Thank you. The Checkerboard (Hortulanus) wrasse is a beast. But definitely a fish with personality -- in my experience these guys are NOT peaceful towards other wrasses, but fits in well with larger more aggressive fish.
I love that. I want my animals to be long-lived -- It's a very satisfying goal for me, as a marine aquarist, to have longevity and vitality in the animals.
Vibrant is simply API Algaefix. But I picked up a bottle of Dino-X since it specifically talks about "Golden Algae" as one of its uses. I'm not certain if I'll use it. But it would be a last resort. H2O2 dosing and targeting applications has been nearly ineffective. It'll die in the spots I spot treat but comes back in about a week. There has been documented success against golden algae with the use of algaecides if used properly.
