I saw the DNF but was waiting to see what you posted about it. When I heard the engine clatter in the video, I felt the pain. None the less, thanks to you and the team for always putting on a good production and your contributions to the sport. You capture the beauty down here in Baja, and I hope others can see that through your content. Favorite racer/team by far!
Huge round of applause for you and your team on all the prep work, prerunning, media updates/uploads and everything else that goes into running one of these races..👏 I truly look forward to these series! Episodes are always 🔥 so thanks for all the hard work that goes into making that happen! Can't wait for V2R...😁 🏜🏁
Thanks for churning out the quality content mate even though it has been a bumpy ride this year. Hope the bad luck has run out now and up and onwards from here on!
Oh man, I could feel your pain and frustration when the motor went south. It made me think of an old Dire Straits song The Bug (when you were 2) "Some days you're the Windshield. some days you're the Bug". You guys always rock it, press on regardless! We love you guys.
We know this sucks, it's frustrating, it's upsetting. We also know it's part of racing. You can only do so much to keep these things going race after race. But man, I felt your frustration. Thank you for the Amazing driving, and the video footage is by for the BEST!
Bryce, I'm a Pooolvorde fan but like your racing style. Your on the edge and that's what it takes to be a consistent winner. Off-roading is tough on vehicles and drivers. See ya in the four hundred keep up the good work!
These AWD big cubic inch engines are on a whole different level than what was used in the past. It will take some time (and $$) to make them ultra-reliable, but they will get there. Every engine builder has had issues at this new level of HP. Another positive is the ability (now) to live-stream in car with a StarLink set-up. Hopefully every TT team has this setup by the 1000.
Man that's a heartbreaker, especially after watching all the time, effort, and investment in the prep & pre-runs. You'll get'em next time - keep going!
Such a damn bummer. All that pre running. All the hundreds of hours of truck prep and testing. All the work and money that went into this just to lose a motor so early on. I can’t begin to imagine how frustrating and heart breaking that is. But you have a hell of a program and professional team behind you. Can’t wait to see you guys bounce back and get back on top.
AMAZING quality video as per usual. You and your team are the best in the game and I was super bummed seeing you guys got a DNF especially after all the homework and pre running you and your team always do to make sure you are THE BEST. Regardless huge props to you and Oren for always coming back with a good attitude ready to hit it again and make some moves to be at the top. I hope this was the last of the bad luck and you guys are only up from here!
Im sure this will be a short one, still my favorite Driver and Team. Waiting to know what the issue with the truck was. This year the important one is Baja 1000.
@@BryceMenzies7 Awesome regardless of the result, nice to see you let the anger out and kept it in the video (keeping it as real as possible as you always do). I think i saw you and 1 truck out in the same frame so you were definitely catching Luke and all within 80 miles, imagine over the whole 500 :S Driver and Co-Driver wise you're the best there is. Hoping for a Great 400 and 1000.
props for the Metallica.. killing it as always.. Sorry man this was the year.. fkn bad luck BS #bm7 Lashing out the action, returning the reaction Weak are ripped and torn away Hypnotizing power, crushing all that cower Bryce and Oren are here to stay
Can definitely hear the frustration and pain when the motor failed. Keep your head up g. Sticking with Dougans? Maybe time to switch it up to a Joe Gibbs or Hendricks Motorsports engine.
Great video, The music was spot on Jason or Justin (your media guy). Dugan's that's strike two, I wouldn't be surprised if they kicked you to the curb....I know I would.
Incredible! Daddy can’t buy this guy success. The helicopter is a waste of resources other than great video shots. His preparation is unmatched. First class team to the max. But mediocre results. I’d bet if he stepped down from daddy’s pedestal he’d do better on a underfunded team. Of course that will never happen. I enjoy watching this young man try. It’s a epic display of failure and frustration. It’s got to be even more painful for the dozens of crew members who think they’re part of a bad ass race team. It’s the same feeling a NASCAR cup team member has who never wins a race. I wonder how much Mr Menzies spends on a single race weekend in Baja? Any guesses? That includes salaries, parts, spares, prep, transportation, lodging, etc.
what a crazy comment. So winning the 250 and 400 just last season plus the KOH TT event is considered mediocre these days? still lots of events left this season as well.
@@MAI-zl3li correct. DNF’s are mediocre results. Those wins you mentioned from last year are less the a 50% winning average. Not good enough with a unlimited racing budget - a budget that dwarfs competitors. He’s expected to win by all TT competitors EVERYWHERE! That’s why I say he would have better results racing for a different team. Then he’d have to earn his ride. Get it? His talent is not leveraged racing on Team Menzies. Bad team management. No reason to be blowing up $80,000 engines 😂
