I'm not a Twilight fan but I love Rachelle and Bryce play Victoria. They both very beautiful and hotter then other female cast in the movies...

She's so pretty and talented,she can even cry on command (cue) in movies! and real life of course good actress and a good mother!

Rachelle was an amazing Victoria! I'll miss her! But, Bryce seems like a very good person. I think she'll do a great job. Both of them are amazing actresses.

I think she did a very good job in "The Village" as well...it's nice to see someone in two completely different roles and show off their versatility

They replaced Rachelle with Bryce because Rachelle had another film project that was overlapping during the Eclipse filming...however, it was only for several days...and the studio behind Eclipse made a big deal out of it and got mad.

Shame that the old Victoria is gone, but i'm still JUST as excited to see how Bryce Dallas Howard goes about playing her. I think she will do a great job :)

I Love Bryce Dallas Howard (good thing you can't see her dad in her other than the red hair) but she is a good actress I love all her movies lady in the water, the village, spiderman and terminator salvation.

@DarthLego100 Rachelle, who previously played Victoria had a work schedule mix up. She accepted a role in another film, and thinking her place was safe in the twilight saga; told Summit about her newly accepted role too close to the filming schedule. They could not change their schedule for one person too close to the first shooting days, therefore had to replace her with an actress who could be available on time. Bryce was available at the time, so they offered her the part (:

Bryce is such a GREAT actress. I haven't seen Twilight, but I love her in "As You Like It". I think she should do more Shakespeare.... we really need more Shakespeare :(

Saw her in the lobby of the Alluvian Hotel in Greenwood, Ms. this afternoon. She is a very nice and polite young lady. You can tell she was raised by some folks that taught her how to be a gracious young lady. There was a pool scene in the movie "The Help" and she was very intrested in the young children around the pool that were a bit stressed by the long time it took to get a shot. The entire crew from the movie are in Greenwood and they are ALL very nice and we are glad to have them here.

Rachelle was fantastic but I think she did a very good job at this character as well, so I can't pick who I like best. both have different qualities and yet the have equal.

I adore this Victoria. Back when I first read these books, this actress was who I imagined as her.

i loved rachelle. she was a fantastic Victoria... I wish she couldve come back but no one can hate Bryce, she was just chosen to take over.

for those who think bryce is a bad choice as Victoria, you have not seen her act, then. she is beyond brilliant and always becomes her character to the zenith. she will be spectacular. when i heard rachelle was replaced i was very pissed, but when i heard it was by bryce, i had no worries. you shouldn't either. plus her hair is intentional. she is suppose to resemble an old fashioned porcelain doll. thats how the filmmakers wanted it.

well Rachelle is the one who denied the role. I think Bryce makes an excellent Victoria honestly and it was either cast someone else as Victoria or haveno Victoria therefore no movie so.......

At the start, saying that I was annoyed they replaced the previous Victoria was an understatement. However, watching all the trailers and teasers; I cant really say about word about her... apart from the wig - that made me laugh at first. Bryce is really such a friendly person; which Is knowledge I have gained from this video :D

At first I thought it was Rachelle who played but Victoria, but then I realised it was a whole another actress. They did a good job I gotta admit that!

People; Bryce is a very good actress. Give her a chance. Rachelle will be missed, especially since the character she attracted much attention to won't be played by her as it is a huge role in this film and novel. But give Bryce a break, she respected Rachelle, she said Rachelle was the one who created this character (portrayal). She credited Rachelle.

tbh.. im gonn get haters comments. but she suits victorai more. yeah she looks more childish and innocent, but she suits the cat like appearance she is portrayed in the books. she really does.

she made victoria look weak. she didn't have the same feral presence that rachelle did. when you switch characters it ruins the product.

Never knew BDH played Victoria until now

I loved Rachelle, but I'm not sure if she would really fit in in Eclipse. Victoria had to look innocent and kind of lovesome when she's talking to Riley. I think this was perfect, but the old Victoria was perfect in Twilight too. Both really pretty

I think she'll do amazing with the character! Victoria never had a huge role that really showed who she is until Eclipse so Bryce gets to play with it a little bit. I think she'll do really well.

@98juliacapri Rachelle Lefevre who played Victoria in the first two of the saga had to leave for Eclipse due to another job she had during that same time. So they had to fire her and they replaced her with Bryce Dallas Howard.

I think she did a pretty good job. Her face has more of an innocent look to it than rachelle's but she still had a pretty threatning presence.

i think they replaced rachelle because of scheduling conflicts. I heard rachelle's schedule got in the way of the twilight films.

awwr poor bryce when you look at how many views an interview with kristen stuart got and then how many views bryce got you can tell no one really likes her yet. but i think shes just trying to do her best i mean, if you were her and you knew rachelle did such a good job and you were cast as the new victoria you would be like omg i cant do this! so give her a chance she might be a really good actress you never know.

@swifterfan Rachelle (the original Victoria) had a 10 day overlap with the filming of Ecilpse and a different movie so they just recast-ed her, which is pretty dog.

ok so yea rachelle is missed i miss her but the real story is that rachelle had other projects and she didnt tell summits that she had a project going on til the last minute and was not gonna be able to do the movie eclipse so there i mean come on Bryce did great i gottatell you she did great
