrior. Well whether it's true or not about him, Jim was the best. And of course I was very happy he beat hogan. I never really liked hulk hogan. Sometimes I wonder if these guys were jealous of Jim hellwig. Because I have looked into of some saying he looked great compare to the other wrestlers. Well I can say warrior is the best of all of them and he was also sexy when he was younger, when he first came. Rip Jim. I wish I could of met him
