Now this is a man I'd thoroughly enjoy fishing with or even sitting around his kitchen table talking. So much to learn from his decades of experience. I bet he's got a ton of stories to tell.
Wonderful content. Any serious bass fisherman should view. Raw honest footage from one of the best of the best. Thrift is as fast, efficient, and as competent as any in the game. Yet he's honest enough to admit the randomness and uncertainty of this body of water and fishing in general. NOBODY has all the answers but he shows why some are far more consistent than all others.
Hi my name is Shawn Brown from Va. I have a (?) to ask y''all? When using a bait casting reels is it good to use 12 pound mono strings, or braid? If not which stings, & pounds is best to use on a bait cast reels please respond to my (?).
mullet head he’s the best of the last decade. He’s brought a limit to the scale like 85 times in a row. He’s got a podcast called Let’s Talk Fish where he opens up a little more with the secrets. He’s my new favorite since finding the podcast. It’s also on RU-vid.
How can you compete with a guy that's got a nose like a bloodhound? The dude can sniff them out, FLW should make him wear a swimmers nose clip. That should make things more fair. Maybe we should tie one arm behind his back, maybe we should.........
see where thos casts are landing. difference between us and pros. one of many. would take me 25 casts and a couple of lures to hit those spotsthat he hits without even thinking about. we are worried about getting hung and losing a ten dollar lure
kellbell34205 Try a white Z-bait chatter, or a strike king green and white with the red eye. If the waters are a bit murkey, fish some more natural colors like the z-man jack hammer evergreen with a green trailer (craws and toads are great)
War eagle buzz bait with a zoom horny toad white, black or green pumpkin when the bluegill spawn is on. I die the feet with chartreuse die. Take that rivet off and sand anywhere that contacts metal to metal to make it squawk and squeal the louder the better, calls them hawgs up. Lunker lure and hawg caller buzz baits are good too if your leaving the skirt on. You can really make them squawk and squeal. I also move that rivet forward to tighten it up a bit makes it louder too. You can also zip tie them to your antennae on your truck and that'll make em louder too. I like using zoom horny toad or z man toad you super glue that to the buzz bait and you can catch 50 bass no friggin joke man. I love buzz bait fishing it's my favorite way to catch em. 6'6" medium heavy rod, 17 pound mono and a 6:4:1 Daiwa reel in winter time, 7:4:1 in summer or warmer water when they want it faster. In the winter time you can catch em almost 12 months a year on buzz bait but you gotta fish that thing slow as possible just keep it moving no more. Lot of guys just fish em too fast when the water gets cold. We caught em when it was 20 degrees out on SML last winter in December.
