Things come full circle. Lost my wife to a car accident. Been spending more time with my ex wife because I promised a little boy I would always be there for him. I love him as my own. I am the only consistent father figure in his life and I made a promise. My ex wife is and will always be my best friend and it's the same for her. We get judged because of it. I'm feeling things I'm not supposed to. A part of me has always loved her and I can't just turn it off. My wife understood that I gave away a little piece of myself and it was ok. She knew how much I loved her because I told her every day and we shared everything with each other. Never a lie, and we never had a fight ever. I know I'm not supposed to but I never stopped loving my wife. I came upon this song and realized I'm literally living it.
