Best way to describe the two in my opinion is that JID reads through bars like a well flowing novel. In the meantime, Denzel is like reading through the panels of a comic book. They’re both just so elite

This was the song that got me into JID. I was already a fan of Denzel and had just not gotten around to listening to JID. I'm a gigantic fan of both now. They both released maybe my top 2 hip hop albums of 2022

One of the coldest bars in this song is hardly EVER talked about because it’s so over the top. JID says “someone send me up vertically (😇) horizontally” as in a Cross ✝️ … “read me a passage of deutoronomy”. So suttle but after so many listens it hit me and my mouth was dropped!!

J.I.D. played drums when he was younger he would hear music patterns different so he can rap unique pockets that most rappers can't definitely is influenced by the beat when rapping he was smart mastered his voice early when started rapping by the the time he got recognized which was later near mid 20's he didn't have to find his voice after being signed was already a beast
