Hi, since you asked about his ethnicity, Brian Magsayo is Filipino. I am not sure if he played in a band with ither Filipino musicians abroad. I worked in Dubai for 7+ yrs, majority of pubs, clubs and hotels have Filipino band singing all kinds of music. That is the same to all middle eastern countries because we have a lot of OFWs (overseas Filipino Workers).
Good dynamics this singer. I like the fact that he didn't do his own version and actually sang the song as it is. Have you guys heard "The Sails of Charon or Animal Magnetism" both Scorpion's songs covered by Testament?!! if not you shall react boys!! Animal Magnetism Testament, if I'm wrong let me know, song tone was dropped two tones down from original version to make it darker. Singer here knows his business
Hey by the way, Philippinos have some singing qualities. I have a friend from the Philippines and sings really good! He has a channel in RU-vid but I don't think he sings on any of his videos, although he's a good singer

this is one of the reason why filipinos are considered the greatest singers in the world....we have a very high standard when it comes to singing....that is why filipino's are very hard to please when it comes to singing

Kung Di maganda boses mo o nagpipilit ka lang maging singer sangkatutak na masasamang reaction makukuha mo.
