He's a gamer. Plays his best against the toughest opponents. Look at the Ohio State film. Easily his best career game. A number of things limited his college production including the ACL and kidney infection. Not to mention the death of his sister. I believe he'll be a much better pro player. He just needs the right team to draft him just like any other player. Pro Bowl caliber. His physical ability is rare for a guy his size.
@The Mack actually he looks slower. Steeler fan that has watched a lot of Tuitt. Still looks like a decent player here but late 1st or early 2nd material.
@@mlee81 Tuitt ran a 4.92/40 and Bresee ran a 4.86/40 Difference in speed is Indistinguishable. Both big, quick, powerful, and fast for their size. I’d take Bresee at 17 no problem. Someone else realistically could take him before. No chance he makes it to the 2nd round, unless he has some medical concerns.
His tape during his 2020 season or before the injury speaks top 5 pick overall, this season looks like he's still not 100% but still dominant i say he can still be picked somewhere between mid to late first round.
he’s a good pick, his time in college isn’t a fair look at his athleticism since he got hurt several times then His sister died and he had a kidney infection. He’ll be healthy in the nfl and keep getting better every game till he’s top 10 at least he’s like the next jj watt
@Zack Pierce weren't "smart" lions fans just complaining about Brad Holmes drafting players with injuries and missing significant time in their first and second years?? And you think they will turn around and do it again lol, yeah ok
I'd like for my falcons to get him with the 2nd or 3rd pick if he's available. Good player to rotate in with our DTs. The 49ers , KC, Dal, Arizona, and Buffalo would be a good fit as well.
go falcons! i'd like to see that too, he needs work, coaching some better technique, he likes to tackle high too much, but definitely he's got really good potential.
@@q5024 haha preciate it but yes i agree. y’all should’ve definitely went with an oline or dline pick. maybe even a reciever but running?!? you guys have cordelle patterson and tyler allgeier two dynamic running backs and allgeir is young so i thought they’d give him more time to develop. but aye bijan seems like a nice fast explosive back so maybe they know what they’re doing. best wishes to both our teams im jus ready to start watching football again!
Hell slide to the backend of the first round, he locks hands onto an O lineman and waits for something to happen. Can’t do that at the next level, he’s very raw.
Dude is out of his gap A LOT. I really don't see the hype other than I'm sure he's strong and obviously has good size. His sacks weren't all that impressive and looks very stiff running pass rush games and just running around in general. Biggest concern to me is how often he is out of his gap though. I just don't really see what people like in him.
@@unicornsteaks6769 I realized my first comment was from an older account, but anyway... I don't think that particularly matters. The level of competition is really roughly the same across the board at the Power 5 level. There are good and bad players in every conference. There may be better teams in different conferences, but it's not like the NFL solely drafts from the SEC. Regardless of competition, it just doesn't look like he understands his role in the defense. I just think he was surrounded by so much talent and his relentless pursuit of the ball saved him. He was really out of gap a lot. Like to the point that it looked just really unfocused. That won't fly at the next level as easily. He is also EXTREMELY stiff. Doesn't bend well at all. I'm interested to see his numbers at the combine.
I was more bothered by the effort level on some of the plays. He looked way too comfortable just taking up space and a blocker until the runner or qb ran straight into him. I would take a chance in the second or third if I had a good Dline coach, he does look like he's got speed and burst but he's gonna be a project I think.
Wow there's so many NFL scouts in this comment section. I'm impressed all you guys are taking time from your NFL jobs to be here giving such amazing insight
He’s big, strong and has good speed once he gets going. Pretty short body of work here. I didn’t like how he did not help his teammate up at 2:07. Yeah it’s a little thing to some but it speaks to his character. Chargers need a disruptive DT so I would be happy if we got him in Round 2.
better than carter lol, carter wasn’t even a 2nd string last year. Carter’s just really strong, I don’t see any crazy moves, his stats are padded from being on a crazy good Georgia team
Assuming Carter and Anderdon gone.. Lion's should trade out of 6 and get another 2 and a 2 next year and a 3 this year. Then go to work and grab Bijon Robinson, Kelee Ringo, DeMarious Overshone, Devon Witherspoon, and a Sec Guard. Also like that Line backer out of OHIO state.
If the Lions can't get Jalen Carter I hope they get Bresee. Hopefully a lockdown CB like Christan Gonzalez or Cam Smith is for their next pick. With Hutchinson and Houston on the edges they'd dominate with a DT like Carter or Bresee.
Well, he sucks at that too. If he was a 2-star player coming out of high school and went to Kansas, he would in no way be in a day 1 or day 2 conversation... What he has going for him is size, I'm assuming strength, and energy. Looks like he'd be a blast to play with, but good technique and sound understanding of the scheme? No.
@@LucBequettefrom why I see is he engages the offensive line then gets rid of them after he sees where the ball is why I said read and react. I mean I don’t want my team to get him so lol I agreee I guess
Were we watching the same thing? Half of these were just because the OL blew his assignment. Only a few were him straight up man on man. And those were usually because the play lasted longer than 4 seconds and the OL figured the play was over.
A lot of blown assignments on the oline in this tape and the qb hanging into the ball but I do like his tuff ness and most of all his energy with everything he does.He could become a better pro then a college player but he also had a few Injuries i believe .Anyways i see a mir to late first
@@sambradley2370 no bro he said trade that means they get Seattles pick for free, it's not like a "trade" implies you offer assets of equal value in return. Also Rich Margin is very smart thats all I have to say.
Fields still gonna get sacked "Justin Fields has been sacked the most by a quarterback this season, with 55 sacks". Defense is not your biggest need. Doesn't matter if you can't score.
Jesus he just made Zion Johnson look foolish there at 0:26. As a Chargers fan who drafted Zion Johnson last year this doesn’t sit well with me. If we don’t draft him I hope he goes to NFC.
I'm concerned the Seahawks might draft this guy, in a phone booth I like his quickness OK and he has some power but once any of that breaks down he looks comically slow and to be frank, arthritic.
He looks good, but I feel like his explosiveness is lacking out of the 3 point stance. He looks too slow to be an edge rusher and too light to be an nfl DT
Love his passion and motor, but his pad level is pretty bad. Hes gonna have to clean that up big time or hes gonna spend a lot of time on his back in the NFL.
He looks stiff to me. He’s quick but not necessarily fast. His hands look like a big strength but he definitely needs to get in the NFL and drink those milkshakes and lift those weights! I’d take him in the late 4th Round.
